A Broken The Journey of a Bipolar is an autobiographical work based on the author’s constant struggle with manic-depressive disorder. Mr Wright examines himself and shares his struggles with the disorder. Wright mentions his two-and-a-half-month stay and four-month stay in the Wyoming State Hospital after suicide attempts. Wayne sheds light on his constant struggle to fit into society. This work is designed to enlighten the reader about the realities of people who struggle with bipolar disorder. It should also appeal to the reader who struggles with the disorder, those with a loved one who suffers, or those who seek insight into the depths of this illness. It is the intention of the author to not only educate the public, but to dispel the stigma concerning the mentally ill.
My father wrote this book. I myself am not bipolar, I am just reading it to support him. He has a brilliant mind, and he is a very deep thinker. Some of his thoughts catch me off guard.
