Great start to this series. Starts off with the son wanting to take over the MC from his dad and then a shootout that claims a lot of lives and the son rescuing a girl who watched her father die before her eyes. As much action was in this book, I can't wait to see what the rest of this series is like. So far I love this series.

Slade is part of the Dark Angels MC; his dad is the leader. He just spent three years in prison and is ready to strike out as the leader. He made connections on the inside to take the Angels to the next level. He sets out on a run with the group taking the lead.

Fiona, or Fi is 17 and meeting with her dad. He too just was released from prison taking the blame for something he did not do. They are having a great time when the Savage MC comes through and starts shooting. Her father ends up shot and Slade steps in, takes her away, and brings her to the clubhouse.

His father is in ICU from one of the bullets. Everything is falling fast! Cops on the way, the cartel on the way, everything is hanging in balance. Fi and he share a connection now. She wants him, but he feels she is too young. Where will things end up? This is the prequel to a series of the MC gangs, their lives, what they have to do to live and be safe. It ends in a cliffhanger. A fast-paced read full of action!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "FORBIDDEN ROMANCE". WOW!!! What a way to start off the prequel to "Dark Angel's MC" series your hooked to the end a rollercoaster ride of intense drama, action, chaos, suspense, murder, a page turner for sure.
Slash is the son of MC Prez just waiting to become the new leader, Fiona is reunited with her father its been awhile then bullets start flying everywhere she sees her father murdered right in front of her.
Fiona screaming gets Slash to remove her from harms way she's terrified, scared, alone what will happen to her now so many unanswered question.
I defintely recommend to read before the next book "TWISTED TIES" comes out after that cliffhanger need it ASAP to see where this story takes you.

Quite an interesting intro to a new series

This is a quick read and a lot is happening all at once. Slash is the son of the MC prez and is chomping at the bit to be named the new leader. Fiona is just re-uniting with her father when all of a sudden bullets start flying everywhere and she sees her father taken out right in front of her. Scared, terrified and alone, Slash gets her out of harms way... for now....
Wanna know more... gotta get this story RIGHT NOW AND GET READY FOR A WHOLE NEW ROLLERCOASTER ADVENTURE!!!

Not a delish appetizer

I understand this is only the prequel. A taste of what readers would have full course in the big full book.
But, there are already many things disturb me.
The brotherhood in the MC is weak if not to say, none. I dont feel an really.
And what happened on the run that eventually ask for the prez life? İt happened so fast on the run/attack including the H/h. But there's not even explanation after, only that the H messed it up somehow.
And then the h.
İ'll be super spoiler if i go on. Lets just say, there are so many holes when this prequel should be an appetizer for the main course.

Slash is an MC. His father is the president and Slash wants to take over. Then there is a shoot out, and in the middle of all this Slash sees Fiona who just watched her father from another club die. This is a prequel and it is a quick read, but if this is any indication of what the series will be sign me up. This has violence and it is just a wild ride. Fi and Slash need each other. This is just a great start. . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Just the beginning.

This is a fast paced story that would keep you glue to the pages from beginning to end. This book would take you on an adventure that included drama ,strength, tension ,turmoil and a whole lot of complications that you won’t imagine.Fiona is out to lunch when her Father is gun down right before her eyes.Caught in the wrong place she is rescued by Slash a member of Dark Angel who just returned home after a 3years prison sentence. Can anything be more complicated than these two.

Age is Just a Number -
Slash and Fiona met in the middle of a dangerous situation where he rescued her, but not everyone was happy about her being at the MC clubhouse. However, Slash took it upon himself to protect her, even though he was intense attracted to her and there was a possibility he could get into trouble. This prequel sets the stage for what is bound to be an action-packed and drama-filled romance story with a touch of passion and excitement. You will definitely enjoy reading the Dark Angels MC series.

TOTAL CHAOS

This is a wild ride for the beginning of this series
Nobody is safe at this point.
Slade brought an underage girl back to the clubhouse after seeing her father killed in front of her and she was screaming.
Nobody knows what is going to happen as it is a wait and see game.
Can not wait for the next story in this series

This is a prequel that provides enough of a taste for the upcoming Dark Angels MC books that has me extremely interested. The brief interactions between Slash and Fiona when he saves her after her father was murdered has me hooked on the many possibilities that will explore how their relationship in the future might transpire.

I was given an ARC through Booksprout in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.

Sad Goodbye.
Great story. This is a great beginning to what looks to be a great series. Slash wants to take over the running of the MC but, is he really ready for all that it requires? Now he has Fiona to take care of and that causes a whole bunch of problems. Join the Club as they Ride or Die together.

Enjoyable introduction to what I’m sure will be a fast paced, thrill ride of an Mc series.

Lots of questions posed which seem like they are setting up nicely the undercurrent storyline within the series with intriguing characters being introduced.

Looking forward to reading the first book when it releases

Slash and Fiona are thrown together when she connects with her father only it is short lived because she is caught in the crossfire with it taking out her father right before her. Slash gets her out of harm's way, and it will start their journey. Will it lead them to a happily ever after? This action-packed story may be short, but it is filled with a lot of drama that keeps you glued to the pages. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Slash father is the president of the MC and he wants to become president himself. Fiona is out with her father, when all of a sudden bullets start flying everywhere and she sees her father killed in front of her. Slash sees Fiona who just watched her father from another club die. Slade brings her back to the clubhouse.
With having to take care of Fiona causes a whole bunch of problems.
A fast paced, roller coaster, thrilling ride.

Great fast paced introduction to a new MC world. There is tension between rival gangs, a shot out, intrigue and the start of a love connection with more potential issues and connections that it seems.

Can't wait to start this series.

Cliffhanger

I really need the next book Twisted Ties if I knew it was a cliffhanger I wouldn't have bought the book, so frustrating. What happened to her dad was terrible cutting off the book just as bad. Anyone know when the next book is coming out? One big thing everyone of those bikers except for Slash are terrible especially Snatch

[Jenn M]

I really enjoyed the story in this book. Slash and Fiona have great chemistry and I suspect that at some point in this series they will find eachother and became a great couple!

The story is action packed and fast paced. I struggled at times because the writing was a bit awkward..

New series

Holy smokes this is a new series by Autumn and it's action packed. I need more of Slash and Fiona. I was left with some questions that I'm sure will be answered since this was a prequel and can't wait to get my hands on the next book.

“This ain’t the place to be with a hail of bullets raining on your lunch parade.”

In true exaggerated, dramatic, MC fashion, you’re thrown into the thick of things immediately.

Ok insta attraction read if it’s your kind of thing. Quite a few odd words and lots of repetition. 2.5 ⭐️

A prequel for what appears to be a new MC series...
A tad lacking in detail to get a good grasp of who, what & why but it is just the prequel so hopefully the layers will unfold, don't keep us waiting too long Autumn. I received an arc & his is my honest & voluntary review.

Fiona’s dad is murdered in front of her and Slash grabs her, rescuing her from a similar fate. They are definitely attracted to each other, but then it comes out she in underage so he is hands off. He dad is injured when her dad was killed so the chapter has a lot going on. Slash is kind of immature, but not a terrible guy. We have an intro to a bunch of chapter members—some not so pleasant—and a peek into Fiona’s past. I assume we will get more of their story in a later book. I have already read the book after this prequel so I am interested to see where it goes after that. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Dark Angels

Just as it started getting good it ended. I do think there was to much spent on the girl who's dad was shot, thinking too much about sex. Her dad was killed in front of her there is no way anyone would be horny like that
