آدرش Is a series of thoughts and essays from Dr. Khalid Sohail, a Pakistani Canadian Psychiatrist. It’s like a conversation you’re having with a kind stranger about various aspects of his life and what he had seen and learnt. You might agree with em, disagree with em, but you can’t shake the feeling that it’s a very realistic conversation which seeps you in.
Was recommended this book by a local bookseller at an event in Alhamra, which rekindles my preference for local bookshops and that internet and algorithms can’t replace word of mouth.

Thijs book is a collection of columns by Dr. Khalid Sohail.

This book covers a wide range of topics and the columns, regardless of the topic, are written in beautifully fluent Urdu, interspersed with Dr. Khalid's poetry as well. The text is enjoyable and leads one to think around many of the topics relevant to today's Pakistani society, our behaviours and reactions to certain contemporary discussions. \

All in all, a very good read.
