I finally escaped the prison I once called home and moved to a place where no one knew who I was. All I needed to do was keep my head down and I’d be able to coast through life with anonymity… Or so I thought.
When a wildly sexy bodyguard, Connor Christian, kidnapped my best friend, I was forced to face my fated mate, Prince Gabriel D’Marco. He’s the son of a tyrant and future ruler of a bloodthirsty clan where she-wolves are treated like dirt.
The devilishly handsome prince told me that my days of freedom were numbered unless we found his missing fiancée, who was last seen in Pentacle Academy. Failure to track her down would mean that our wedding was back on and I’d have to marry him in a month.
With my freedom on the line, I formed an unlikely alliance with the Prince and his bodyguard, plunging back into the world of the supernatural.
As we hit one dead end after another, my deepening feelings for Connor clash against my intense cosmic attraction for Gabriel. With dangers mounting and betrayals looming, can love prevail after secrets are revealed?
After running away from a pre-decided future that would have seen her mated to an unknown prince, son of the tyrant king, Ivy finds herself, 5 years later, at her store, with her friend Mia, predicting futures with the help of Tarots cards. The business is not successful and they find themselves facing the possibility of closing shop. A mysterious stranger, Connor, appears and winds up kidnapping Ivy to bring her back to the prince , Gabriel. This is where she finds out that her cousin Roselyn has disappeared from her campus without a trace. The author masterfully creates a story about the paranormal where arranged marriages, special powers, visions, prophecies, love, century old fudes, betrayal, friendships, and action filled situations are at the forefront of this very well written plot that grips the reader from the start and , virtually takes him or her on an adventure , with three wolf shifters, in search of a missing young woman that is fated to play a crucial part in the future of the packs. 5 stars. I recommend this book and look forward to reading the sequel.
There were things I really enjoyed about this but there was a lot that I struggled with. I liked the storyline but there was a lot missing for me. The evil king that needs to be taken off the throne, shifters and even the demon were fun to read about. The transitions weren't smooth and I felt like a lot of conversations and information was kind of passed over.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Idk I thought this book would’ve been different but it didn’t meet the expectations I had for it but It’s not something I’d recommend to everyone. It’s not bad it’s just different
