Beth: Running your own business is great. The workload? Not so much. We've been so busy with the app and new premises, that we've barely taken a breather. So when the opportunity comes along to hike up Mount Curver, I grab it. It's not just for some much-needed fresh air, but for family tradition too. The last thing I expect to see is the guy I just matched with. On my own app! Worse still, he's one of the group leaders. This hike could get very interesting...
Axel: I need my wits about me when I'm representing Search and Rescue on these hikes. It's a trail I've run a thousand times before. Truth is, I'm off-duty. Tagging along just gives me the chance to fix a mistake I made a long time ago. But when Beth shows up, I'm off my game. I have no hope of finding any trace of that missing woman with this girl around. And when Beth goes missing, it's all I can do to hunt her down and make sure she's safe. Not just now, but forever.

Beth is the second book in the Curver Dating Agency series and is the story of Bethany Harmony and Axel. Bethany is one of four best friends who created a new dating app and are getting the business off the ground. Bethany is a programmer who works on the code and she has been staring it to fix issues since it went live. Now she needs a break and ends up doing a ladies only hike to get some fresh air and also to pay tribute to her father. Axel moved to Mount Curver to get where the action is as a member of the Search and Rescue department. On his days off he also hikes Mount Curver to learn the terrain better and to look for the one person who he could not find. As it turns out Axel is accompanying the group that Bethany is in but it seems they will be matched in another way also. Let's just say that things do not quite go without some major incidents, danger, and drama in this opposites attract even when they are fighting each other and their attraction.
I enjoyed this nicely written book with a good story-line and likeable characters. Axel and Bethany have an interesting introduction and get to know each other really well quite quickly. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

First things first; I like the cover of this book! Bethany is the second book in the ‘’curver dating agency’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Bethany is part creator of a dating app. Needing a break; she decides to go on a weekend break/retreat. Axel wants Bethany as soon as he meets her at the hike. Will love blossom between them? The chemistry between Bethany and Axel is clear to see and I liked them together. I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.
Beth and some of her friends developed a dating app that they were testing and Beth had noticed she had a match to a mountain of a man by the name of Axel while she was on the way to her week long hiking vacation. When she got there she noticed a search and rescue guy present that looked familiar. He turned out to be her dating app match, Axel. There was an immediate connection between them with Axel even having a hard time concentrating on the hike and the surroundings for looking at Beth. A fast reading story with some mystery and romance. An enjoyable read.

So far I am loving this new series of interconnected standalones about a group of friends who created a dating app. This book is about Beth, the coding wizard of the group. She heads off for a much needed break and meets Axel. There is an immediate connection between these two, but since they’re on a group mountain hike, it’s not a good time to pursue it. There’s a bit of suspense when Beth gets separated from the group. I really liked these two together. They complement each other and are made for one another. I’m looking forward to see which of the ladies finds love next.

Beth used to go hiking with her father but, unfortunately, he is not able to do it anymore. So Beth wants to hike and plant a flag on the peak to honor her father. Axel is not the same after not being able to find a lost woman some years ago. There were some things that didn’t add up in this book; too little information about the lost woman, something Beth finds when she gets lost and where is her father? A few pages more with those loose ends would have benefited the book a lot. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love a good insta-love story, and this is definitely among the best I have read so far. It was funny, intriguing, hot and heartwarming. I read it during my lunch break, and I can tell you, best decision ever. The remaining books in this series, are on my tbr list, and are going to be read during future lunch breaks.
