The most unlikely friendships are sometimes the strongest.
Autism doesn't stop Kira Anderson from being a top rider at Three Sisters Farm. Horses she understands; it’s people that don't always make sense. Especially the secretive new groom who has just been hired. But when a damaged project horse falls into her lap, Kira has no choice but to push out of her comfort zone to help him. Enlisting the skills of the people around her might be the only way both she and the challenging gelding can survive.
Meanwhile…
Lena Davis has two goals this summer; work her way toward becoming a professional groom and make enough money to pay for rent and groceries. Oh, and avoid her mother’s increasingly volatile mood swings. She doesn’t need other people and she certainly doesn’t intend to make friends with the snotty rich girls she grooms for. But when her carefully constructed world begins to crumble, Lena will have to decide if her life at Three Sisters is worth fighting for.

The author does a fantastic job of writing a beautiful book including the way horses can help autism! I loved how these kids grow and learn to help one another! Great storyline!
This story was very engaging in spite of following the same plot line as the first book of this series. The original characters from that first book play in the background of this novel but do not impact the story. If the reader enjoyed the first of the series, quite likely this the second one will be equally entertaining.
It’s fine. Solid equestrian book. Better than the first Three Sisters Farm book, characters are more relatable by far. I kinda just don’t understand why the series is named for the Three Sisters Farm when the three sisters are by and large not very good people - even criminally sociopathic in the case of the eldest. I’m not sure what audience this is for, either - young adult/teen? Adult?
The abuse of people is dealt with in this book and it shows how devastating it can be. The horses and care takers are a good story. Also the story of autism was very informative. I learned alot of good information. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.
Another heartwarming story about horse farms and stables and the people who dedicate themselves to these wonderful animals. This one started off a bit slowly for me, but I fell in the love with the characters soon enough. I wish I had been fortunate enough to spend time with horses as they are such wonderful creatures. I am learning so much about them from these books too.
