The Savage Love Duet #2

You Loved Me First

Rate this book
Kimberly Pereira:

"Show me" I told him, and that's exactly what he did.
He showed me.
All of his true colors, all of his lies.
But first...
Morgan Brookes flooded my broken heart like the waters of Niagara.
A beacon of hope.
He had me believing there was a happy ending for a girl like me—one who has spent the majority
of her life as an outcast amongst a swarm of believers.
He made me believe, but mostly in him.
Which made the cut of his betrayal that much deeper.
I should’ve known better, but I was blinded by his charm.
Lost in our chemistry. Reckless with my trust in him.
It was too good to be true and deep down I knew it, because things like this always are.
That was my mistake.
One I won’t ever make again.
Morgan will never know how much I loved him,
because I’d rather take these feelings and bury them
than let him know he broke me in more ways than my father ever could.

You Loved Me First is part two of The Savage Love duet, a character spin off of The Ties That Bind Us duet. This book concludes Morgan and Kim's epic but tumultuous love story.
Although it is not a dark romance, this book has very sensitive and triggering situations that may be uncomfortable for some readers.

I procrastinated on starting this book because I knew in my heart it would wreak me.

There was certain portions in this book were I felt every dang emotion possible. I stayed up til almost 3 am reading and was in tears. I woke up and instantly started DM’ing Danda about all my feelings and emotions.

I literally went on an emotional rollercoaster and rant about this book. Morgan and Kim story will forever be in my heart. I felt every emotion in this book the good, bad, and just everything. How Danda was capable of writing such a story is beyond me and I am in complete and utter awe over it. True love literally has not bounds and this book gives you all the complicated things as well as the healing.

This may not seem like a review but it is this is just my honest feelings. This book was beyond amazing and was here for the entire ride. Kudos Danda! This one is definitely one of my top favorites of 2022!

I highly recommend this duet you will not regret it. Just know you will be long for one hellova ride that gives you an HEA you can only hope for.

Quotes I Love:

“I’m not the flower needing protection from the storm. I am, and always have been, the fucking storm. I just needed to learn how to find the beauty in its chaos.”

“Kim plus Morgan equals inevitable sexual tension.”

“The best part of waking up is Morgan in your cunt.”

I adore this book and want to shout how much I appreciate it. This book is a wonderful reflection of strength and empowerment. It was a pleasure to read.

In the most unkindest of ways, Morgan dumped Kimberly to protect her without telling her why. Kimberly felt completely devastated by this. Her pain was palpable.

In such a situation, most people would crumble. Kimberly was no exception. Despite her beliefs, she hasn't been able to cope. Everything seems to be out of the ordinary. She now has to figure out what life is like as a heartbroken woman and deal with the aftermath.

Morgan deserved to be hated for what he did. Though I understand his reasons, he was a jerk nonetheless.

In spite of this, I liked Morgan's calm confidence. Having been blackmailed by his father, he had grown tired of being seen but remained silent for too long. Finally, he decided that enough was enough.

The direction of his life changed dramatically as a result. On the other hand, it was wonderful to see Kimberly's compassion, loyalty, and determination to protect her heart in this story.

The story was well-written, and I liked the way things turned out. The craziest things happen when you think they can't get crazier. Things began to twist and turn in ways that you never expected. Once the story unfolded, everything started to make sense.

This was such a beautiful story of loss, love, and forgiveness. I loved the themes in this book. And I love that so much of the plot revolves around Morgan’s love for Kimberly and the extended he will go to protect her.

This was such a sweet story, and the characters were perfect. I loved Morgan and Kimberly development throughout the novel. Watching them come to terms with themselves and trying to figure out that they are who are, and that is okay.

There were a lot of powerful, beautiful themes running in this novel, and it was so well executed.

The growth that was written was so realistic. It was so easy to imagine myself in Kimberly position. I enjoyed witnessing her come to grips with her situation.

This is one of those stories where you find yourself smiling at the book like a fool, but it was so heartfelt and genuinely caring that there was no other way to continue.

Despite never having read the author before, I thought this was an excellent novel. I enjoyed reading the writing, and the overall emotions were authentic. This is an exceptionally well-written novel, and every second of it captivated me.

The emotional turmoil in this book has me shooketh. I was ecstatic to have received an ARC for this; and boy did it deliver. You guys HAVE to pick up these books from Danda. Make sure you do yourself another favor and read The Ties That Bind Us duet by her as well.

Morgan's tenderness that he holds for Kimberly simply radiates real, honest to goodness love. Reading Kim's decline into utter disaster and self destruction resulting in the heartbreak that she endures is seriously going to drag you into the pits of darkness right alongside her.

Morgan's desperation to right the situation he is in after he made the choices he did to protect Kim will light a fire in you. Morgan is obviously hell bent on getting back to the love of his life after his father blackmailed, bullied and controlled him into having to make the decisions that he did.

And the ending; just go ahead and prepare yourself. Epic. Magical. Perfect. There's no other way to describe it. Danda killed it yet again! 5/5 stars!

This book. This couple. Morgan & Kim are GOALS. This book ripped my heart out & put it back together again, but almost gave me a heart attack in the process. Kimgan’s love story is an emotional roller coaster full of heartache, laughs, tears, banter, anger, lots of steam, dedication, unconditional love, heart-stopping moments, & so much more. Thankfully, our savage girl & rich boy get their HEA, but only after one hell of a ride.

This is Danda’s fourth book & she’s like a fine wine…only gets better with time 😏 If you haven’t read her books, you’re missing out! Run & start reading! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed ❤️

Wow! This felt like I was apart of a gossip girl episode. There was arranged marriages, miscommunication, black mail, revenge, and so much dirty talk. Kim & Morgan went thru hell & back to get back to one another and I’m so happy they were able too. They both really showed up for one another and put in the effort after so much miscommunication and toxic behavior. Kim & Morgan’s banter is so funny and Morgan’s inner thoughts are the comic relief to a some what heavy book. This had me stressed and anxious and my nerves were shot but i was so happy with their ending.

I really enjoyed the conclusion to the Savage Love duet. I absolutely adores that the FMC worked on repairing relationships with people in her life and herself instead of only willing after the MMC and assuming he would solve all her problems.
In addition to a captivating love story, there was plotting, scheming, conniving and conspiracies.

This book was a journey filled with love, laughter and tears and I enjoyed every second of it. After book 1 ended I was impatiently waiting for the next one cause Kim & Morgan had taken over my heart completely. Their story is so close to me

After the events of book 1’s end, we see a different side of Kim. She is broken and is spiraling. The way Danda brought out her emotions was amazing, I could feel each and every one of them. We see her connection with her dad build and grow into something beautiful. As much as I love Morgan’s “savage girl”, I quite enjoyed her vulnerable side too.

Morgan was absolutely amazing. I can’t stress it enough how much I love this man! Danda writes the best heroes. Period. He took a big step in the end of book 1 and in this we got to see his reasons behind doing so. We see him struggle with his choices.

The chemistry between these two is one of the best I’ve ever read. It’s absolutely amazing. Their banter makes me laugh out loud and their love makes my eyes water. They are poles apart but still, somehow, they fit together perfectly.

You loved me first delivered the perfect ending to a perfect duet. I recommend this one to all!

ALPHA read.

Danda K. Has done it again! I don't know how Morgan and Kim can ever be topped. I relate to Kim in so many ways, it's unreal. I loved how she went into depth with Kim's side of things, we see her struggling, hurting, heartbroken. Kim always perseveres though. Morgan was Morgan and to me is the best type of MAN! Ahh he will forever have my heart, body and soul! Lol (don't let Kim see this) I am in awe of Danda and her talent, she takes Romance to so many places and levels. I am a forever fan, reader, supporter. If you needed a push to grab this here I am, don't worry the fall isn't as far as it looks, or is it?

I give this book a 5/5 stars. I was blessed with an ARC copy of this book and I was blown away. Make sure you have read You Broke Me First and get your tissues ready for this one babes because we have a bumpy road on the way to redemption.

*check trigger warnings* OBVIOUSLY

Our story picks up right after our Savage Girl watched what was literally the worst case scenario to ever happen, not only to her heart but to her self-esteem. Kim really struggles hard with the aftermath of Morgan's betrayal, and she is on a path of self destruction and is slowly losing herself to something even more dark. Believe me when I tell you, your heart will break with hers so have those tissues ready. Over the coarse of her time apart from Morgan she forms an unlikely alliance with someone who you'd least expect, and they help mend her broken heart and pull her out of the hole she has found herself in.

Rich Boy, Morgan is really feeling the weight of the decision that he had to make in order to protect Kim. He is reaching his breaking point, between dealing with his controlling father, who literally hold the power in his hands to harm the woman he loves, and making appearances with the woman his father is forcing / blackmailing him to marry, he feels like the world won't stop giving him the highest middle finger. But, Morgan has never been known to play dead or not rise to a challenge, so he is willing to channel all that rage into doing whatever it takes to fix the predicament he is in and get the love of his life back.

There is so much to this story that I am not sharing because I don't believe in spoiling the story, just remember you never forget your first love, be prepared to be ripped apart and you're going to cry in the best ways, then you'll slowly be put back together piece by beautiful piece. This book is more than just a romance for me, it is also about the true struggles behind healing, addiction, sobriety, loss, forgiveness and overcoming all the other obstacles life can throw at you; and how none of it would be possible without having a group of people who never giving up during the good, bad and the ugly.

Now that you got a taste of what is to come, go get your copy NOW and enjoy the epic finale to Kim and Morgan's story.

HOLY CRAP! If I could rate this book 20/5 I would!! I cannot get over the chemistry between Rich Boy Morgan and his Savage Girl Kim! They went through hell for each other. Literally fighting their way through life for each other. I have cried, gasped, gotten angry, cried some more and wanted to throw this book so many times during this rollercoaster of a story! These incredibly raw characters shared their vulnerability with each other. Kim was this rough around the edges girl, who was incredibly broken that wouldn’t let anybody in until Morgan. Morgan was this cocky, arrogant guy who had the world at his disposal or so everyone thought. It truly shows you that you don’t know what someone else is going through or living with. We all have demons and we all deal with them differently. I don’t think I’m spoiling anything when I say this because it’s in the trigger warnings but this book showing the start to alcoholism was so very real. As someone who has dealt with this, seeing it being dealt with in such a mature manner was refreshing. It reminds me of why I stay sober and that it is attainable. The relationship between Kim and her father was strained since the first book, literally fighting it every step of the way. It just shows that you can fix that broken tether before it’s to late but you have to actually work for it and the fact that you have to put in the hard work for it. This book had me on the edge of my seat, making me message Danda K herself to complain about the emotional turmoil she and her characters put me through. I loved it and I am so happy to have gotten to know Kim and Morgan. Our savage girl and our rich boy!

P.s. I just want make a mention of a few side characters that I love beyond belief! Daniel, Morgan’s brother. Tegan, Kim’s best friend and Cameron’s best friend from “the ties that bind us”! Also jaxon from the ties that bind us that make a cameo from “TtBU” (already out! Go read it!) Marcos, and finally Stone!!! Go get this duet, you truly won’t regret it. I can’t wait to reread it already! Danda K is a force to be reckoned with and she’s trailblazing through these beautifully screwed up characters!

Savage love Duet:
By @danda.k.author

5/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
4/🔥🔥🔥🔥

Proficient. Cocky. Slightly obnoxious.
Some may even say obsessive compulsive.
The young, successful rich hotshot with a trail of notches in my belt to prove it.

I've become pretty accustomed to playing the part...
...Until now.

You see—I’ve wanted only one thing my entire twenty-three years on this planet: to be surrounded by numbers.
They're safe, calculable, and almost never lie.
Numbers will never fail you, never judge you, never try to force you into marriage or a different career path.
They don’t require hope, or complain when you never call after sex.
I never needed anything more than the stability I've learned to achieve on my own—without my parent’s money and status lurking in the shadows ready to take all the credit.
Until one night...when reality decided to raise its ugly head and swing hard and fast.
Tactics were sent crashing through the window, obliterating any chance I had at maintaining the balance.
One party is all it took to form a crack in my plans.
One girl is all it took to shatter them completely.

-“He’s the cobalt and I’m the logic deficient magnet reaching my fingers out to trace his high cheek bone. I’m intoxicated, but it’s not from the alcohol. He’s my impairment. I’m the storm and this anomaly of a man is the eye of it—luring me calmly toward the center as my common sense, self preservation, and voice of reason spins around me like the chaos of a twister.” Morgan was definitely a favorite side character in the ties that bind us duet. So I absolutely loved seeing him again and getting his story. We learned so much about him that we didn’t know and made me fall in love with him even more. We also meet Kim, his love interest. Kim is a total independent badass chick that knows what she wants and goes for it. And on one fateful night when their paths cross, she decides it’s Morgan who she wants. Problem is giving each other fake names is all fun and games until it isn’t. This duet was absolutely stunning and I loved learning so much about both of these characters grew and developed. These two books will break you and put you back together at the same time.

In this conclusion to the duet of You broke my first, this story picks up from when everything fell to sh*t
5 months later Kim and Morgan are dealing with the aftermath of their broken love. Black mail, deceit, lies, and heartbreak has this beautiful duo at war. Morgan questions if he made the right decision to protect the woman he loved, Kim is feeling betrayed and broken, lost in her own grief. Morgan is the first man that Kim opened up to. Kim doesn’t trust, and it’s hard for her, due to the fact that her dad wasn’t around and her mother had her own demons. The only person she can trust is her grandmother, and Stella hangs on by a thread. Morgan is forced a hand he doesn’t want, but has no choice. Kim is trying to find her self at the bottom of booze. Danda knows how to draw you in with a story, and the connection between Morgan and Kim is undeniable. The word play of this novel is mesmerizing. I felt the pain of their heartbreak speaking me. Honestly I was emotionally traumatized reading their pain. Lol! It was kinda tough to read, because you know the couple loves each other, but things keep happening to pull them further apart. I love how Kim is soft for Morgan and only him. Sometimes women need to let their hair down, and the stone around their hearts to crumble. Sometimes the man can pick you up, when you don’t have no one else to lean on. It is understandable why Kim can’t trust, but Morgan fits so well with her, and they are compatible in every way. It’s Like Ice and fire and they form liquid together, making them on the same level field. (I’m trying to be deep. Ignore me for not making sense. Lol) Morgan has big d*ck energy, and the way he loves and worships Kim makes my knees weak. He’s hard on the outside, but Kim brings out his softness. He leads her to the best version of her self. I love these books. Danda takes you on a crazy ride, of romance, action, and steam. A beautiful tale of family, friendship, love, secrets, and life lessons in healing. That near ending had my jaw drop! Had to pick it up off the floor! Whoa! Xoxo

WOW WOW WOW!!! First, I want to say a big thank you to the author for sending me an ARC of this amazing book. I always love reading Danda’s books because they never cease to amaze me! After following Jaxon and Cam’s story, I never thought I would love two characters more…that is until I met Morgan and Kim. Although, Jax and Cam will always be the OG couple, Morgan and Kim have such a unique, beautiful and complicated story. They are two characters perfectly crafted to be imperfect. Kim especially is such a powerful, strong female MC that has been dealt a tough hand, but is resilient in the way she handles life throughout her struggles. I think my favorite part about her is her attitude and the way she takes absolutely no crap from anyone. Between Morgan and Kim, what you can expect from this book is awesome banter, a powerful love story and lots of 🌶🌶🌶. There were points in this story when my heart was breaking and other times when I was full on swooning. Danda always knows how to combine action, fast-paced romance that makes you flip the pages at lightening speed that makes you beg for more. With all that being said, this is no hallmark movie. This book deals with a variety of heavy topics that I would suggest looking up trigger warnings before reading. Thank you again Danda for gifting me this copy of yet again, an amazing book! Don’t forget to get your copy when it comes out on April 21st, 2022!!!

It's not a crime to love what you can’t understand.

This is the conclusion that will rock the foundation of love and the only way to survive is to fight... like a Savage!  It is a must to read the first book in the duet, You Broke Me First.  This one picks up directly after the shocking cliffhanger that had me in tears for Kim.

Now, all that is left of her fights just to survive in a world of internal rage and heartbreak.   Those from her past and present try to help her see that she can rise above the demons that have taken over her life.  After months of trying to prove she's "fine," Kim comes face to face with herself.

So much growth is seen, both internal and external.   Kim is tired of fighting and wearing her rageing sarcasm like a badge of honor.  She will show the world what it really takes to be a Savage Girl.

Morgan better be on guard.  After five months of believing he was doing the right thing, the skeletons are breaking out of the closet.  It will take some quirky "friends" to help him get out of the hell he has willingly surrendered to to save his savage girl.  Will he still be worthy of her love, or will the mistakes he made push her away for good?

Danda K.  delivered a savage 10 star read.  The things these two have to endure are not the "rainbows and unicorns" kind of love.  They ride the waves of a harsh real life journey that must be savored.  I'd bet the bank, you won't be able to put it down.

This is book two in The Savage Love Duet. We were left on Kim having her heart broken in a very public, humiliating display by Morgan and Casey (Morgan’s ex).
Kim’s life goes down in a very toxic, unhealthy way and it seems like she can’t find her way back from the rock bottom. In the meantime, Morgan is doing what he thinks is best to save Kim and protect her from harm. Once these two figure out what’s really going on, which is a long and excruciatingly painful road, we end up with a HEA that only Kim and Morgan could deliver. The Savage Girl to The Rich Boy. It honestly doesn’t get better than these two 🔥

I love how Danda always brings us to our knees. The pain, the hurt, it’s just consuming, encompassing, it’s too much yet not enough as I can never put the book down once I start reading.
How Morgan and Kim just bare their souls to each other, it’s beauty coming from pain, from the loss of what they had and now they have to rebuild. But they’re not the same people they were when they started dating, they are even more damaged now… can they find their way to each other again, after everything?

It’s always been Morgan. And Morgan’s dirty mouth, yes please! This man will forever be in my book boyfriends list! Kim is a lucky girl 💚

I really wanted to love this book as much as I did the first one, but it was extremely hard to overlook the fact that Kim forgave Morgan way way too quickly and easily after what he did. For all of her hang ups in the first book, how she watched him have intercourse with another woman after his inner monologue had just decided to never give up on her and then she turns around and falls back into his pants after? I understand she learned the truth of why he broke her heart, but even if she goaded him with another man two wrongs don’t make a right. After that the book just went downhill for me. Kim continues to have the short end of the stick, being sexually assaulted and beaten by her boyfriends father, having no groveling come from the situation, having almost committed suicide and developing a substance addiction. She said she wanted to work on herself before getting back with him, but I saw absolutely no evidence of that. She pretty much fell right back into a relationship. I would’ve really liked to see her make him work for it more, if we couldn’t have just removed him hooking up with Casey all together. Morgan had it way too easy in my opinion. The first book was a really great read though.

4.25 Felt it ALL Stars!! 💚

As soon as i reached the end of You Broke Me First i couldn't wait for more! I started counting down the days until i could read this second installment. I had to dive into it right away and i was pulled back into The Savage Love world immediately. I really enjoyed this book!

Kim and Morgan's journey continues! After book one, i honestly had no clue what all was going to happen next in this story which had me even more glued to my kindle. I loved how i felt such a huge range of emotions from beginning to end.

I was so glad that i got to jump back into both of these characters minds. It wasn't easy and i appreciated the realness of it all. From the pain to the love, and everything in-between, Kim and Morgan dug into my heart and made it feel every single bit.

With You Loved Me First, Danda K. has created such a great read that'll make you feel it ALL! Once you start it you won't want to put it down. This duet left me with such an awesome bookhangover. I can't wait to read what she comes up with next! Definitely check this duet out if you haven't already. 💚

🌶️: 2.5

Book two in the duet. Picks up where book one ended, which is the betrayal by the MMC and we see how deeply affected the FMC is as she begins to spiral into making unsafe choices for herself. During this time her father is making attempts to work on mending their relationship.

Meanwhile Morgan is miserable and hates that he has to bide by his father’s demands but is actively working to find some evidence he can use against him so he can end his engagement with the OW and grovel to the FMC.

The OW visits Kim to come clean about things she’s done and what she knows Morgan’s dad did which allows Kim the chance to visit Morgan to attempt to communicate all the truths to this point. Once everything is disclosed, they begin to work on healing their relationship but at a very slow pace.

Morgan finds out his dad cheated on his mom which resulted in a secret child, and also that he has been abusing his brother, and these two things prove to be the dad’s downfall.

There is one final confrontation with the dad before the couple can finally move on from all of the drama he caused.

Overall this was a great wrap up. This was a beautiful love story, not perfect, but it shows what can happen when two people don’t want to give up on each other.

Where to start? I was given an ARC copy and I want to thank Danda for the opportunity. This book is amazeballs!
The story picks up right where “You Broke Me First” left us all sitting on the edge of our seats. You feel Kim’s emotions as she experiences heartbreak and what she feels is the ultimate betrayal. Danda K. takes us on an emotional roller coaster with how Kim breaks, and how she brings herself back and how she eventually finds love again (not just romantically).
This book is not just a romance between Kim and Morgan. It’s a boom about fighting your demons, past and present. It’s about finding yourself and figuring yourself out, and finding your own identity. It’s about learning how to heal.
There’s characters you may have disliked in You Broke Me First, but through Danda’s wonderful writing, start to like them and understand them. You also start hating other characters as if you are Kim and Morgan yourself.
You Loved me First is an epic, emotions, and full of twist conclusion to Kim and Morgan’s story.
You will not be disappointed.

You Loved Me First by Danda K is book two in The Savage Love Duet. This is the conclusion to the first book so needless to say you must read them in order. I’m bias because I’m already a fan of this author and I knew I was going to love this book as well. When I say I flew through this book, I mean time passed before I knew it. I couldn’t put this book down nor did I want to. This read was everything I could have wanted, it was fantastic. These characters have a place in my heart, I related to Kim so much… I understood her. I loved the dynamic between Kim and Morgan. Their banter was on another level. I LOVED how their story was developed and how they came together and all the angst had me nervous. The journey this book took me on was incredible. I will mention to check your content warnings to be on the safe side. But this was another phenomenal book by Danda K, another two thumbs up recommendation.

Final review:
5 out of 5 stars

Holy whirlwind of emotions. I was not ready for anything I just read. The first book was a roller-coaster. This one was a full on hurricane, and I loved every minute of it! There were so many unexpected twists and turns. As soon as I recovered from one intense situation, another, more shocking one was thrown in.

Nothing about Kim and Morgan is simple, which is part of their appeal. It's an almost constant uphill battle you desperately want to work out.

I felt each heartbreak, every apology, and every ounce of compassion. These characters flaws compliment each other in the best way.

I'm sad to see Morgan and his savage girls story come to a close, but I'm hoping to see small glimpses of them in Danda’s future books, like we did with Jax and Cameron from the Ties Duet in this one.

Loved, loved, loved! I couldn't recommend this author enough!

Don’t even think about reading this book if you haven’t read the first part of the duet.
Oh my God where do I even start. I was consumed by this book and it’s characters.
Morgan and Kim left us in a heart breaking cliff hanger at the end of the first book. This one will completely gut you, shred your heart to pieces and slowly put it back together. There are so many layers to their story. So many jagged edges, so many unknown what ifs. Be prepared to cry, ugly cry, laugh, swoon and fall in love on so many different levels.
I can not say enough about their story and I definitely don’t want to spoil anything. So go read this duet!!
I love Danda K. She is a genius and an amazing story teller.

I loved You Loved Me First! Kim “Savage” and Morgan first came together in You Broke Me First, which ended on a cliffhanger making me die a little inside. Talk about angst and fire 🔥🔥🔥

I really like that Kim discovered so much about herself, after first trying to completely undo any shred of who she was. Relationships were ripped apart and put back together and she grew each time.

Both Kim and Morgan have volatile personalities and are so dang reactive! But, they are also so much in love.

The first part of this book has some slower spots that made me sigh a little. I wanted to move on to the meatier stuff! But, I appreciate the author giving me some downtime and not ending every single chapter in a cliffhanger…that wears a reader out!

Wow I thought book 1 was an emotional masterpiece, this book is phenomenal I am in love with Kim and Morgan's story!
There is some darker themes with Kim going down the rabbit hole and needing to heal but it is done wonderfully! Danda K is a master at making her readers feel alongside her characters! I love the journey she took these characters on and the conclusion to their story is just amazing! I'll be the first to admit that I may have teared up a little reading this book, but it's so good!!
Please check the continent warnings, there are some things that are talked about in this book that you may want to know before hand!

Favorite duet EVER!!!!

You Loved Me First is book #2 in The Savage Love duet.

This duet is EVERYTHING!!! I am so in love.

No matter what, I absolutely LOVE Morgan! This man is one of my favorite book boyfriends ever. He had to do some thing's to protect the ones he cares about, and he broke Kimberlys heart, but he won't stop until he makes it all up to her.

I just wanted to reach thru my Kindle and hug Kimberly. She will have your heart breaking in this one. And I love how Morgan is not giving up on getting her back and proving himself to her.

And that ending!?!? Absolute PERFECTION!!!!

This duet will always be in my favorites I have ever read!!!

What an incredible conclusion to the Savage Love duet!

This book will really make you go through a whirlwind of emotions. The twists, turns and revelations kept me turning those pages late into the night, and I have zero regrets about it. Kim and Morgan really go through a lot in this book, but the journey is well worth the read. Especially after that conclusion to the first book!
Oh and the steam in this book is just insane - as it always is with Dandas books!

If you haven't read anything from Danda yet, then you seriously need too. Her books are incredible.

I thought the first one put me through it?
Oh no no, this one, this one right here was on a whole different level entirely!!
Both sides of our beautiful couple go through so much pain, heartache, struggles, life altering situations, and just life itself in this one that I wasn't sure if they would make it out of the other side. Did they though?
You get to read and see for yourself if they did and in what manner. Danda absolutely outdid herself with our savage girl and her rich boy!

Once the main characters made up about a third of the way through the story, I was done. The plot went nowhere and everything just dragged with very predictable events.

One thing I appreciated was the h's love for heavy metal and Pantera. I loved that her interest isn't run of the mill yet rang true. References to Dimebag and Pantera's greatest hits were akin to easter eggs for true fans who never get to enjoy this genre of music in most novels.

Another positive is the nod to autism by way of the H's brother. It was nice to see his characters traits weren't completely stereotypical even if they did seem manufactured to fit the plot especially towards the end.
