<<< Yes, sometimes it was as if I had witnessed the entire scene, from the darkness of the tunnel, my hand on my revolver, ready to intervene. Latest then, as these thoughts entered my head, I would shake myself. We write our own laws. We live in a new world, a new reality. The story begins in California, where the hero's wife has just died and we are present at the funeral. It is all told in a matter-of-fact way, but after the prologue (which is bit over the top) the reader knows that tis is not just a story in Silicon Valley, but that bigger things have happened. Shortly after, Alan, a widower, start making his way to the East Coast where he comes across a black girl who has had her tongue forcibly removed. This mismatched pair embarks on an adventure that keeps opening up new plot lines. It is less depressing and less bloody than many other books in this genre. At times it drifts off into the philosophical, but it is well thought through and stays exciting. A new favorite.

Thank you to author Clemens P. Suter for this FREE Kindle copy of Rebound.

I really liked it - the story, characters, etc. There are still a few too many editing issues, which I find distracting, so I'm pulling a star for that. Nicely done cover.

What a great “doomsday” book! Won it free from Goodreads, thank you! Enjoyed the characters and premise, not like anything I’d read before. Never wanted to put it down and couldn’t wait to pick it up again. You won’t be disappointed!
