A Broken Teacup: Filling the cracks with Mindfulness, Essentialism and Self-care

Rate this book
This book is a reflection on how I went from positive and optimistic to stress and anxiety. And I was able to turn a leaf with mindfulness, essentialism, and self-care to focus on what matters.

I embarked on a journey to uncover the root cause of stress and anxiety and explore a road less traveled for my pursuit of happiness.

- I was diagnosed with GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) in Feb 2020.
- Trust me, this journey is the best one you will embark in your life.
- This sense of freedom from the shackles of our mind is liberating.

Once we face our fears and inner voice, then harmony lies within all of us. One day at a time.

If you are wondering why should I read this book: (or why did I write this book)
- Bibliotherapy is real: Heal and find creative solutions for stress and anxiety.
- One day at a time: Focus on the now, fully present, and appreciate everything around me.
- CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy): Turn negative thoughts into positive feelings.

- Generalized Anxiety Disorder: Be the voice for the unspoken, share stories, help each other heal.
- Stress and anxiety at work -> Burnout: Set boundaries and find the right balance.
- Mindfulness, Essentialism and Self-care: Open my heart, mind and soul to the flow of the universe.

Always remember, we are enough. We are right where we need to be.
Join me in uncovering the biggest strength in each other and being the rock when everything around us is falling apart.

What a beautiful book! I'm not a morning reader but one morning I woke up with my mind full already... Stressed, scared with a few things... And I decided to read a bit, to take my mind away before I start my day. I turned on my Kindle and I read 'don't let your fears stop you'. From that day, I started to read this book in the mornings. My days became much better, lighter, less stress... I now started to implement the one step at the time approach to things and I feel more productive than before.

Started reading this book... and enjoying the comforting, conversational narrative! The metaphor of the broken teacup is very apt.

Excited to share my first self-published book on Goodreads.

🦋 Thank you for joining me on this journey called LIFE.
I self-published my first ebook on Dec 21, 2021. 🦋

This ebook is a reflection on how I went from always positive and optimistic to non-stop worry, stress and anxiety, and then how I was able to turn a leaf and bring mindfulness, essentialism, and self-care into my life to focus on what really matters.

Thank you to folks around the world for your love and support. We are in this together.

Here is a 7minute video on my journey with stress and anxiety (a promise to help folks) and a heartfelt thank you.
