Wyoming Winter Rescue by Juno Rushdan
Harlequin contemporary Intrigue line. 1st in the series.
Lynn Delgado is a psychotherapist. First a patient gets violent, then Lynn is taken hostage by a man hiding in her car’s back seat. A serial killer has targeted her and someone is sending threatening letters. Nash Garner will do whatever he has to in protecting Lynn, but she’s told Nash they need time apart from their relationship. Can he stop all he forces aiming straight at her?

High octane, roller coaster suspense with edge of your seat action, mixed with relationship issues and secondary character building. The first 70 pages set up a troubled romance and backstory but before halfway, you’re thinking she’d be foolish to go anywhere alone. Ah, that independent attitude. Sure to be a problem.
Gripping, intense and electrifying. With relationship angst and twists thrown in for a good time.

This was a wonderful roller-coaster of a book. The beginning started slowly, and I have to admit I really wondered why these two were together in the first place. Then the suspense and action went into overdrive, and it was up and down for the rest of the book. Just like a roller-coaster all you can do is hang on. Juno Rushdan is one of my favorite authors and I have never read a book by her that I didn't love. Ups and downs, twists and turns and plot pivots you never see coming to keep you up at night. Fantastic stuff.

When psychotherapist Lynn Delgado called it quits with FBI agent Nash Garner it wasn't because she didn't love him. He was just so closed and compartmentalized she couldn't find a way past his barriers to the true relationship she grew up with and wanted for herself.

For ten months Nash thought he had found someone he could stay with long-term. He knew Lynn wanted more from him emotionally, but he just wasn't ready for that step. He was a great FBI agent because he could turn his emotions off when his job required it. Letting Lynn in was going to take work and it looks like she has run out of patience with him.

As Lynn is leaving work, she is confronted with a gun wielding former patient and the confrontation turns deadly. Nash reaches out to her, to help her deal with what happened, but she ghosted him. He is determined to reconnect with Lynn, and he isn't about to give up. Good thing because Lynn has attracted the attention of a notorious serial killer the FBI wants desperately to find, TRK, and Nash is the only one who can save her.

My thanks to the Publisher and the author, for providing a complimentary digital Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this novel via NetGalley. This is my fair, honest and personal review. All opinions are mine alone and were not biased in any way.

This was an intense, action-packed story from start to finish. Lynn is a psychotherapist in a relationship with Nash, an FBI agent. In the ten months they've been together, Lynn has been waiting for Nash to lose his closed-off attitude and talk to her. His inability to open up to her convinces her they have no future together, and she breaks off their relationship.

Nash knows what she wants, but between his childhood and his time in the military and FBI, he has learned to shut down and compartmentalize his feelings. He believes he can learn, but it is a difficult step for him to take. So he heeds her wishes to stay away from her but can't stop watching over her.

The book opens as Lynn is confronted by a patient who blames her for all his problems. He is determined to kill her. After hearing the gunshots, Nash arrives just in time to see Lynn shoot and kill the man. I ached for Lynn, who blamed herself for failing her patient and then killing him. I also hurt for Nash, who wanted to help Lynn deal with the aftermath but was pushed away.

This goes on for several weeks until, once again, Lynn is in danger. Not only is she receiving threatening letters, but she is also kidnapped at gunpoint as she leaves work. I felt her fear as she looked into the eyes of a cold-blooded killer and knew she would die. I loved watching her draw on her inner strength and the things she's learned from Nash and others to find a way out of the situation. Though she was safe, it looks like she is now the target of a notorious serial killer.

I was glued to the pages as I watched Nash and other law enforcement officers do their best to identify and find the killer. I could feel their frustration as they ran into dead-end after dead-end. Meanwhile, Lynn and her best friend leave town for a weekend getaway, believing they'll be safe. She never expected to be followed and have to escape into a blizzard. I was awed by her strength and determination as she struggled to get away. Only Nash's timely arrival brought the bad guy down.

But just when you think everything is sorted out, they discover that not everything is as it seems. The complexity of the plot against Lynn and the motivation behind it blew me away. Some intense scenes involved negotiations and surprise revelations before the true culprit was uncovered. The ending was a nail-biter with yet another life-threatening twist.

Their differing communication styles complicated the relationship between Nash and Lynn. Nash has difficulty talking about his feelings, but showing her has never been a problem. As the danger around Lynn grows, Nash realizes the depth of his devastation if he loses her and vows to make an effort to be what she needs. While I understood Lynn's need for Nash to talk to her, I got a little frustrated with her refusal to see his unspoken language and how she kept pushing him away. I loved when the dam broke, and Nash started talking. His confession of his reasons for not opening up before broke my heart. Lynn made me happy with her reaction and understanding. I hope to see more of them in the following books in the series.

I am a huge Juno Rushdan fan and was so excited to be able to read this one! Harlequin Romantic Suspense novels are definitely my bread and butter. But there are many authors that have a special place in my heart and their books always have a special place on my shelf. Juno Rushdan is absolutely one of them! The premise of this one lured me in from the jump. Psychotherapist with a murderous patient? Yup. I'm in. Serial killer targeting said psychotherapist? Yes, please! Ex-boyfriend coming back into the picture to protect the woman that he is absolutely in love with? You freaking know it! As an added bonus, there is a terrible blizzard in the mix. Now that is a premise for a damn good book!

While I had already expected this book to be great, I was still impressed by how it all played out. The action started right from the beginning and it didn't stop until the end. The pacing of everything was amazing and had me finishing this one in record time. I almost couldn't believe I had finished it so fast. There was also a lot going on, plenty to keep me guessing throughout the whole book as to what was going to happen and how things were going to come to a head. And the end certainly didn't disappoint either.

Nash was a great character and I loved his determination. Not only in his professional life, but in his personal life as well. He is an FBI agent who is also former military so badass is in his blood. He was a great hero along with being completely swoon-worthy. And Nash is also completely stubborn. While he doesn't talk much about his feelings with Lynn, leading to her breaking up with him in the first place, Nash certainly does what he can to show how he feels. He kept an eye on Lynn to make sure she was at least safe and it's a good thing he did.

Lynn wasn't wrong in her decision to break up with Nash. And I think it was also a bit of the kickstart he needed to realize that if he didn't change his ways and start opening up to her, then he was going to lose her forever. But Lynn also probably didn't choose the best time to break up with Nash since it seems she has more than one killer on her tail. The chemistry between Lynn and Nash is top notch and I had a hard time seeing how this woman could think the two of them weren't perfect together. But I also understood her frustration that Nash was refusing to share all of himself with her. Plus, he didn't exactly have a safe job. Although, hers didn't end up being all that safe either.

This was another top-notch read from Juno Rushdan and it's an A+ to add to Harlequin's extensive collection of great novels. I think this may be my favorite novel by Juno Rushdan so far. So I really can't wait for her next one because it seems as if they are just getting better and better all the time! If you're a fan of romantic suspense, this is going to be one you certainly don't want to miss!

I just love how she’ll only need a cane for a few days with her severed tendons. (Insert sarcasm)
Somethings seem really well researched or the author has a lot of personal knowledge about some aspects of things but other topics are way off.

This book took me a long time to read due to a very long break I took part way through. It was very hard at first for me to even try to force myself to read a romance where the hero is in law enforcement (FBI) with a history of excessive force (literally in his record). It turned me off, and seemed to read poorly in the political climate of our country.
Thankfully after my approximate 10 month reading break I’d forgotten that aspect of the story (thankfully I’d remember the main plot points) and really did end up liking the hero.

I liked the heroine just fine from the get ho but when she was being chased she suddenly became TSTL. Thankfully that didn’t seem to last long.

These two were already in love but had split due to commitment issues and needs not being met (yeah for healthy breakups). So it was more about them reconnecting and not falling in love. Which all of that was fine, but there was no sex, not even implied or closed door. I feel like HI has changed their formula. This in the second HI I’ve read recently where there is no sex. I really want that connection between my characters, something more than a peck in the lips at least. If Harlequin readers want intrigue and suspense without sex they can read the Love Inspired line.

With a fast pace like a runaway train, this book captured my attention from the beginning and even had a gut-wrenching scene at the end of the book! Total adrenaline rush from page one! Lynn Delgado is a therapist whose life is being threatened and her would-be male suitor, FBI agent Nash Garner, wants nothing more than to keep her safe and in his arms. Lynn doesn’t know where the threats are coming from, but she knows they are real. Nash suspects that a serial killer has targeted her and wants to catch TRK before he murders Lynn as he has other women. The cat and mouse chase is on as Nash gets close to discovering the truth only to be thwarted in his efforts by legal loopholes like warrants. The danger is real as Lynn has to flee for her life repeatedly while Nash is trying to find out who is writing her threatening notes and trying to kill her. I enjoyed the fast pace, the dynamically moving plot and the red herrings that laid down a false trail for me to follow. I especially enjoyed the interactions between Lynn and Nash and her reluctance to accept his love for her and to trust him. The characters were credibly portrayed and easy to like and the genuine emotion that they showed during the tense action was riveting. This is an intriguing book with intense, non-stop action that makes it a page turner and an edgy, fast read.

Wyoming Winter Rescue is the first book in the Cowboy State Lawmen series by Juno Rushdan. I have come to expect great books from this author, and this one certainly doesn't disappoint. The book begins with a bang and is action-packed all the way to the finish. Lynn is a therapist that has a lot happening in her life. Nash her ex-boyfriend is an FBI agent, and the chemistry between them is off the charts. He will do whatever it takes to protect her, even if he has to die doing it. I read this book in one setting I couldn't put it down. I most definitely would recommend this book to everyone. I received an ARC from the author and publisher, this is my fair and honest review. The opinions stated here are my own.

I’ve been a fan of Juno Rushdan’s romantic suspense books for quite a while now, so of course I was elated to see that she had a new series coming out, supposedly all set in Wyoming. Not only does it have all the action and suspense that I’ve come to expect, but it’s also a second chance romance!

Lynn’s a psychotherapist so she knows very well that people can’t change unless they want to. Frustrated with her FBI boyfriend Nash’s long working hours and refusal to open up to her, she dumps him. Nash, confused and certain that they can work it out, shows up at her office only to find one of Lynn’s former patients threatening her with a gun, but is too late to prevent Lynn from shooting him in self-defense. Even shaken by the incident, Lynn still refuses to accept Nash’s apologies and cuts contact completely. But the shooter is just the first part of a plot with her as the target. With an unknown threat hanging over them, will Lynn give Nash a second chance at protecting her and her heart?

“Getting things right the first time wasn’t his forte, but he was a quick learner and never made the same mistake twice.”

Nash was raised that the best way to show others you care was with your actions, not words. His childhood, his time in the army, and his FBI job have all taught him to compartmentalize his feelings and he can’t understand why Lynn is so hung up on him being “emotionally unavailable.” Deep down, he’s afraid that opening up and showing Lynn all his messy feelings and traumas will lead to her pitying him, or even worse, rejecting him. But he knows she’s the only one for him and he’ll do anything to get her back.

“I can’t be with someone who won’t talk to me,” she said. “Who hides their past and their emotions. I told you it was a deal breaker and you didn’t care.”
It wasn’t that he didn’t care. “Compared to everything else going on,” he said, thinking about his job, putting away criminals, “it didn’t seem like a big deal.” He watched a different kind of pain fill her eyes, and he regretted the words. “I mean I thought I had more time to work on it.”

Lynn can’t deny that she loves Nash but she’s tired of him avoiding anything emotional in their relationship. The added whammy of her guilt over the shooting plus a handful of threatening letters make her want to seek him out for comfort, but she knows it’ll only prolong the pain of getting over their relationship. Forced back into contact with him because of more attacks against her, his attempts to rekindle their relationship, to fall back into their old patterns are tempting. But if Nash isn’t willing to do the work, what’s the point?

I’m a big fan of the second chance trope so naturally I’ve read a ton of them. It was a nice change of pace to have the attempt at a second chance come immediately after the breakup. The book is mainly from Lynn and Nash’s POVs so it was interesting to see both of their perspectives. I spent a lot of time wanting to smack Nash upside the head for completely disregarding Lynn’s need for more communication in their relationship, though by the end of the book I was satisfied that he now understood why it was so important to her. It is a closed door book, which I was not expecting from this author.

As for the suspense, the plot moves along quickly and with plenty of action. There were a few eyebrow-raising moments (yes, going off to a remote inn in a blizzard while a serial killer may be stalking you is a GREAT idea) but for the most part the plot was believable and nicely twisty. I read the book in almost one sitting because I was so wrapped up in the plot.

Overall, another great romantic suspense from the author, and I’m very much looking forward to the rest of this series!

I received an advance review copy of this book from the author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I liked this well enough and would read more from the author.

This has been a crazy week and I’ve had to put book down due to life stuff. I may have done that anyway since the first half of the book wasn’t super suspenseful. After the weird guy was found in Lynn’s car, the pacing slows down.

The reason this wasn’t a higher rating is because it features my romance pet peeve: too much time apart. Yes it’s second chance but they were together more at the last third of the books. I would have liked more interaction but the ending made up for it. Rushdan’s dialogue is excellent and the times we had between the main characters were great.

The overall mystery was interesting. Juno’s use of red herrings definitely made readers feel like we knew exactly where it was but I think ending was more shocking because it end up being a character I forgot about lol.

If you are looking for breakneck pacing, this isn’t the best example from Intrigue but the emotional arc between characters was great.

Disappointing. I usually enjoy this author's books, but this one fell flat for me. I realized as I was reading the problem was the heroine; she never became more than a name on the page for me. The hero was a stock character but he made sense as a person and I knew how he felt and what kind of person he was. The heroine stayed a blank, in part because she never talked to friends or family, interacted with a pet, or anything. When she went on vacation with her best friend I realized she'd never called that friend to talk about things, never hung out with her after work, the other girl just appeared out of mid air. I know these books have a strict word limit, but I really needed a few interactions to make the MC come alive. As she never did, the story didn't work for me.

Not to mention I'm happy to suspend some disbelief when I read a story like this, but I do like a bit of reality to hold on to. 2 sad stars

When I saw the “Danger Zone” prompt, I immediately thought of my stash of Juno Rushdan books. Her action-packed thrillers tend to be brimming over with narrow escapes and plenty of plot, and Wyoming Winter Rescue definitely did not disappoint on that score.

Because her suspense plots tend to pack in a lot of action, I’ve noticed that the best of Ms. Rushdan’s books involve characters who have some kind of history before the opening of the book. It’s hard to develop a romance from scratch when you’re tying together lots of plot threads, so I think it helps if there’s already some kind of rapport between the leads for the author to use as a starting point. In this case, Lynn Delgado and Nash Garner had dated previously, so there’s already that tension between them when they get thrown together.

The story throws readers into the action right away. Lynn Delgado is a psychotherapist, and the novel opens with a patient of hers becoming violent in the midst of a crisis. As someone who was worked with folks who are severely mentally ill, I found this scene very upsetting. It does tie into the overall plot of the book, but I have to admit that I wished it had been handled differently because it was quite triggering.

Several weeks later, Lynn is held hostage by a man in her car. This episode is seemingly unrelated to the traumatic encounter at her office, but pulls Lynn into a larger overall hunt for a serial killer who has been abducting women. He seems to have Lynn in his sights, and when the FBI is called in, Nash is determined to protect Lynn.

Whoah what a ride..lynn had a lot against her...so many twists it was a wonderfully written suspense to keep you on edge until the last page.

Lynn wants to break her with Nash because he is not as open with her as she would like but the same night a patient of her tries to kill her..then she receives threatening letter...no matter how much she wants to solve everything alone, telling everyone she is fine, she is not and Nash sees right through her facade and he is determined to protect her.

Nash is a former military; now in the FBI he wants to protect everyone but those he loves even more. What he did not expect what to fight to show Lynn how much he cares because he showed her but did not say the words. When Lynn is in danger he will do everything to protect her even risking his life.

I loved Nash immediately he is not used to use words but he sure show how much he cares and i was angry with Lynn for not seeing it. Then she was confronted to so many obstacles i kind of admire her persistance.

This investigation was full of twists, sub plots and tension it was fabulous. I can't wait to learn more about the other charathers like Holden and what happenned in teh sherrif department as we get information about some events but i would love to learn more.
A promising start for a great series

I have love every Juno Rushdan book I have read. Wyoming Winter Rescue (Cowboy State Lawmen Book 1) published by Harlequin Intrigue is no different. Dedicated psychotherapist Lynn Delgado is struggling concerning a terrible event that has happened. Still she has broken it off with FBI agent Nash Garner. He is a great guy but emotionally unavailable. Then the unthinkable happens. Nothing like the woman you love to be in the direct line of danger to change you view on relationships. I like that this is not an instant love, it is more of a second chance or not giving up on the one you love story.

Wyoming Winter Rescue by Juno Rushdan has a quick build up suspense with the villain to be a complete surprise. So needless to say this story has several unexpected twists and turns. There is even a “Oh, wow, I didn’t see that coming!” turn in the story. This is what this author does best – just when you think you have it all sorted and solved, the twist comes.

Romantic suspense readers will love this book. I know I did. If you enjoy authors such as Pamela Clare or Kaylea Cross, you will love Juno Rushdan.

The publisher/author gave me a complimentary ARC of the book which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

4.5 stars!

As a self-proclaimed romantic suspense junkie, I’m officially a hard-core Juno Rushdan fan at this point. I simply haven’t found a book of hers that I didn’t devour in only a few hours. This book kicks off her newest series, and I’m already hooked and can’t wait for all the books to release. With plenty of action and suspense, it grabbed me right away, sucked me in, and wouldn’t let me go until the end. There’s less steam in this one than in other books of hers, but it’s because the characters stay authentic to the plot, and I didn’t think that was necessarily a bad thing. I liked that she mixed it up a bit by doing this. My only complaint (if you’d call it that) is I was able to figure out the whodunnit before the big reveal. But it wasn’t an easy task. I admit I had to ponder all the clues for a while before coming to my conclusion.

Wyoming Winter Rescue is just one more reason I reach for Juno Rushdan’s books when I’m looking for well-written romantic suspense. She’s thoroughly cemented herself as a great romantic suspense author and ranks among the top of my automatic 1-click authors’ list.

This is the 1st book in the new romance suspense mystery series “Cowboy State Lawmen” by Juno Rushdan. This is an easy quick read that is entertaining, action packed, drama filled, page turner, suspenseful, serial killer, great characters and an awesome plot that kept me enthralled to the last page. Lynn is a psychotherapist and Nash is ex-military and now working for the FBI and he not sharing his feelings with Lynn. The two parted ways; Nash isn’t feeling the parting of ways and he has been watching Lynn making sure she is safe. Someone is sending Lynn threatening notes. Lynn is leaving her and the unthinkable happens to her just as and she is kidnapped at gunpoint. So, the readers go on a journey to find out who is behind the kidnapping with Nash in hot pursuit.

To find out what happens next in this suspenseful romance don’t forget to pick your cop. You will not be disappointed and I you will enjoy reading about Lynn and Nash as much I did.

I received an ARC via Juno Rushdan and I am leaving my review voluntarily.

Lourdes “Lynn & Lola” Delgado. Lynn is known by Lola to her family. She moved to Laramie Wyoming to help take care of her ill aunt. Lynn is trying to get over her recent boyfriend. Nash Garner is a person who learns from his mistake. He wants a second chance with the girlfriend who recently broke up with him. Nash just may get his wish only not the way he’d wanted. When danger comes into Lynn’s life, she’ll have to rely on her former boyfriend a Special Agent for the FBI to protect her and Nash will do anything to keep her safe. He just may be the one to come to her Wyoming Winter Rescue.

Wyoming Winter Rescue is the first book in Juno Rushdan’s new series Cowboy State Lawman. A woman must work her with the ex-boyfriend who wants to get back together. A man who learns from his mistakes and puts his career as a FBI agent first just maybe the person she needs to keep her alive and figure out who is behind her recent attacks. Wyoming Winter Rescue is a suspenseful, romantic story of two recently broken up people possibly finding their way back to each other through the danger surrounding one of them. They’ll need to figure out whether the danger Is from a serial killer of from some other source. Juno Rushdan keeps the reader on the edge of their seat from the beginning of the book until the end with a twist that this reader didn’t see coming. Wyoming Winter Rescue is a high risk, suspense filled read with twists, turns, and danger around almost every corner showing just how courageous these characters are. I am so looking forward to the rest of the Cowboy State Lawman series and the next book Wyoming Christmas Stalker. Who will be next to find danger and love in this series full of suspense. way through tragic events and come out the other side while trying to figure out the relationship.

Lynn is a psychotherapist who was attacked by a patient and now dealing with alot of issues about it which also lead to her breaking up with Nash Garner local lawman. Now it seems a serial killer is after her and Nash will do everything he can to protect her.

I love suspense novels and this book was perfect for that. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next and when then person would strike next and why. Then theres the old feelings that Lynn and Nash are working through especially since she's the one who broke it off and Nash just had to stay on the sidelines L as he waited for her to change my mind. I loved that Nash did everything he can to protect her even if she was the one who broke things off he could've been bitter about it but he wanted her back and its a good thing he's been keeping an eye out for her and I loved watching all the happenings throughout the book. Really enjoyed it.

I love Juno Rushdan Intrigues, so I was excited to settle in with her newest. She didn't disappoint! The book starts with a bang and keeps the pace through to the exciting end. Lynn is a therapist who is having trouble getting the man she loves to talk to her. Nash is ex-military turned FBI and isn't into sharing his feelings or his past. Lynn, unable to deal with that, breaks up with Nash...at the worst possible time. Luckily for her, Nash doesn't agree with the breakup and is keeping watch on her when she's kidnapped at gunpoint in her car.

What happens next is a twisted tale of deceit, mistrust, being hunted by an unknown assailant, and falling in love with the man determined to keep you alive.

Once again, Juno has written an intriguing, action-packed book for her fans to enjoy!

This book was intense. From start to finish it was action-packed. Our worst nightmare is having someone enter your place of work with a gun. The book starts out with a patient walking into Lynn office with a gun. My guess is she is a psychiatrist. She pushed a hidden panic button but knew the police would not arrive in time. She tried to talk to her patient, but he shot her co-worker. She had to protect herself and everyone in the office at that point.

After that she becomes a target. This was also a great second chance romance. Right before her patient walked in, she had broken up with her boyfriend Nash. He is an FBI agent. Now she gets to see what he really does at work, as he works to protect her, and find out who is after her.
Excellent book that kept me entertained by all the twist and turns of the story.

The first book in the Cowboy State Lawmen series sets the stage really well. This little town has a lot of secrets.

Nash and Lynn's story is a doozy. It jumps right into action on page one and never lets up. What I found interesting is Lynn's character is a therapist and is all about talking through your feelings, yet she is the one, the entire story, who is running away from her feelings and Nash.

I definitely did not see the twist coming and those page turning events towards the end of the book had me enthralled.

The cast of supporting characters is top notch and I'm sure some of them will have their own stories soon. This one is a keeper.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.

Done with Nash not sharing his emotions and his perpetual lateness, psychotherapist Lynn Delgado breaks up with him over the phone. As Lynn heads out her office door, she is confronted by a former patient with a gun. From that opening to a harrowing flight from a killer in a blizzard, the story is action-packed. In some scenes, I was so pulled into the story that I wanted to hide from the danger, but the story kept me riveted. I received a free copy of this ebook from the author. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. I love Lynn's strength in untenable situations. I also love how Nash is on a mission to keep her safe and to stay in her life. Be prepared to go without sleep in order to finish this book. Juno Rushdan has quickly become one of my favorite authors.

A violent confrontation with her patient has put psychotherapist Lynn Delgado in a fear and guilt situation, and her worst nightmare has just begun! Would her ex-boyfriend lawman Nash come to her rescue?
Wyoming Winter Rescue by Juno Rushdan is another high-octane romantic suspense that is jam-packed with action, suspense and romance. It is heart-pounding, unstoppable and unputdownable from beginning till the end!
The prolific and talented Juno Rushdan has nailed it again with her new Cowboy State Lawmen series, starts with Book 1 Wyoming Winter Rescue. I highly recommend it to readers who enjoy reading action-packed romantic suspense.

The first in another series from Juno Rushdan. When a patient storms the clinic where she works, Lynn has to do the unthinkable. She thinks that things can't get any worse, but then she is taken hostage by a suspected serial killer, fortunately she gets away with some quick thinking. Fortunately her friend has booked a cabin so she can not only get away from the danger but also from her failed relationship with Nash an FBI agent. But the danger follows her as does Nash, because he will do anything to keep her safe and get her back. This was an edge of the seat read with a surprise. Really great read.
I received a copy of this book from the author to review.

I received this book in an author giveaway.
I enjoyed the many tense moments with little twists and lots of danger to overcome.
Lynn Delgado is a strong woman but finally realizes she needs some help to keep her safe.
Nash has made sure she will be safe by going above and beyond, using his past military training and current lawman position to save her from many attempts on her life. At the same time he is trying to convince her his love for her is true.
In addition to the romance, it was very challenging to guess the culprits causing Lynn's troubles, as there were several. We are kept in suspense till the very end of this very entertaining book.

For Juno Rushdan fans, she has done it again. This book is a can't put down book that keeps you guessing until the very last page. Lynn Delgado is being threatened not only by someone trying to kill her but also someone sending her anonymous threatening letters. Nash Garner is right there by her side, even though she doesn't always want him to be, taking care of her and trying to solve the mysteries. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and you will too. Can't wait until the next book in the series comes out. Thank you, Juno Rushdan, for sharing your writing talents with us.

I love Juno Rushdan! A start to a new series introductions to (almost) all the future main characters. This is one exciting book, it's a quick read and very satisfying. It's fade to black.
Serial killer? Someone out for revenge? Or is it both? All Nash cares about is keeping Lynn alive. Lynn is still trying to get over the patient who almost killed her and she had to defend herself when threatening letters start coming in the mail and then she's targeted by a serial killer.
It's an intense read.

Even though I figured out who the "bad guy" was about midway through the book, I still had to figure out how Nash and Lynn would get out of the mess they were in! This book had so much danger and action, I wondered how it would happen! I couldn't put this book down! It was very good! Lynn is a psychotherapist and has a murderous patient! What to do? She has to end her relationship with lawman, Nash Garner, because of HIS dangerous job but then SHE is the one who ends up in danger! Ironic! I loved the blizzard rescue that Nash braves to save Lynn as a serial killer closes in.

Lynn waiting once again for Nash, to breaking up with him over the phone.
Leaving late, her senses and fear, a man with a gun had gotten into the building.
Fear was taking over, she had to think, was there an office open.
Guilt and learning how to protect herself now was foremost in her mind.
When once again she is in a flight from a madman and a blizzard.
A good plot also of their relationship, in a story written to capture us.
Given arc for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
