nothing happening forreal
I tried to read this series, I even finished book one. But when Kenzie started having sex with chase again I was over it from there. How you gone try to make the heroine of the book seem like she has some sense just to have her turn around and do something stupid? Her and chase should have NEVER started having sex again. If the point was for her and Malachi (whatever his name is) to end up together why didn’t the story really focus on them building their relationship? I didn’t too much care for any of them except for the married babymama and she wasn’t even apart of the story lol. Also we didn’t need to know everytime they took showers and released their bladder, that got soooo f’n irritating. Everytime they changed clothes we had to get a description. The story seemed immature and I can’t and won’t finish it. Plus from reading other reviews it’s gone be a part 4 like come on we barely making it through 1/2.

Great Read
Diane is a fool to keep dealing with Chase. She knows he's in love with McKenzie and now that McKenzie have his children. Diane see that Chase respect for her is constantly dwindle. I do feel sorry for her because she's lost two babies but she need to move on from Chase. She'll never have him the way that she wants to. I was glad McKenzie aunt Veronica slapped Chase mother. His mother was too damn disrespectful. Chase need to realize he lost McKenzie because of his lies. It seems Tyrese and Aniyah got some animosity towards McKenzie and I believe it is because McKenzie father is more wealthy than their father. The both seem jealous which is pitiful because she's their little sister. Aniyah jealousy stems from McKenzie having a brother and father who makes sure she's spoiled and the type of men her little sister has had. She almost cost McKenzie and her babies their lives behind her jealousy. It's nobody fault but her own. After Aniyah caught Quan with Shavon trifling ass. She still chose to stay with him. I lost respect for their mother too. Something is wrong with that woman. McKenzie got her life together to be so young. I was truly rooting for her and Malakai but Malakai business got in the way. How long is the wait???!!!!!
This book just as part 1 was everything from the beginning to the end. I love Kenzie’s character, she keeps it real no matter what. I will say, although I understand she’s been through a world of hurt when it comes to the men in which she gave her heart too but she’s showed her true age when she lashed out at Malakia when he told her that he had to leave her for the safety of her and the twins. I could understand the betrayal she must felt but at the same time, she should have realized how much he loved her by thinking of her safety and that of her kids as well as his own. Also, I don’t like it how she keeps letting Chase dumb as run up in her, but I get it. Shavon, smh she’s a whole damn mess. How you that fucked up and jealous that you sleep with your cousins man knowing what he put your cousin through. Diana, I don’t like how she be coming for Kenzie to Chase but who can blame her. However, she’s dumb as fuck because there is not way I would put up with Chase shit. I don’t care how much family and history she has or doesn’t have. I can’t wait to see how everything unfolds. Jealousy And Envy Will Cause Unnecessary Problems
Kevina, Kevina, I thought that first cliffhanger had me crazy, man you just had to do me bad with this part 2. It just gets gooder and gooder.🤗. I really appreciate you allowing McKenzie to grow into a fierce woman that has tackled each situation thrown at her with style, grace and all around grown up. Her pain she experienced she endured without making it into a worse situation that it needed to be.
Aniyah has so much to learn about navigating life, and just being okay in her own skin and just love herself enough to understand she doesn't have to settle just because.
Malakia, is still in my opinion a stand up man, I get upset by some of his actions but I get why he does what he does. He loves his children and McKenzie with his whole heart, and he will do any and all things to keep them safe.
Chase to me is a poor excuse of a man, he is so spoiled he thinks he can do whatever he wants with no consequences behind his actions. I'm so glad Diane is finally learning to love herself. She deserves to have true happiness in her life.
I can't wait for part 3, I hope it's the finale cause chile, I can't take to much more. 🤗🤗🤗🤗 Great Job!!!

Part Three Please!!!
I promise you if you read this series by Kevina Hopkins then you're gonna want to go back and read everything else she's written. I love Blaze but I think he should have found a better solution than letting Kenzie go because now he may never get the chance to make it up to her. If he do it ain't gonna be easy cause Tasia and Kim gonna throw a whole lot of salt in the game. I'm about sick of Chase cause he's a walking contradiction. He wants Kenzie but he can't be faithful, he act like he doesn't want Diane but don't want her with no one else. I wonder how he gonna feel when he find out Diane gave away the cookies. What he should be worried about is Shavon lil nasty behind. She gonna be a big problem. 💚💚

I need part 3 asap! Poor Kenzie, Everytime she finds happiness it’s snatched away. I understand Blaze was trying to protect her, but it felt like it was an excuse to sleep with other women while he handled business. Chase is a hot mess and Diane I have no words for her. Don’t be mad at Kenzie, be mad at your man. He’s for the streets. Chase is only doing what she has allowed him to do. The cliff hanger though…. Is Chase going to get hurt or arrested at the club? Is Blaze okay? Will Diane cousin end up pregnant from Chase or his friend? So many question’s left to be answered.

The whole family is in town and the baby shower is a success. The twins are early when an accident occurs with Kenzie, Tori, Charmaine and Anyia head to Target. Quantity is busted messing with Shavon! Aniya’s sister and Kenzie’s stepsister! Can u say lowdown! Kenzie and Blaze are official and life is good. Anyia forgives Quran and runs off secretly, gets married and now you know what comes next. Kenzie forgives her sister but ANYIA is a hater and hopefully she can get that jealous streak out of her head. As I sit here with my eyes burning it is 9am I have been up all night I could not but this series 1 and 2 down Kevina is just a beast at what she does I can't wait for book 3 I will say I wish Chase would have beat the hell out of Diane's Slut of a cousin I pray she's not pregnant I actually like Chase I just don't feel he's right for Makenzie because he just can't get it right and I don't think he ever will Diane I don't like her either she plays the sympathy card with Chase she knows he doesn't want her a** and Malakai I love him for Makenzie but I'm a little disappointed with him I mean why would you sleep with Kim and tasia he should have been stronger than that BUT he's still the better pick for Makenzie. I must say this series really kept me on my toes and that's what I look for in a series 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 good job Kevina Hopkins

This book pick right where part 1 left off. I can't wait for part 3. I could not put this book down. This story grabs your interest and keeps it. I recommend this book to read. Diane is so dumb, naive and foolish. Self-love is not selfish; you cannot truly love another until you know how to love yourself. Diane and Chase mama need to find something safe to do. Aniyah have such a jealous spirit and needed to learn self love. McKenzie acted so naive and dumb at times like she needed Chase no good a$$. I’m rooting for Malakai and I hope he had on a bulletproof vest. We about to see McKenzie act like a beast behind Malakai!

Chase and his Mom did absolutely too much...Chase definitely wanted his cake and too easy it too...Kenzie should have allowed Martez to beat Chase the way he carried on... he did to much knowing he wasn't going to leave Diane alone...Diane's jealousywas too much for Chade to deal with and helped push him in the arms of other women because she didn't want to please him or allow him to please her..Aniyah jealousy allowed her to make some real bad mistakes....I think Blaze should have allowed Kenzie to wait on him... but I hope he makes it back to her in one piece....

These cliffhangers are going to kill me . I really can’t take it but Kenzie and Blaze are making me crazy, just as they decided to make a go for it life happens and he has to make the bars choice to leave Kenzie and the twins to ensure theirs safety. I promise it was hard reading bcz that’s just how it is I’m hopeful they will be reunited and if not I will just be devastated. This is a great story but will definitely have you emotionally unraveling.

This was a different ride than the first. Once again I can’t hate chase. He stuck in a situationship out of obligation. But because he not fixing anything the results will be different than he expected. I not even gonna be sorry for his ass. I hope Diane moved in a way that makes her happy. I love MK’s character. She know what she wants and needs and is not afraid to act accordingly. I hope Kai okay because if something happens to him shit ain’t gonna be the same.

And now to find out Blaze was sleeping with Tasia!? This is going to cause so much confusion and friction if and when these two get back together!!! So Blaze have to pull through cause we need all the drama and the smoke!!!!

I so hoped Kenzie and Blaze were about to have a care free relationship and marriage but oh was I wrong … can’t get to a wedding when u breakup right as the relationship gets started … and about Kenzie’s sister I’m glad they are starting to get back on track but I don’t care for her jealous self… I can’t wait to see what happens with blaze’s situation

It was a good book. Interesting story line but the actual writing was a bit lackluster. For example, it would "It took me 5 minutes to drive up the driveway. all the foreign cars i saw were nice. I parked my car and got out. I walked to the door and knocked..." etc. In some places it adds more words and I did find myself skipping paragraphs. Overall though I do like the series and will be continuing. Gotta know what happens with Blaze!!!

Chase is beyond confused leading Diane on and still wanting McKenzie. I hate how Kenzie’s sister and brother by her mom treat her. They are some uncover enemies too. Then the mom’s husband Ricky is a low life as well. I see why she left to be either her dad and other brother. I hate how Blaze has to leave but I understand. I can’t believe he was shot and I know he has too pull through. Kenzie has to end up with Blaze not Chase community D self.

Aniyah oh Aniyah girl fix ur life by book 3 and Shavon she doing the absolute most. Kevina please spare Blaze for book 3 I really need Kenzie and Blaze to get married and have more kids together.
