Salem Gregg is not girlfriend material. Basically a live-in nanny for her lazy older sister’s kid, she’s the girl guys call when they have nothing better to do. Her grades are in the toilet, her lunatic mother just threw her out, and her best friend bailed to chase a concert tour.

She worked her way through college in restaurants, hospitals, factories, and everything in between, finally graduating summa cum laude from the University of Washington after an absurdly long time.
