This is the 1st book in the Vengeance series featuring Viper and Dele's deliciously dark and twisted romance. Viper and Dele have a complicated past they've both tried to kill each other and she left him for dead. Next his wife died on Dele's watch and the ultimate betrayal she then steals his children from him and goes on the run into hiding. I have never given up on my need for vengeance and once Viper found Dele again that's exactly what he was planning on doing until she convinces me otherwise. Dele tells me that she'll help me take over the corrupt bilion-dollar empire that our enemies run this way we'll also have the added bonus of eliminating all of our enemies all at once. All I know is that Dele better not even think of going anywhere since I've already let her go twice one time I had to and the other time I chose to that's it no more. I hope that she's ready for a fight I'm looking forward to it. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this delightfully dark and twisted story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

I won't even bother going through my notes to write a review. I'm abandoning this series here. I had completely different expectations after seeing it on TikTok. While the book has many issues (I actually dislike this niche, but I tried hoping this would be more palatable), it is decidedly an amalgamation of everything I dislike about 'dark romances'.

Poor proofreading

Good story line. More than just a steamy read. But with a plot. I'm thinking you didn't have any proofreading done, or changes didn't get applied to the finished book.

this author should be so lucky i’m a wattpad girly because the amount of typos in this book was actually criminal. im talking writing in the wrong pov typo. writing in the third person typo. the plot was really good tho so i will be tuning in.
