Thor and Ella

Thor has just served three tours of duty and then went undercover in a rival club now he’s patched into the Dark Slayers MC. One of his first jobs is to check out the wedding of a mafia don’s nephew. That’s when Ella comes into play. She is being forced to marry in order to bring two mafia families together. She wants nothing to do with this arranged marriage. Thor comes to the rescue.

This was a fast-paced action filled book in the Dark Slayers MC series which I have come to love.

At first, I was really disappointed because I wanted Thor to end up with Renegade's sister. I feel really bad for her, and I realize it's probably more realistic tgis way, but I wanted him with her.

I do really like Thor with Ella. I think their relationship developed well, and I like them both a lot.

I hated that Thor was almost with Amber, and I think she should be kicked out. She's way inappropriate. Are there even any other bunnies anymore? I think having them there at all is gross, and none of the old ladies should be okay with them being there. I don't know why Teeny is friends with her or why his woman is okay with that. It makes no sense. Amber is gross, manipulative, and horrible. I hope she doesn't end up with anyone.

I'm disappointed that it showed Amber and Blade together sexually in this book since he's getting his live story next. Having scenes that is no better than outside the relationship sex in books, which should never occur in romance books but does. I barely look forward to the next book because of this.

If you take out Thor nearly being with Amber at the beginning and being previously promiscuous and not shy about that and then also take out Amber with Blade and also the dumb idea to leave Ella in a town with no guard, the book was pretty good. They seemed to really love each other. They had decent senses of humor, good personalities, and loved pie. There was an HEA. Lots of god things.

BUT...the editing was horrible or non-existent. Sophia became Stephanie for a while? Which name are we going with? Pick one. There were just so many mistakes. I edit content professionally. I would legit edit your next one for free. Just please edit and proofread or get someone to do it.

This is the eighth book in the Dark Slayers MC series and it's another full-on sexy hit. This book starts out with Thor becoming a fully patched member of the Dark Slayers MC because of his undercover work with the Twisted Metal MC. The Dark Slayers MC were dealing with quite a few things, everything hitting them from all angles. Originally they had to deal with a cult who were brainwashing and kidnapping college students. Next they have a rival MC, the Twisted Metal, coming into their town who they find out are being backed by the mafia who want to move into the area for their drug trade as well as forcing the townsfolk to pay for protection. The Slayers have already had a run in with the Twisted Metal and ended up killing quite a few of them as well as some of the mafia thugs. They also had the pleasure of meeting the nephew of the Diavonte mafia leader, one Antonio Diavonte. They nearly beat him to death and ended up dropping him off at the gates of his uncle's house, as courtesy and warning that Griffinsford was not as easy a target as they thought. Thor becomes a full member of the Dark Slayers without even having to prospect first because of the invaluable information he got while undercover while helping protect and rescue Renegade's sister and Teeny's "old lady." Once he's a member, Storm (President of the Dark Slayers) approaches him with another "job." Hacker, their intel guy, just found out that Antonio Diavonte is getting married; it's a golden opportunity for someone to blend into the background and gather valuable intel about the Diavonte allies as well as who's their rivals. This time however Thor will be accompanied by two Slayers, Coyote and Blade, unlike his solo mission infiltrating the Twisted Metal MC. Thor agrees to the job, but his hero complex is nagging him. He remembers that when he was with the Twisted Metal, he heard Antonio bragging to some guys how he was being given a bride and how he couldn't wait to break her. He was going to ruin her. Thor's protective nature comes out more when he sees a picture of the bride to be in the intel packet from Hacker. He sees a very young innocent woman, Eleonora Rossi, who has no idea what kind of treatment she's going to be facing at the hands of Antonio. Thor and the other two make it out to LA in time to setup surveillance on Antonio and his crew. In the meantime we are introduced to the bride to be, Eleonora, as she gets ready for a dinner party for which everyone is acting strange about. The dinner guest arrive and she introduced to Don Diavonte, his wife and his nephew, Antonio. At the end of the meal her parents spring on her that she is going to marry Antonio and it is already arranged. She immediately freaks out and tries to figure a way out of it because she's too young for this. She's only nineteen years old. She calls her best friend, Sophia, and she tells her that they'll figure something out. Eleonora goes out one night to have dinner with her grandmother, who she hopes to convince to be on her side against this arranged marriage. Her attempt is futile because her grandmother believes in arranged marriages, it's how families strengthen themselves, aligning with the right people. When she leaves the restaurant she decides to walk around and get some fresh air. She is approached by a blonde god of a man in a serviceman's uniform. He tells her that she shouldn't marry Antonio that he's a dangerous and deadly man. He also slips her a piece of paper that has his name and phone number. He instructs her to call him if she gets in trouble or wants to get away that he can protect her and get her out of there. The whole experience rattles her and the minute she gets in her chauffeured car she tosses the paper out of the window. The surveillance of Antonio kind of pays off because they have him on tape bragging how he's going to get rid of his uncle and takeover the whole operation. The wedding day comes and Eleonora hasn't found a way to escape yet and she's minutes away from walking down the aisle. Here's where I'll leave you and you'll have to read the book to discover what happens next. Does the norse god-like biker with the hero complex save the day and rescue the innocent damsel in distress? Will the mob move into Griffinsford and start a war with the Dark Slayers? Will the spark of attraction between Eleonora and Thor erupt into a full blown fire that could lead to dire consequences for either one of them or both? I can highly recommend this book for the gritty action, strong characters, handsome bada$$ heroes in leather, scorching passion and original well written storyline. This whole series is top notch and well worth getting because you will not be disappointed. Another five star read for the author, Aria Ray!.

Another interesting addition to this series, this brings Thor into the fold (he’d previously been seen in Teeny’s book but appeared to be on the other side) and once again the mafia storyline comes into play.

This time they are determined to derail the young nephews wedding, especially once they learn of his less than stellar habits with women.

Instalove almost on Thor’s side, it took Ella longer to warm up but the romance side was ultimately satisfying, if not a little frustrating with the crossed wires and assumptions. I got a little lost again with the Amber thing, she just now seems to be a character rolled out to cause some angst but there doesn’t seem to be rhyme or reasons at times. Both Ella and Thor came across as immature at times with the way they acted and some of the steamy scenes were a little formulaic rather than lost in the moment like but overall this was still a good read.

Storm surprised me and was portrayed as a little colder in this book, ready to wash his hands of Ella and not really caring what was happening to her at the mafias hands which I found at odds to his previous character I think.

A worthwhile read regardless though .

I cannot get enough of this series! Each book gets better and better and we get to learn more about each member on a more personal level. Thor is ex-military and has just come back from being undercover in the Twisted Metal MC. He has seen a lot and just wants to protect those who are innocent. Ella is a young girl who is being “offered” up to Antonio Diavonte who is a piece of crap who has no regards for women at all. Thor tries to warn Ella away from Antonio, but in her mind, he is a stranger and how dare he speak to her? Ella seems to be a spoiled, little “mafia” princess as she has always been lavished with gifts from her parents instead of love.

When Thor takes Ella from her wedding and starts spending time with her, his protective instincts kick in, his self-doubt about being good enough for her and his passion for her is a lot to take. Ella thinks she’s going from one criminal to another, until she gets to know Thor.

Darkness, depravity, instant-love, chaos, drama, misunderstandings, excitement and the sexiness will keep you up to find out what happens! I am looking forward to reading Blade’s story to see what kind of trouble he can get into!

The Slayers are back and this time it’s newly patched Thor’s turn to show up for our latest damsel Eleonora. Arranged to marry the demented Antonio Diavonte, she has Thor going off script when Storm sends him, Blade and Coyote to LA on a recon mission. Observe and report turns into a rescue and fall mission when he overhears Ella telling her friend Sophia how her betrothed choked and threatened her. 19 and naive of the ways of the world beyond her rose colored glasses Ella learns quickly the all you think or perceive to know isn’t always true. Take a trip back to Griffinsford and get to know the damaged, burly, hot biker Thor to see how he helps save the woman he doesn’t think he deserves, slaying and opening Ella’s eyes to many new and exciting things, (wink, wink).

Aria Ray continues this MC series making you fall for each biker harder than you did the last. If you haven’t read them yet, get into them now. While each can be read as a standalone, starting at the beginning would be more enjoyable as our main characters continue to appear.

Ray continues to write a good MC book. Thor is as tough as they come, loyal, and not afraid to speak his mind, he is a very passionate, tactile person. The man has the word Hot stamped on his forehead, and when he finds Eleonora, possessive and dominant are just a couple of the many words that describe him.

About the book:
Eleonora is a nineteen year old woman who has never wanted for anything in her life. She has been lead to believe her family is wealthy from all of her father's hard work as a financial/bank person. When she learns that she is going to have an arranged marriage to a monster/mobster, she starts to question everything.

Thor has been undercover for his club for months. When he finally is able to get the information he needs, he heads back to the Dark Slayers MC.

I recommend this book readers! I love this MC and have come to know the bonds of brotherhood, and family these men all share. .

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This book in the Dark Slayers MC series is about Thor and Ella. He has spent his life in service of the country or the MC. Thor finally gets his patch after being deep amidst their enemies. Storm sends him on another job that brings him in contact with Ella. She has lived in the dark about her family but now must fulfill her obligations whether she wants to or not. Lucky for her, Thor wants to save her from them. His loyalty is tested, her trust is growing as well as their attraction. This was not one of my favorites of the series. It was still a good story with plenty of danger, conflict, drama, enemies, suspense and emotions.

He and two other MC brothers go to the wedding to ru reconnaissance on the mafia family. When Ella decides to escape with the biker. The book is full of sizzle, steam, action, drama, and so much more. Great read and like all the Dark Slayer MC series, it's available on Kindle Unlimited.

Thor just patched in to the Slayers after three tours in the military and doing an undercover stint for the MC. Ella is a very sheltered, naïve young women who unknowingly grew up in a mafia family. Her parents have arranged for her to marry Antonia Diavonte, he made an appearance in an earlier book and isn't a good guy. Thor's protective instinct kicks in with Ella and he steps in when she runs from her wedding. Its a bit of insta-love although Thor doesn't think he is worthy of her and tries to push her away. Chaos ensues, tons of action, some steam makes this for a quick read.

When things heat up for the club, sends her away for her protection, when her fiancé comes back to collect her, will Thor be able to stop him?.

Thor recently got out of the military and Then he went undercover for his new brother the Dark Slayers against a rival MC. Now back in the club Storm has a new assignment for him the bad guy that was helping the rival MC is the nephew of a mob boss so they need information on him to keep him from coming back to their territory. By hacking him they have found out he’s getting married. Thor knows that this monster will hurt this girl. He’s going to have to save her that’s not what he was sent there for and he will get more then what expected. So enjoy this good read and see what happened between these two!!

I love the way Thor was willing to break some club rules just to help out Eleonora escape from her dreadful arrange marriage. It was enjoyable to see the dynamics between this couple and how they complete each other where it was needed most in the story. I also like seeing more of the members of the club and the amount of action in this story kept me invested to see how things would end for this couple and the club. .

Thor and Ella are great together, and this series is great. I was impressed the Thor did what he did, going against the MC, going against the mob, and getting many people angry. This is an action packed MC story with all that the MC entails. I loved Thor so strong and willing to do what it takes, Ella was likable and the interaction between the two was amazing. I was entertained from start to finish. I thought this was a great story.

Love this series. This is book 8 with Thor and Ella. Ella is running from her arranged wedding to Antonia Diavonte. Thor is undercover for the Dark Slayers MC and when he sees Ella run he grabs her to keep her from Antonia. Thor and Ella have amazing chemistry. Story has lots of action, adventure, and tons of steam between Ella and Thor. Find out if they get their HEA? Will the Mafia come after the Dark Slayers? Great story.

This is book eight of the Dark Slayers MC Series and is a great addition to this series. Thor was recently discharged from the military and had been working undercover at a rival club. His first job for the actual club doesn’t quite go the way it should. Problems include kidnapping the bride, removal of video hard drive, and boosting cars. Good read!.

I have mixed feelings about this book. The characters are great. I liked Thor and Ella and their chemistry and relationship. I liked the other MC characters. But the plot was choppy and you really need to read the previous books to understand all the dynamics. The ending was rushed. If you've read to other books in this series you will probably enjoy this. If you haven't, start at the beginning. .

Great!

I chose this rating because this was a pretty great book. I really enjoyed most all of the characters. This was a book of determination, compassion, arrogance, kindness, and doing what is best for you. I enjoy Thor and Eleanora story. I think the author did a great job with putting these two characters together. This book was well written and entertaining. Great read! I recommend to all romance readers and MC lovers.

Good stories with continuity issues .. and 5 out of 7 books . I have so far read, all have heroines that do things. That make them 2S2L just a heads up. I screamed at them . So apparently the author likes dumb girls who believe their individuality and headstrong independence is far more important than their lives or safety . Putting the men who live themselves and families at risk. Grrrr me personally I don’t like those ‘types”. But if you don’t mind. Great stories.

I got this as an arc for my honest review. Honestly after halfway through it I'd started having white highlights that made it hard to read so I started skipping those parts. After a while i ending up skipping through the whole book. I did read certain things but the white highlight parts in my arc made me keep skipping. From what I did read was very good and I enjoyed it.

Great read

I really enjoyed the main characters in this one. The banter and humour were great and they just fit so well together. It did leave a few too many threads hanging, and my curiosity is making me buy the next one right away so I can see what happens to the next couple, lol.

Mob princess

This story wasn't bad. I'm just not fixing these female characters. Ella wasn't bad. Yes she was innocent, and sheltered, but a lot better than phoebe was. Her family is in the mob, she been given to the hell out to get the slayers. Finally getting taken out. Age gap yet very readable.

I loved everything about this story. The princess in the ivory, her Knight on his noble steed slaying the dragons. I will not spoil it with detail but antonios last ditch attempt was wonderfully written as was the book. I have no negatives at all and would highly recommend
