Three: An MMMM Daddy Romance

Rate this book
All good things come in threes…

When three shy best friends sign up to a dating app to finally get some by the end of the year, they don’t expect to all fall for the same gorgeous, slightly scary-looking Daddy. The only solution? Let him choose who he wants to bed. Except he doesn’t…

Jacob didn’t become a billionaire before hitting thirty-five by making compromises. What he wants, he gets. So why should he choose between these adorable boys when he can devour all three? Instead, he tells them to decide on an order, and then he’ll spoil each of them one after the other in a way they’ll never forget.

Will one night each be enough? And can that really be all they need to fall in love? One thing’s for sure, when danger comes calling, this Daddy will discover just how far he’ll go to protect his three little piggies.

Three is a super steamy, standalone MMMM gay romance novella featuring a Daddy wolf ready to huff and puff his way into three hearts, best friends who discover something more between them, a box full of abandoned kittens, and a guaranteed HEA with absolutely no cliffhanger.

omg this book was everything!! 😭😭😭

This seems to be exactly the kind of Daddy romance that works best for me —several boys that are best friends and one Daddy who takes care of them all.

And these three boys were so freaking precious. Sam, Callum and Luke were already so close to each other, living together and loving each other. They already were a family. But there was something (or someone) missing for all of them that neither of them could give the others. They were all craving the same. A Daddy. And… finally loosing their virginity.

They each were actually looking for a Daddy for their own but signing up on a kinky app it turns out they are all interested in the profile of the same Daddy. They decide to message him and let him decide which of the boys he wants to meet. But Jacob, used to always getting what he wants doesn’t want to decide but want’s to take each of them on a little getaway and make their first time special and memorable.

And gawd he is an amazing Daddy. Sam, Callum and Luke are so very different in their needs but Jacob picks up on everything and gives them exactly what they need. Every one of their times with Jacob is so heartwarming to read. And hot.

Of course with a book that has not even 300 pages but a dynamic with four men, this is a high steam read and I loved it.

The dramatic ending that eventually brings them all together is a bit OTT but also so white-knight -ish, it was swoony as hell.

These boys were mine first, and they’ll always be mine in one way or another. I’m inside them, all over them. I’m their Daddy.
Forever.

So sweet. So tender. Highly recommended.

Sometimes it pays off to just trust your gr friends’ reviews - and read something that’s not been on your list so far.

In this case, I have to thank Kati and Vanna for making me pick up my first MMMM book - and it turned out to be surprisingly good.

It’s not a “classical” MMMM dynamic - on one side, we have 3 close friends, Sam, Calumn and Luke, all three in their twenties, who all have a daddy kink. And who are virgins, technically speaking at least - they have a varying degree of experience when it comes to kissing, or even the occasional blowjob.

On the other side, we have Jacob, a slightly bored billionaire who’s looking for a boy to look after. He makes an account on a daddy-kink-app, and is intrigued by the message the three friends send him. He agrees to see them separately, giving each of them exactly what they crave for.

To his surprise, he’s attracted to all of them, even though they’re very different, and have different needs.

The book is… cute. Wholesome. Not all of the kinks are my cup of tea tbh, I could do without the whole humiliation thing Calumn loves, but as long as it’s consensual (and it is - I loved how Jacob made sure to check in with them) it’s not my place to judge what makes others happy 😬

4 wholesome, happy stars from me.

This was not my cup of tea. I'm a fan of daddy kink, but in my opinion, this was daddy kink done wrong and cringey; add in the insta-love and I'm out.

It's hard to decide if the super cute story was super lovely or super annoying. I'm going for lovely, because the boys simply deserved it. And the author managed to give the four MCs so much love and equality that I'm really impressed. It's hard in poly or harem stories to find so much equality in plot share and love from the other characters for each other. My only complaint is that it's a bit too insta-ish. Maybe it could have been given a few more pages to make it more realistic, but that's my standard complaint with poly stories. 😏

Three very different best friends who love each other search for the perfect Daddy for each one of them. And a Daddy who is looking for a boy who will fulfill him and whom he can spoil rotten.

I’m craving a sweet soul to boss around. I need someone who needs me. Desperately. For everything. Even just thinking about it makes my skin tingle. 😳

It's beautiful how Daddy responds to the needs on each of his boys.

Sam: He swallows, then looks me in the eye. There’s a hint of defiance there. “Does it bother you that I’m not small?” 🥺

Callum: I struggle to keep the amusement off my face. I was expecting a self-assured little brat. Not a human hurricane. 😲

Luke: Having his hands on me is surprisingly soothing. I like how he guides and moves me. This is why I need a Daddy. When someone I trust takes charge, everything becomes so much better. 😍

And so lovely, when they fall in love with each other.

4 Loved this sweet and kinky Daddy story!! ❤️❤️❤️ This was a riveting read for me, I just couldn’t keep it down and finished it in one day.. 😍 It is of course a Daddy boy story, but instead of 1 boy there are 3 adorable young men who all want a Daddy but have quite different personalities and temperaments. Can one Daddy have it all? Yes he can, and that Daddy is Jacob Wolf, a self-made billionaire who wants something more fulfilling in his life. This is also a reimagining of the fairy tale the three little pigs; but here the Daddy wolf huffs and puffs and gets all the piggies to stay with him 😍
It is wonderfully written keeping in mind the issues with poly romances where one of MCs can feel left out. Here the boys get love and attention from their Daddy at an individual level and form a bond before they all have their HEA together.
I enjoyed this sweet, steamy and slightly kinky read. Highly recommended to all fans of Daddy kink and polyamory who are looking for a low angst and steamy romance 👍🏻👍🏻

P.S: Thanks Kati for your wonderful review. It convinced me to check it out and look what happened; I devoured it in one day!! ❤️❤️

I've never read a poly romance so I think I made a mistake staring with an MMMM romance when I should have just started with MMM but here we are. I loved sam, Luke and callum's dynamic and I loved their alone time with Jacob but when they all got together I was just incredibly bored. Nothing clicked for me. I will try to read a poly romance without the daddy kink to see if it would work for me but so far it does not.

I am really not quite sure how I feel about this book.

First of all I really liked the idea of one Daddy and three boys who couldn’t be more different from each other - personality and kink wise. I am just not entirely sure if it worked. Maybe it did work quite beautifully and I just didn’t get it. That’s very much a possibility…

But I honestly think that the plot didn’t do the idea justice. A big chunk of the book was about the individual firsts of the boys with the Daddy and as much as this was needed to get to know them individually I just wished for more group scenes (and not just spicy scenes but also emotional scenes). Especially considering the tight bonds between the three best friends. I wished for more in the last few chapters is what I’m saying.
And the ending was generally not my favourite which is a bit disappointing.

Little side note: I absolutely adored the characters. They were all awesome and I so loved that all of them got unique character traits. I liked that a lot.

Yeah. It safe to say that I enjoyed this book but it had its flaws and I can’t really overlook them because they just didn’t work for me.

Well this was a fun surprise. I am starving for something unexpected in this genre and this definitely delivered. I love how she wove in bits of the Three Little Pigs nursery rhyme in fun and modern ways. It was all REALLY creative. I love the three boys bond with each other. I love that all three are different and their Wolf caught onto that quickly. It was super sexy and held my attention from beginning to end which is nearly impossible these days.

There are a few reasons why I didn’t give it 5 stars.
I REALLY wish we had more time with the four of them committed. There was so much time spent on the three boys and their individual dates, that leaving the official commitment between all of them allllll the way until the very very end was kind of a bummer. I almost hesitate to call it an MMMM because most of it was spent as varying pairs 🤷🏻

Regardless of that, I kinda loved this book. Well done Daddy kink, no age play, a unique plot with unique characters. Looking forward to more. And yes, I read Golden by her and loved it!

Three is a standalone MMMM romance novel by Helen Juliet. It's told from a first person, quadruple perspective and has a guaranteed happily ever after. It's steamy and low-angst, although does feature some different kinds of kink (please review the content/trigger warnings and take care of yourself while reading). It features three best friends each searching for their perfect Daddy, and a Daddy that's looking for the perfect boy to take care of.

Since highschool, it's been Luke, Sam, and Callum against the world. Although they care for one another deeply, their submissive desires have made dating one another out of the question. When they sign up for a kink app, they set their sights on Daddy Jacob and ask him to choose between the three of them. Jacob's a self-made billionaire, and what he wants, he gets. When he gets an intriguing proposition from three lovely boys on a kink app, how's he supposed to choose? Although he promises to give each boy an unforgettable weekend with him, he's now unsure how one weekend will ever be enough. And again...how's he supposed to choose?

I don't care who the fuck comes after me. These boys were mine first, and they'll always be mine in one way or another. I'm inside them, all over them. I'm their Daddy.
Forever.

This was another sweet, steamy, and easy read. It's perfect if you're looking for Daddy kink or a polyamorous romance story with very little angst. Although Jacob was intimidating, the way he took care of each boy was absolutely heartwarming. They'd been through so much, and they deserved it. It was incredible watching them flourish. At the same time, we get to see a relationship develop between the boys - Sam, Callum, and Luke. Even though this was a promised HEA, I still got antsy waiting for them to get themselves sorted but of course Jacob came through and took care of his boys. Another fun read from Helen Juliet!

This was the sweetest, most adorable book I have read in a long time. This book had a three little piggies and the big bad (good) wolf theme going on and it was so incredibly cute. I am so glad I picked this book up and if you enjoy Daddy/boy books, poly and adorableness with amazing sexy times I urge you to read this book!

This is my first book with three boys and one Daddy and I honestly wasn’t sure how it was going to work. But it worked perfectly. All three boys were treated so equally, there was never a single instance where one boy was favoured over the others and I absolutely loved how tuned into each boy the Daddy was. He knew exactly what each boy needed and was able to give them it even during group scenes.

Jacob Wolf is a freaking fantastic Daddy and exactly what these boys needed. He was so caring and giving and truly wanted what was best for his boys. Sam, Callum and Luke are best friends who are all looking for a Daddy. I was so happy that they were able to stay together and become a family together with Jacob! Sam was such a sweet boy who needed someone who would be in charge once in a while. Callum was a bratty boy who loved discipline. Luke was the absolute sweetest and deserves all the hugs and attention he could ever want!

The way these four found each other was so sweet and I loved it. I keep saying the book was sweet and adorable but it was also super hot and really sad at times. There’s not a huge amount of angst but there are some issues that have to be worked through so it’s not a super easy journey.

After reading the blurb my friend asked specifically if it was just erotic and if they all get together at the end. I’m happy to say that no, it wasn’t just erotic. I got to know the characters and was so happy for them to all find their HEA which was wonderful as yes they are all together. I absolutely recommend this book and hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

3.5 ⭐️ I really liked this book I just wish we got to see more of their relationship together. It also felt like the plot moved very fast. It hadn’t even been 2 weeks and they were in love. Still the scene with the four of them was 🥵

This was an adorable story about three best friends who love each other deeply but need just a little more. Jacob ends up being the perfect "daddy" for them, and it was sweet seeing how well he was able to meet their individual needs. It all moved a bit too quickly though. I can usually suspend my disbelief in romance for how quickly characters fall in love, but this was a bit too fast, especially considering this was ultimately a foursome, so we need to believe that every character is in love with every other character. Also this is a loose retelling of the three little pigs, and while it mostly worked, and Jacob as the "big bad wolf" was pretty sexy, some of the dialogue was a little cringey. Ultimately, this was cute though and I especially loved the epilogue.

If you enjoyed Golden by the same author, then you will love this.
As a contemporary fairytale retelling with daddy kink, Three is utterly charming.
Each of the boys, or piggies (the pig stuffies were an adorable touch), have a defined personality and needs of their own.
Jacob, the wolf, is loaded and lonely, always finding sugar babies that just want him for his money. He fairly gets to test his daddy skills with the boys and even makes mistakes, which I found endearing.
Balancing a harem can be difficult but each boy gets their alone time with daddy and Jacob works hard to make it special.
Just so cute, steamy and a lot of fun.
I found myself emotionally invested in the characters and the HEA was perfect.

About that big bad Wolf...

He was not bad at all. In fact, he was sweet as pie and such a good Daddy.

If I could convince everyone to read this I would. I fell in love with all four of these men and I'm so glad that the wolf was a billionaire and could afford to save the three little piggies.

And indeed these three beautiful souls needed to be saved. Each boy was completely different in looks and submission, but they worked so well together. I not only was all in with the entire group, but I was all in with only the boys.

The epilogue was actually realistic and I'm was happy with how they all ended up.

Kinky queer fairytale retellings? Count me in.

I was convinced this was either going to be amazing or an absolute flop, and it was actually neither. It's a solid book and I liked the characters and the premise, but it felt underwhelmed. I wanted just a bit more which I remember also feeling from this authors red riding hood retelling. The characters jump into a relationship at the end and I wish we had a bit of conversation on page and such.

Basically we've got three best friends (three little piggies) who all want to lose their virginity and want daddies of their own but they're scared it will cause the three of them to drift apart. They end up trying a dating site looking for daddies and end up finding the same one. After asking the daddy to choose between them, they all end up with a magical weekend where they have penetrative sex for the first time. I'm not a fan of the virginity trope but I knew it was there before starting so I'm not necessarily counting it against the book.

The daddy in question, Jacob wolf, because yes of course the daddy is the big bad wolf but he's actually apparently a mind reading cinnamon roll. Jacob has a boat load of money, probably hundreds of boatloads tbh, he's fucking loaded and when he comes across the three boys looking for their own experience, he figures it's a good way to pass the time while also setting up some guys to have high expectations of future partners.

The three friends all have very different kinks and the daddy just knew what they all wanted. They didn't really have any conversation about each of their limits or interests but don't fret, daddy wolf knows. It was unrealistic and odd to me, not to mention problematic regarding kink. Discussions and consent in advance are important and if you're not gonna include the actual conversation on page some references to it would be nice.

Anyway, big bad wolf saves the day by deflowering the three friends and saving them from their terrible homophobic landlord and they live happily ever after.

It's not one I would read again but it wasn't bad. Not a favorite but a good solid middle of the road book.

Gay mcs, one fat MC, one midsize MC, one MC over 40.

Lots of CWs especially for specific kinks (the most notable being humiliation and impact play) but also for homophobia, discussion of child abuse, panic attacks

This was such a cute read. Low angst, sweet, and spicy. Especially the scene with Callum and Jacob. The blurb tells exactly what happens.

Hurt comfort dream dates MMMM. It was sweet. Cal, Sam and Luke were different but a package deal. I liked that each of them had a different experience. Kudos to the driver and Harris for their support. The landlord was a piece of work, the way he got off so light was a shame. Felt like communication could've fixed things before they ended up in need of rescue.

Daddy Wolf and his 3 little piggies 🔥🐷🐺🔥

This was a simply delicious retelling of a fairytale classic 🔥 Daddy Wolf has gotten lonely, sick of empty hook ups with boys looking for a sugar Daddy......our three little virgin piggy best friends aren't necessarily looking for their forever daddy, however....a deal is made for each to have a weekend with Daddy to be their first and experience a Daddy in a way which neither has had.....sparks fly 💥 intense connections are made and love is had ❤️ on every level! Daddy knows what each boy needs individually now but yearns for them all, each little piggy fell in love with their new Daddy and love each other on a level that's becoming more than friends since starting this experience......this story wasn't only sexy as hell it was really sweet and endearing.....the ending was perfect!!!! I highly recommend this one.

This was actually a really sweet book. Between Callum’s naughtiness, Sam’s steadfastness, Luke’s gentleness and Daddy Wolf’a caring, I couldn’t pick a favorite if I tried.

What was supposed to be a one time deal for each boy turned into something more when they left a piece of their heart with Daddy Wolf. I absolutely loved how Daddy Wolf tailored each experience to the boy. Each scene unique to their personality and likes and dislikes. It was a wonderful aspect of this book that really set it apart.

Their chemistry and the steam in this book was so delicious. The boys were very eager to please and delivered greatly. And Callum’s humiliation kink? *chefs kiss*

If you’re looking for a wonderful Daddy/Boy story, this books delivers times three.

I am not a fan of most fairytale retellings. And here we have a cute little story about three boys (the piggies) finding their Daddy (the wolf). And this was super cute. I liked the premise, I liked the boys, I even liked Daddy. But this was one of those books where so much sweet is actually boring.

Ultimately, there was so much time and focus spent on the three individual dates that the romance and relationship between all four fell remarkably short. By the time they finally got together it felt mechanical and my brain was already out the door.

My fave parts were the 3 boys relationship with each other. How protective they were. How kind and loving. That is something that I was invested in.

YMMV.

I was gifted my copy of this book.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again, I'm sure! Helen Juliet is a wiz at these fairy tale retells and I've loved them all!

But this one?? Far surpasses the others! I've filed this on my Masterpieces shelf, I loved it that much!

It's so darn cute, as well as smexy, and these boys love each other hard, even before Daddy comes along, they just didn't realise quite how much they did.

I loved that Jacob, the Daddy, offers all three boys what they need. Their needs are very different, and Jacob, by offering them each a few days to give them his undivided attention, brings the very best out of them each. It also leaves the two who are not currently with Daddy to do their own thing, and that's where the relationships between the boys begin to grow into more than they had before. They ALL wanted more, but neither was able to ask for it. But with Daddy, they are all able to voice their needs and Daddy delivers, beautifully!

It's smexy, oh hell yes it is, but it's also deeply emotional. I felt for Jacob, before he met his boys 9and they were HIS, very early on!) He's lonely, and the boys call to him, right from the start. Giving them what THEY need, he finds what HE needs.

And that's those three little piggies who squirmed their way into his heart and his bed after a very short time.

I read this in one sitting, I bloody could NOT put it down!

It's been a while coming, but Ms Juliet??

5 full and shiny stars (but I would give this more if I could!

I don't know how Helen Juliet came up with the idea for Daddy Wolf and his three little piggies, but it has to be one of the most creative and adorable adaptations of the fairytale so far. Sam, Luke, and Callum were wonderfully sweet, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching them be swept off their feet by a magical getaway with Daddy. I was impressed by how uniquely crafted each of their experiences was, and despite how unique their needs were, Jacob adapted his persona to satisfy each one of them. Compared to Sam and Luke's chapters, Callum's did feel a bit less developed, but I think that's because the most impactful moments all revolved around their scenes together and less around the rest of their stay. Whether it was Sam's desire to be a good boy, Callum's feisty and bratty nature, or Luke's much softer neediness, my heart felt equally full of love for these three boys. Jacob sold me on his connection to all three sweethearts, and I wanted to yell at him when he let them go without expressing his deepening feelings right away. The end of their story veered further into dramatic rescue mode than I was expecting, but who am I kidding--I loved seeing Daddy charge in to save the day for his boys. Their happy ending contained all the cuddles and sweet confessions of love I was hoping for, and that epilogue only confirmed what I already knew to be true--that these men had found their forever partners.

**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.

Oh my, this was supposed to be a modern retelling of that tale about wolf and... pigggies? Okay, now some things make more sense. Though I am not sure I ever really considered that... anything sexual. Even after realizing the wolf in Red Riding Hood was originally a symbol for a "male predator" looking for... virgins. Yuck. Guess it does make a certain... sense?

What doesn't make sense is why I didn't just chuck the book. I was cringing and sighing through the first chapters then I took a break and picked it up again and... it is not my kind of read. It could have been and certain elements kind of worked, but... most of it felt meh and the rest I could have done without so as someone who enjoys the occasional poly romance and occasional kink, this didn't work for me, especially with Callum, which I skipped to some extend.

I am kind of getting over the whole dynamic of a dominant and bigger guy with a small and submissive one. Starting to feel like... how to say this... toxicly heteronormative? As in, I wish this wasn't a big part of straight romance but it is and now it's happening with two guys and it's not any better.

There have been some amazing m/m fairytale reimaginings over the last few years, some written by this very same Helen Juliet who is one of my favorite authors. This one, however, just might be my all time favorite. Jacob has the perfect billionaire Daddy personality and I literally laughed out loud when he declines to choose among the three friends who've chosen him on the same app. The four of them spend time with each other and all sorts of steam and cotton candy fluff ensues. We even get to see Jacob in protector mode, swoon. Read this if you want to feel just like that emoji with the heart eyes. Juliet just gets better and better.

A perfect balance within the story arc!

Brilliant! This was one of the best romances I’ve ever read. Well played. Each character has just enough backstory to catch you in all the feels. Also with the love interest, there is such a sweet build up for each character. And the steamy meets dreamy ending is just what a reader asks for for an HEA. I loved this book!

This was a fantastic retelling of The Three Little Pigs. Sam, Luke and Callum are best friends, and all sign up on a dating app that pairs them all with Jacob, a billionaire tech genius. I adored all four!! The story hooked me and didn’t let me go, it was really well written and flowed beautifully.
