I really enjoyed this book. The story was compelling and the author's writing style is great. I would have given 4.5 stars just because there were spelling errors and some minor grammatical issues. I don't know if the author has a beta team who missed these.
I absolutely love Zane and Anna! I'm looking forward to the next book and the release of the third in the series.

Adults act like teenagers
I liked the idea behind this book and for the most part I think the author did a good job but I never felt like the adults acted or spoke like actual adults. The FMC who is supposed to be this awesome interrogator throwing a tantrum was majorly cringe for me. I pushed through and nothing THAT immature happens again thank goodness but I was never able to feel like these were mature adults honestly even immature 30 year olds don’t speak like any of these characters.
Their kids (all but one) just immediately jumping on board and wanting to call them mom and dad is something I’d expect out of a young child but all the kids were supposed to be adults, some even with their own mates as well. These are characters that were raised by their mom before she died. For them to want to call the FMC mom right after meeting her as their dads new mate just didn’t come across as realistic and it took away any meaning that a moment like that could’ve had for me. I wanted to like this book more and I tried but it was a struggle the whole time not to stop there were some good moments but they were ruined as soon as any self monologue or characters speaking to each other occurred.

I really enjoyed the storyline that Krys Strong created in this novel. This is a second chance romance in a wolf shifter. It is an emotional roller coaster; there were times I was laughing and times I was crying.
The book is written in both main characters POV. This adds another dimension to the story.
The action starts as soon as the mates meet and never truly dies down. There is enough drama to keep readers interested. Additionally, there are some nicely done spicy scenes.

great book
Love the plot line and the characters. However, I feel for me personally how the characters say certain things can be childish and probably not words that people of their age in life would actually say. But overall, a really good book.

Loved it!
This is my first book from this and it was amazing. The storyline, the adventure, the heartache jumps off the pages at you. I cried like i was reading a Nicholas sparks book during part of it. This was well written and is a definite must read

I thoroughly enjoy this book. It was gripping and thrilling and the characters were amazing. Second chance on love was hard for them and it’s not perfect but they made it work
