Oh God! I really thought my heart couldn't break more for Gabe than it already had, but Ashlee proved me wrong. Like seriously Ashlee? Don’t you love him at all? I hope he will get the best happy end in history, because nobody deserves it more than him! And yeah, I’m team Gabe and I’m proud of it! That said, it was another great book. It was very emotional and heartbreaking with so so so bad cliffhanger that I had to read the last few chapters to make sure I read what I thought I read. The second cliffhanger - yep I count the one before the epilogue as well - was more interesting than anything. I actually can't wait to read Cassie's book. It sure will be a hell of a ride. I need the last book in Angel's story like now, but I know I can rush perfection so I will wait as long as needed. The book was mostly from the POVs of the guys but I didn’t mind, it was fitting because of the situation. I was also happy to see Dante warming up the idea of Gabe as a part of Angel. I can’t wait to see what happens next. The only thing I didn't "like" is the length of the book. It was too short! I need more of the Reapers.
Vengeful Minds by Ashlee M Edmonds is a dark MC reverse harem romance. This is the third book in The Reapers of Havoc MC series.
This is Ashlee's debut series. I couldn't help but binge the book in one sitting. I loved that we got Gabriel, Jaxon, Angel, Lucky, Cassie, Royal, King, and Dante's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series Reckless Love to be released by the end of 2022.
I would recommend this series if you like dark romances, reverse harem romances, motorcycle club romances, or romantic suspense.
Gripping stuff! This latest book in the series had me so engaged I read it in one hit. So many heartwrenching moments with characters that will get you fully invested in their lives, loves and heartaches. The plot continues from where we left book 2, that said I'm not going to say much about the plot as that will lead to spoilers, just believe me you will need to read all the books to understand where Ashley is taking us. So good, I really can't wait for the next installment.
I received an ARC copy of this book from the author and all views and opinions are my own.
This book was so good. I read it in basically one day I could not put it down. Angel an her guys are my favorite even Gabe grew on me. The cliffhanger is brutal but not extremely bad who am I kidding it is I need the last book now. This book starts off at the same place as book before it ended. I was happy to see Dante sorta get over his crap about everything. Royal is becoming my favorite it changes every book.
This book has twisted all of my emotions. I have even cried a few times because I’m so emotionally attached to these characters. The plot twists just keep coming and the ending has left me wanting the next one asap. I won’t say to much to avoid spoilers but damn that ending has my head spinning.
This series for me has just been alright. The plot is decent, but the writing is what kills it for me. The characters are written like we're suppose to have this huge backstory of their connection and their history to help explain what they're going through and how strong their bond is. When in reality, we've gotten now three short books and a novella that really have only described what's going on immediately and we got no real set up of their background and history. It's hard to care about characters and their connections when you have no history set up to explain it. It's like we're missing an entire book to begin the series before we just jumped right into what's going on.
But, the action was ok in this book. The story is continuing, more drama is happening. And it's flowing. I do feel like we're missing something in the story that either is just not being talked about or will be revealed later on. I feel like we haven't gotten a full explanation on why king hates angel so much, and maybe I'm just reading into things but like why do gabe and angel have this huge connection to each other? Is it more than just chance? I still don't understand how the dynamic will work if angel is just gonna be with Gabe and all the guys or not. Like Dante hasn't even fully except angel and him and the guys, how do you add in gabe? I love reverse harems but I'm huge on consent and everyone involved needs to be 100% ok with everything.
I'm interested to see where the story goes. The books are not my absolute favorite, but they're entertaining and being short they're great palette cleansers after reading more emotional or stressful books.
Ashlee m. Edmonds have done it again and written a really good book.. this book was soo good that i read in a couple of hours and I’m exicted for the next book
I loved this book so much… i really love the Characters.. i really loved the twist and turn… This really Kept my interest the whole Way and i really loves this book…this book was freaking good
I highly recommend that people read vengeful minds it’s soo freaking good… i just really freaking love this book!!!
This book is really a must read and you won’t regret Reading it!!
Loved this book as much as all the others. Loved getting to see more of Cassie’s relationships develop.
Angels love story is still developing but I love how they are all coming to the same conclusion. She’s their perfect match. My heart broke for Gabe, in this one. He’s my dark Prince and I love him
Another great book in this amazing series!! Vengeful Minds starts off right where the last one left off!! I’m really loved this book & am certainly loving the series!! Soooo sooo good.. & that cliffhanger I can’t wait to read the next book!! 💜🖤
“This book was given to me in exchange for my honest review."
I absolutely love this series. Each book keeps getting better and better. Ashlee has me lost in the world of the Reapers Of Havoc MC. She pulls you in and holds you captive. I couldn't put it down.
Ok, so I will say that there is nothing wrong with the plot or the writing. This is just a me thing. I'm losing interest. Sometimes things seem great. Then, all of a sudden someone is being stupid and immature and I'm rolling my eyes. First, how does Angel get shot in the chest and , yet, in a week she's rushed out of the hospital and able to have sex and stuff? I mean, that's some miraculous healing for even someone young and healthy! Second, I can believe that a certain doctor or nurse is bought off, but a whole floor of the hospital? Nah. I don't buy it. Why would a guy be sent in to put something in Gabriel's IV, supposedly to kill him? Then, the guy runs away and nurses rush in. Gabriel is flat lining, right? Next thing you know, Gabriel has been kidnapped? Why? If the shot wasn't to kill him, then what was it for? He was already comatose, so there was no reason to knock him out. Just weird. Third, I finally figured out what is bothering me about Angel and Gabriel. Yes, the age thing bothers me. But, there was no relationship build up. It was all "Gabriel is the devil!" But he sneaks into her room to get "answers" from her, and she gets all hot and bothered because he's hot? Then, he just starts touching her because he just knows that's what she wants? And she's all for it because, why not? The devil is hot, so I'm going to do him? It just makes no sense. The whole "I just know there's something there" doesn't work for me in that scenario. I get that they eventually get time together and the relationship has time to develop into more than physical stuff. But, it all seemed really weird. Why him? Fourth, the whole King thing...You're telling me that no one in the MC knew he was doing something on the side? I get the loyalty thing, but it seems like nobody knew the stuff he'd been doing for a long time. And why would any of the club members be loyal to a president who took off when all hell broke loose? Wouldn't they find it fishy that he disappeared and call in the chapters from other areas? That just didn't make sense. What also doesn't make sense is King going from someone the "kids" respected and who treated them well growing up, to someone who would slap Angel, physically fight with his son, send the boys away to harm their relationship, and generally become the devil. Yes, I can see him being manipulative to everyone. But what would make him suddenly snap and go crazy with everyone and everything? Weird
My final complaint is how short these books are. I'm finishing them in 2-3 hours tops. Separating them in such short segments seems like a way to make more money and give little in return. I don't like that.
Overall, I may be losing interest, but it's not a bad series. I'm just not liking the execution of it. I feel like the further we get into the story, the more I just want it be over.
All my life, I’ve wanted to be with those four guys. To have them love me, cherish me, for them to call me theirs. And at the first glimpse of hope for that stupid, girlish dream to come true, I tossed Gabe to the side.
Gabe breathed life back into my broken and tortured soul. He allowed me to explore the darkest parts of myself and embrace the power that came with it.
Then, when I least expected it, he opened up by telling me his story. He shared with me the trauma he’s carried alone all these years.
I feel weak and desperate, like the same girl who cried helplessly for months when she lost her friends. But what Gabe helped me realize is that I hadn’t lost them but instead, found myself. In their absence, I allowed myself to become someone who wasn’t dependent on them for her own happiness, her own strength.
I became a woman who grabbed life by the balls and took what she wanted — without fear or consequence. It wasn’t until I started second–guessing myself and letting all those childish doubts that I’ve allowed everyone to put on me sink in that I slipped back into old habits.
I like who I am when I’m with Gabriel. I should have never let the guys make me doubt myself. The strong, confident woman I was becoming went right out the window at the first sign of trouble. Given time, they would have come to an agreement about my relationship with Gabe, or maybe they wouldn’t and I would have come to terms with it.
I should start with the bad. Not that there was much if you enjoyed the first 2.5 books, this book was on the shorter side, which is fine by me since I could finish it in a night, but i know some may not like the length, to each their own.
Okay now on to the good! The book does not hesitate to pick up right where it left off, you get your answer to what happened, and oh is it a kick in the gut when you learn how her guys find out.
I was excited it was in multiple pov, I love a book where you get the guys perspective. Always nice to know what they are thinking especially in as serious and sad as a situation they were in with Angel. I saw others didn't like that they felt like it was the same chapter twice but I didn't get that vibe, I thought it added to the story.
You will either be team Gabe or not, I am still on the fence I liked him a bit in the novella and I thought it'd Carry over but I still need convincing but I know Ashlee will do that.
If you want a good MC RH series, please do yourself a favor and pick this one up, it is a bit dark but not terribly depressing dark, but if you hate cliffhangers you may want it to be the end of the year like me.
Holy cow, that was a lot to take in. I had to reread book two to get a refresher and as usual the cliffhangers are epic in this series. But the cliffy at the end of this book is particularly brutal, because so much is happening in the last chapter. With all the chaos and, dare I say, havoc going on when I read the last words my reaction was not good. At first I flipped the page just because I didn’t realize that was it. Then I flipped back to read the last sentence and then I may have shouted “No” and tossed my kindle not so gently. That’s how good the writing has gotten in this series. The books feel way too short because the writing sucks you into the story and you can’t put it down. I’m so invested in this series now that I can’t not know what happens to them all. These characters are so gritty and real, that you relate to them very easily. At least for me. The storyline isn’t so far fetched that it’s actually believable and that makes it easy to feel invested. Now I just feel like I’m trying to justify my outburst at the cliffhanger. But this is how I feel when reading this series. I definitely think any of my MC loving friends out there should give this a read.
Ashlee pulled out so many emotions from Heartbreak to happiness followed by fear and adrenaline as the sprinkles on the top. When the action hit it came fast and filled with twists that I could not put it down.
I loved seeing the relationships develop between Angel, Lucky, Jaxson and Royal, their family is starting to come together in spite of everything they're facing. The fact that their relationship with Dante is happening at its own rate makes their relationships more real and relatable.
My main man Gabriel is all heart and every book just makes him grow on me. Regardless of the fact he's been painted as the devil for so long the truth is really starting to come to light as Kings men see behind his smoke and mirrors. Although his true treachery is still to come to light.
The twists and turns in this book especially at the ending have me desperate to know what comes next. Who will live? Who will fall? Will they get their hea?
Without giving too much away about the plot, this book picks up right after book two with Angel taking care of herself and finally taking control of her life.
The overall plot is entertaining and I've been enjoying the series since the beginning, and this book didn't falter on entertainment. Where it was lacking was the feeling of it being unfinished. This is a novella, so it wasn't meant to be a full story, but it felt like we were missing information, and details that would've made the story more complete.
The biggest thing that through me off with this book is that there is a lot of repetitive scenes with different POVs. It was more of a nuisance and while I enjoyed the plot, the reptitive writing was what made it a little lackluster.
Arc Reader Was so eager to find out what happened with the cliffhanger from Book 2 I didn’t wait to jump right in and inhaled this book within a few hours I just couldn’t put it down. Angel is finally taking control of her life and her feelings and letting these boys know how it’s going to be. Royal, Lucky and Jax they are finally accepting things and Dante you can see will eventually get there but is just having a few “Daddy “ issue lol . Dante has really became another favourite of mine during this book and I loved seeing his growth and acceptance during some difficult times. Really enjoying the whole Cassie, Zeke , Sinner and Shadow story that is evolving also. Ashlee has left us with another argh ending and I’m excited for the next book to see how it’s all going to play out. Also need more Daddy Gabe lol

The last book ended with a cliffhanger and this one starts right were that one ended. Angel and Gabe fighting for their lives. Angel starts to realize her feelings for the guys. The book are mostly from the POV of the guys which make sense for what's happening You wish for a HEA but that want happen not in this fast paced Rollercoaster ride of a book with action dark romance why choose and everything between. It ends with a cliffhanger that I didn't see coming. One of this years best reads though it was to short in my opinion Highly recommended to everyone looking for suspense romance dark reading.
Oh My! This book continues where book 2 leaves off giving us a ton of action and drama. Angel and Gabe are fighting for their lives and the guys are going out of their minds throughout all of this. We see the drama unfolding as we journey alongside them. We are wishing for the best in all the ways in this book. It has a ton of drama, and suspense. It has you on the Ed of your seat with anticipation of what is going to happen next. It seems that no one in this book can catch a break. It is extremely well written and developed. This book/series is fantastic story. It is absolutely a must read.
Omg what a book and where to begin!! Just when you think things are getting better and there is going to be a happy ending! Bam there comes another amazing rollercoaster of a war! The ending is one hell of a cliffhanger it left me falling so deep I can’t wait for the next book! Now to find out who made it out alive to come back to Angel who has been through hell and what has happened to poor Cassie’s rollercoaster of her three men cycle!!! When I picked this book up I couldn’t not put it down! I finished it all in one sitting! And it will leave you wanting so much more!!!

The book definitely started off with a bang and kept going to the end. I look forward to reading the first two books in the series to further fall in love with the characters
Dante is so sweet, especially towards Angel and his brothers.
The book doesnt hold back and explores every romantic relationship. Im really looking forward to reading the rest of the series
But WOW, that cliffhanger got me, pulled me in completely in the last couple of chapters, definitely will be reading the rest
I really can’t wait for the HEA in this series…I’m dying to know how Gabe fits into Angel’s world in the end. I loved this book for getting to see the harem coming back together again and rebuilding what they thought was long since broken. There are a lot of unanswered questions in this book that make the tension waiting for the next book real but I know it will be worth the wait. I’m also excited for what I’m hoping will become a spin off with Cassie, Sinner, Shadow and Zeke! This was a quick read that was packed with so much and I want more!
I received an arc of this book for an honest review. This book was soooo addictive I was made up to hear from angel and her boys again. I devoured this in one sitting and let me tell you it was so worth it. King has made so many enemies and I am rooting for Gabriel to get his revenge before royal does. I felt really sorry for Gabriel in this book the way he suffered by the hands of king all his life I hope his revenge is nice and slow. I only hope angel makes the right choice in the end and I can't wait for the next book in this series ❤️
Angel and her dudes. Man this book had a lot going on. Attack on a hospital, torture of Gabriel, comas, Angel finally hooking up with Lucky. I mean its been YEARS they've wanted to hook up. Seems like it would be like a brother after that long. Sons and Reapers teaming up to take out King after he admits that he was the one that shot both Gabe and Angel in the alley. Oh and he also admitted he killed Dante's mom. I was expecting some sort of twist that had King not being guilty but nope...he was open and ok with everything.

This one picks up right where the last ended, with Angel and Gabe getting shot and Dante arriving just in time to do something. Lots of time in the hospital, with both healing, the 2 clubs getting all pissy about their person and the others being around. More info comes out, Angel spills how shot her and Gabe and that unites factions of these 2 clubs that are normally enemies. The hunt is on for King, yet he stays one step ahead of them. This one ends with a bit of news, not sure if it's good or bad for the crew or for King.
