This book begins with Tracy hoping orders from a woman will help expand her aunt’s flower shop. She is quickly shown this wealthy woman had no intentions of helping their shop, but instead, greatly hurting their business. Before she even has time to do anything about that she finds herself thrown into being on the suspect list of this woman’s murder. This story is packed full of twists and turns. I had a few times when I thought I had the real murderer figured out just to be proven wrong pretty quickly! I never did figure out who the true murderer was until it was revealed in the story. The ending was nothing I ever could have imagined but one I could not stop reading either! I’m already looking forward to the next Fern Grove Mystery! This is book 9 in the Fern Grove mystery series, and I’ve had the pleasure of reading most of them! Tracy is looking forward to her marriage to Warren, but right now he is out of town at a conference and she’s missing him. When the owner of the newly refurbished Marigold Hotel, Felicia Pickles, a rather nasty and conniving woman, takes advantage of Tracy and steals her floral supplier, Tracy confronts her in the hotel in front of witnesses. Later when Felicia dies under suspicious circumstances, there are plenty of suspects! This is a very twisty case, with lots of surprises, exciting from start to end! I received a free copy from the author and write this review voluntarily.

'Marigold and a Killer Cold' was an entertaining read. Its fast-paced plot was filled with suspense and intrigue. The thrills came in waves as Tracy, the busy body, found herself in the sights of the police as being a suspect in a murder. Of course, she had to do some snooping of her own. You can only imagine the end results. I enjoyed reading the narrative and tried to stay on my toes to figure out who killed the crotchety elderly lady. I received an advanced copy for free. When the customer is found dead Tracy, along with several others who disliked the victim become persons of interest. Tracy wants to plan her wedding and not have to deal with another murder in her hometown of Fern Grove. This is an engaging and entertaining series. Tracy is busy working for her aunt Rose in the flower shop while trying to plan her wedding! Her fiancé Warren is out of town in Chicago taking a training course. So Tracy is a little scattered. Her best friend comes to town surprising her and helping with the wedding plans. When a difficult rich woman from her shop is murdered and Tracy is a suspect she quickly gets involved in the investigation! This book was faced paced with plenty of action and suspense. Tracy is more vulnerable and emotional than usual. I loves this author and this book! So I highly recommend this book and series!

This was a fun cozy mystery to read. Tracy Adams finds herself trying to solve another murder. This time the dead woman was an unpopular luxury hotel owner who had lots of enemies. It kept me wondering who the killer was. This book was well written. I highly recommend this book to other cozy mystery readers. I received this book as an ARC, and the above opinion is strictly my own.

Marigold and a Killer Cold is book 9 in the Fern Grove Cozy Mystery series by Abby Reede.
This was an enjoyable story. The victim was very unpleasant so there were a number of people who could be the party. I was surprised at how things wrapped up.

Tracy is planning her wedding but business espionage gets in the way. Her best friend comes for a visit but is offered a job by the newly widowed hotelier inwho promptly moves out of town.Add in an almost kidnapping and you have the barest bones of this intriguing small town story!
Was so happy to read the latest Fern Grove story - lots of twists and turns regarding who committed the murder, the visit from Tracy’s friend Isabella and a look at Tracy’s touch of jealousy with regard to Warren. In the end, everything gets worked out. Looking forward to book 10.
Another predictable cozy mystery. Fern Grove seems like it should be a nice place, but weird things happen. There are twists and turns to the story, but nothing that really pulls the reader in. None of the characters grab you and pull you in or repel you.
Awesome story once again. Mystery, suspense and more to keep you intrigued. Moving in with Aunt Rose, Tracy figures it’s a great idea. Small towns should be peaceful, but not this one. Will definitely make you want more.
Another fast paced mystery involving Tracy, She always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her best friend comes to ho her with her wedding & gets involved in a murder that only Tracy can solve. Such a roller coaster ride with a great ending.
I really enjoyed this book very much and once you start to read it you will get involved in the story, to the point you won’t put it down until you finish it.
A new hotel named the marigold, a love child,ca millionaire and a scammer it just the tip of the iceberg in this amazing new story and being able to come home to fern grove awesome.
