This book is a great resource for yoga nidra, but I found many of the concepts too abstract without context. It was difficult to understand some of the things contained in Mr. Miller's writing.

I may just need more time with the experiences, but I do appreciate the step-by-step process of the iRest yoga nidra. Although, I'm unsure what makes iRest different from any other yoga nidra.

I'm glad I read this book, and am very likely to return to it for my own teachings.

I already teach yoga nidra and I enjoy irest, so I decided to read this to enhance my teaching (in lieu of another teacher training). I gave it 3.5 stars because his language is quite alienating, and I found this quite frustrating at times. I had also hoped he would explain the introduction of opposites a bit better as this is something that doesn’t always feel intuitive. And I was interested in how one might introduce self-practice in daily life, which he also doesn’t really explore.

This book is a great supplement if you are already practicing this form of yoga nidra. It clearly outlines the principles behind iRest yoga nidra. I found it helpful in deepening my practice.
