The dynamic duo are back again with a page turning adventure. The ending completely caught me off guard. I look forward to the next book because I need to know how things end.

This is a brilliant read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and found myself second guessing every thought I had continuously.

Oh HELLLLL NAW! That ending! The cliffhanger. I'm super invested, there is no turning back.

This story follows Max and Shatina while they deal with a blackmailing, emotionally unstable Sam. Sam has some serious attachment and daddy issues. We're introduced to THREE new players in the game. And now the muther fking ending that left me ready to throw my kindle. BFFR. I'm gonna need this series to be adapted. BET Plus 100%

Never saw that ending coming!

I’m only on book 3 and this is my favorite in the series so far! I wasn’t sure where it was heading at first, but the story just kept getting more detailed and better over time. I loved how Tanisha gave us a different insight into each character with every chapter. And my mouth is still wide open from that ending! I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again—Tanisha Stewart is the QUEEN of plot twists! On to book 4!

Walking on the dark side - Shatina and Max have found themselves drawn even deeper into the darkness they are not seeking. Max's ex proves to be more than a pretty face, lying in wait for him just as he did for Tina years ago. The characters continue to be intertwined in an unbelievable one-degree-of-separation way that is mind-blowing. Ms. Stewart has written a phenomenal new chapter to the tale, delivered by Ms. King masterfully as always. Let the reaping begin!

I was so into this book because it is intriguing only to get to the end and bam, stonewalled!!! I cannot wait until July for t he next installment. Come on! This series is off the chain and I don't know what I will do until then. Tanisha, that was so wrong lol. Read the book then you will understand.

Omg! Shatina and Max are at it again and With Sam pulling the strings, they are stuck. Ms Tanisha keeps pulling us in to keep turning those pages! Sis, you never disappoint me. Looking forward to reading this series and the next and the one after that and the ones after that! And the stand-alones.

I'm just so shocked how Shatinas past is haunting her an Max. Sam is crazy too. I'm in suspense on what's going to happen in the next part. That cliffhanger had me in "Awwwww". Now I can't wait for the next part
