Another Good One
The drama increased. That’s saying a lot considering everything that happened up until this point. Getting to know more about the crew and side characters made for a good read. Can’t wait to see it ends.

I might be losing steam with this being the 5th book. alot of moving parts in this one.

Had to make me some popcorn for this one. As mentioned before there are a lot of moving parts going on, however it seemed a lot easier to follow in this story as the crew is all working together to save Shatara.
This read like a season finale. There are multiple cliffhangers and I have found myself liking two of our previous threats. Not sure how it happened but I'm rocking with it.
Lots of personal growth for our girl Sam, Shatina and Max FINALLY get their freak on, and I hate Brighton Miller even more than before. He is scum smh...
I am too ready to read the next book. This series seriously pulls you in. I'm loving it.

Max and Shatina are back in harm’s way again. This is a must-read series. If you love suspense and drama this a series, you want to check out. Awesome, awesome, and awesome on to the last book.

Surprise, Surprise keeps the momentum of the series going in the best way. The suspense ramps up, the stakes feel higher, and every chapter pulls you deeper into the story. I loved seeing how the relationships continue to grow and shift. The crew is starting to feel less like a group of friends and more like a chosen family, with loyalty and care that really shows through in the hard moments.
This installment adds even more emotional depth while still delivering the tension and twists I’ve come to expect. I’m fully invested now and can’t wait to jump into the next one to see where this journey takes them.

Wow!!!!
I love it! These characters have been through it. I could not put it down. I don't do spoilers! You have to read it for yourself.
I waited a minute for this book to come out and I am glad it was a good wait! Read it for yourselves. She has outdone herself again as usual.

Wow! Max and Shatina survived another bad situation! Her sister need to be a bit more grateful! So sad for those that lost their lives! They still have a major enemy to deal with. This should be the last big hurdle they need to tackle, but keep in mind , their adversary is very ruthless!! Onto the finale!! This series is so enthralling with so many twists and turns!!

Surprise indeed! - Brighton's truly nefarious nature comes to light in this one. The golden one has become a wildcard Shatina and the gang never saw coming. Another great addition to the series, with twists and turns that will leave you dizzy. So good!! I almost don't want to finish. Narration perfect as always.
