Another epic K G Karunathilaka translation with 7 short stories by the great Nikolai Gogol. This book first came out in 1998 and they have printed this second edition only few weeks ago. I must have read this anthology at least twice before in the past but felt like I was reading some stories for the very first time. Gogol's writing style is quite different from other Russian authors. Specially I feel like his horror stories are bit underrated. These stories are well ahead of its time and can be read over and over again.
