This is book one in a new series from a new author for me, it had a lot going on, a second chance at love and it left me with some questions. I thought the story moved along quickly, it references the past had speculation about the past, present and to an extent the future. The second chance at love worked for me for the most part and I did want them to to make it out alive and be together. I wasn't always sure who was good and who was bad in this and I hope that the questions I have about certain characters, the move and the Alliance itself will be answered as the series continues.
