The summer vacation of the first year came, and my life as a human ended.
I met a handsome, hot, and charming guy at my aunt's place at the beginning of my holiday. I thought it was just a crush that most girls would have, until this guy named Asher told me, that I'm a wolf shifter. Then, a brand new world opened for me.
I've never expected too much from my life since I witnessed the death of my parents. I've never expected... to have freedom, to have someone by my side, to... have a mate.
Asher. He said I was his mate. I had the greatest time ever after accepting the true me as a wolf. I thought finally I could be happy. I thought I was free. But I should have known.

Elaine is in college and decides to go to her aunt's place located in a small town to spend her summer vacation. Having lost her both parents with a special sentimental necklace left her by her mother, and having gone through another loss, her grandmother only a year ago, she needs some time to make things fall into perspective. Arriving at her destination, she notices that her aunt receives visits from all types of strangers at any time of the day or evening. In addition, one day, a cocky young man whom she has seen at her aunt's house, comes to her place and bluntly tells her that she is a werewolf shifter. Follow the author in this masterfully written story about the unknown, the discovery of freedom, love, and adventure where the author takes the reader virtually on a trip that reveals to be thrilling and full of twists and turns that have me rate this book with a 5 Stars rating.
I enjoyed the story line but I really didn't like how Elaine started off as a strong willed person and someone who knew what they wanted to someone who hangs off his every word and then turns into a good idiot when she meets Asher.
Asher himself I liked but I didn't understand why the author would use words like he giggled....As the next alpha I can't imagine them giggling...
The ending was a contradiction to a bit earlier in the book but in saying that, I like and enjoyed the idea of the story as it was something different.
Sadly I did not connect with this story. It was lacking in depth and very fast pace. The characters felt one dimensional and the traits they were given just did not feel right. A giggling Alpha Heir does not feel fitting a lack lustre story for me I am afraid.
A quick read for me but a wonderful little story!! Different from most shifter stories, which was a pleasant surprise!!! Grab a copy and read and you’ll see what I mean !
I received a complimentary copy of the book and am giving my honest review. It's a good story, things go fast and the way some chapters end leaves a cliffhanger that makes it all the more dramatic.
