I think the only thing keeping me from loving these books is Fiona. I don't really think it's her personality that I don't like and she is definitely not as dumb as a lot, A LOT, of female fantasy mc but it's probably just her extrovert-ness that tends to make me cringe. Also in the frist book where she was all like "I'm not like other girls" (not a direct quote) which is so fucking stupid because lots of girls are just like her and saying "girls don't like me" which again is bs. If you have that attitude when meeting new people they are going to pick up on that and not want to be around you.
Anyways the stories are entertaining and the other characters are mostly good. The twist in this book was ok but if you read as many X-Men comics as I have, it's not surprising. I always expect it. I'm honestly more surprised when it doesn't happen.

P.S. I wrote at like 7% that there is a very wrong Mandalorian catch phrase and I guess goodreads didn't save it. But it is highly jarring and if it was ™️ then they really could of just not of put it in because "it is the way" was super cringy. Yall that didn't have to hear it twice in the audiobook are very very lucky! Very lucky! Also I hope to the gods it was a trademark thing and not just a super bad quote.

Astounding and Impressive!

As a series-ender, this book is, to quote the stories’ lead-heroine, “amaze-balls,” and I “heart it hard!!!!” Once you’ve read you will have to agree, amiright?

You will NOT want to pick this book up if you have not read the 14 books which precede it. I mean you COULD since the authors craft their stories well and one can easily pick up the plot.

However, the greatest joy and the most outrageous humor which are encapsulated in this series can only be experienced when one has the full history. Believe me when I tell you there is too much to summarize or describe here. Auburn and Michael have outdone themselves with the family Cumhaill, their antics and personalities.

As the end to a series they also hit all the necessary points, closing storylines and settling the affairs of all the major and even minor characters. It’s a nice, although, not very “tidy,” wrap-up to a phenomenally fun and engaging series.

I say it’s not a “tidy” ending since it ends with a big mess. However, this ”mess” is only tangentially connected to the series so that the series can end in peace. What it DOES do, is leave that mess as the substance for the next series which will follow in a few months. In case you couldn’t tell, I not only have no complaints about a follow-up series, I’ve also already pre-ordered the first book. My only complaint is that June seems too far away. Amiright???

If you haven’t read the first 14 books, do yourself a favor and do so now. Then read this one and ENJOY!

I love this series and this book was the perfect culmination event! It wrapped up the main storyline and settled most of the main characters into their future roles. It still left enough to entice you to want to pick up the next series. However, if you made it this far and loved the books as much as me it didn't take much arm bending.

I'm never on board with the why choose trope but gosh this is one time I could have overlooked my dislike for it. I love Sloan but I adore Nikon and I would have been good with either. Sloan is likely better suited for Fiona but I would have loved to explore a chance with Nikon. I was not disappointed with any of the brother's mate choices as I think each one is their perfect compliment.

This is the perfect urban fantasy that doesn't take itself too seriously. The characters are well fleshed out and the plotlines don't get lost. I love this series and it has likely just become my new comfort read. Enjoy!

A solid 3 stars to round out a 3 star series. Fi just never gains maturity or grows in any way other than adding to her arsenal. Her friends felt like names she collected to drop rather than people she cared for. Even though her attitude was a good tool to move crisis after crisis into the plot, she just felt one of those people who likes to say she's a good person but never does much other than the superficial to back it up, which isn't someone you'd typically root for. I've found that those types of people typically don't garner the admiration of good or powerful people (Garnet, Nikon, Merlin, etc) because those types are usually adept at seeing through to the "actions speaking louder than words".
As the gods were portrayed as eternal, all-powerful narcissists, Dionysus would've been the only character believable to ride the Fi wagon (ha!) because her self-involved self-importance would've felt like the gods' "normal" environment.

A book you wont want to put down

Omg this last book of the first series is amazing! I couldnt wait for the books to come out everytime one ended. I love where the story ended. But im also glad that we get to see more, its awesome the reward the family receive. Im glad fionna secret wish came true, i was hopping that was going to happen.
I would recommend the book to those that love a great story about love and family and great adventures.
To the authors, i wanted to say thank you for creating a story rhat we can fer lost in were we can let go of reality for a time and exist in a world of magic and adventure, this whole series i would start reading and had a hard time stopping. Those are the kind of stories that are worth it , thank you for sharing with us you ceeativity and talent. Look foward to what comes next.

Yes! Loved it.

I’ve been waiting for the final confrontation between Clan Cumhaill and the antagonists, and although this didn’t go quite the way I thought, I was more than happy with how it ended… well, I thought this was the end 😉

Anyway, I loved that each of the major players had a role in what went down, and that we got to see a little of the fallout that ensued. Then after reading the epilogue I flicked a page or two further and to my delight I saw that there is a second series set a few years in the future and I am absolutely giddy at the thought of seeing what a few years of more chaos has done to this amazing group of characters. Highly recommend, and well worth the 15 books.

Excellent and exciting...

If you can, read the entire series one after another. It is exciting, full of drama, hilarity, and many myths and legends you are probably familiar with, including some you may not know. It is wonderful reading about family that loves one another and each other so much that they would willingly give up their lives for each other and even the world. Some of the villains become less so because of It ( the heroine ) and some more so. But with all the excitement and battles, you learn at least one thing, everything must be in balance or it all falls apart. I have completed this series and look forward to the continuation of the series in a new presentation. Exciting and action filled adventures will continue, YAY!!

Urban Druid 15

This has been one of the best book series I have had the luck to read. I fell in love in the first couple of chapters of the first book of the Chronicles of an Urban Driud and have read for hours on end to finish it completely. I have laughed tears at the antics going on, I have almost cried, I have engulfed this whole story line and felt like I was there with the characters experiencing it with them. The way the characters meshed with each other was wonderfully done. Thank you both so much for such a beautiful and totally awesome time in the wee hours of the night as I read. I look forward to more books by you two.

Mischief Managed

From about book 10 I lost all semblance of self control and raced ahead without bothering to leave reviews as one should for such a great series.
I totally blame the authors - if the books weren't so bloody good I might I left reviews in a more timely manner. Once I get some sleep I'll go and write a review or six next year (ie,. Tomorrow)
Thank you authors for making my seven days of CV19 isolation such an easy time with 15 brilliant tales.
Happy New Year to all who have peace in your hearts. To those that don't Bruin and the Dragons could do with a snack or six.

The fight for the light…

Nooooo, the final book in this series, but oh does it go out with a bang!!! Tempest and Anderle have created a fantastic clan of characters that grow from strength to strength with everything they have to face in the fight for the light. An absolute definite must read series with snark, sass, adventure, action and many many laugh out loud moments.
Yesssss, we have more Fiona and clan coming, now I can put my porch forks And and Aub away…lol
Can’t wait to check it out!

Best book series in fantasy and love

This series of books was not only a fun read but also a bit of a mystery, a lot of fantasy and most importantly, a reminder to all that with the love of a good family and great friends that everything will work out the way that is supposed to be.......I will miss all of these characters and sincerely hope that the authors will consider a few follow up stories so that I can rest easy knowing that they did indeed live long and happy lives

A joy and a pleasure to read 💜💜

This book, just like all it's predecessors in the Urban Druid series, is a joy! It has action, magic, comedy but most of all, it has heart. You fall in love with the Clan Cumhail, the whole extended tribe, and find yourself wishing you could portal into the Grove to play with the bunnies! Looking forward eagerly to the next chapter in their adventures xx

a good end or a good new beginning

A fun ride and pleasurable read. This was to be the end of the series, or so I thought… in reality the author did some really good word smithing because while loose ends were tied up well, the ending does set it up so a continuation can happen if that becomes something the author wants, but could also still be an ending. A fun read with twists, family, and jokes (and magic of course), definitely worth the read.

Druids, dragons and dynamic destinies!

Druids, check! Dragons, check! Destinies, ding ding ding!!
This 15 book series is incredibly addictive!
One day an ordinary Irish-Canadian lass accepts an invitation to visit grandparents she never knew in Ireland....
Fast paced, funny, exciting shenanigans fill each page, with a heap of family and friends embraced and celebrated. Add magic, faeries and races of every ilk and you join the family fun. It's magical!

Great series!

I really enjoyed every book in this series! I loved the way the family interacted. The back and forth banter was hilarious! I'd love to see some future stories involving some of the side characters like Xavier and his girlfriend, and I'd love to see Nikon get a girlfriend and Emmet get back together with the white witch. I'd even enjoy reading a book about Death falling in love and becoming one of the good guys!

I have to say, this is the best book out of the 15 book series! This book will bring tears and joy and keep you reading when you know you need to get up the next morning and go to work. I look forward to reading what's in store next. A stand alone novel would be great on the history of the greeks and their take on how they met First and their take on how things went working with and being a part of the Cumhail family.

great series

Even though this series started off with a bang and hooked me, I still held reservations because of how long the series was, as sometimes stories can be drug too far out.
For Fi’s story, this was not the case. From a start to finish, this series drew me in and continued twisting and turning to keep my attention. Then it all came crashing together on the last book and wrapped up wonderfully.
On to the case files!

Extraordinary!

I highly recommend this magical book, and the fascinating series associated with it, to readers who love reading kick butt Urban Fantasy.
I'd like to thank whoever decided to continue this series with case files as I find these characters, (human & other), very entertaining. I'm eager to read the 1st book in the continuation of this series.
Enjoy!

Absolutely loved the ride

Another great collaboration. An awesome series. Through all 15 books the ball was never dropped. And not one misspelled word! Lately I've seen a lot. Don't let this sit in the TBR pile. You can binge it and its a !it better than some of the shows you have binged on Netflix 😎😍

Love this series!!!

I feel like part of the family every time I read this series. I hope it continues because I want to see all kinds of hijinks ensue. I love Dionysus and his journey is amazing. I really want to see more of her and Sloan and the intensity of their relationship. I want Nikon to get a girlfriend. Love to see a book from his point of view.

series wraps up satisfyingly in book 15 but leaves hooks if the author decides to revisit this place.

I enjoyed the series. It’s got magic, action, family and friends.
I’d give it a 4.6 or 4.7 a big plus is that the series ends nicely in book 15 but the author left a hook or two to tie new plot arcs to

Great ending to the series

This is one of the best series out there. Each new book in the series was always out on the top of my tbr list. Fiona and her family, the storylines and the characters make the books really hard to put down. The ending to this chapter of the series was so worth reading and I cannot wait to start the next chapter.

It was good. A bit ho hum in parts. Anticlimactic when up against all the build up of the last 14 books. I thought and hoped it would be a knock down dragged out fight. It wasn't.
I am glad there is a new series starting.
I hope the family values, love and comedy are ever present.
WOW Reading my review it's full of I this and I that....A very me me me type of job. Shocking hahaha

You had me crying

I thought for sure you wouldn't let that be all of the C clan. I just don't know if I can wait that long for the new books. This was the best reading. I would enjoin any one who loves adventure, exotic places and roll em up bang bang to get started with book one of the Chronicles of an Urban Druid . Then keep reading there's 14 more.

MAGIC MANAGED!

When I started this series I thought I would read a few of the books, get tired of them and move on.Well, that didn't happen. The books are well written, consistent and although there are a few phrases Fi uses way too much, the dialogue is outstanding. Well worth the time to read all 15 .POOF!!
