I found this story very Interesting and Very true in terms of the Indian traditions and Indian System.

The boys in “The Friday Everything Change” were mad at the idea of the girls proposing that the girls carry the bucket of water. This led to the Boys pressurize the girls by saying things like “Break their Neck” trying to ask the teacher to forget the idea they proposed. Because of this, the girls found themselves getting closer and more open with each other about each other's feelings. This story is in a first-person perspective and the person found herself admiring Miss Ralston. This story is in a Man v/s Man conflict type where it is the Boys v/s Girls.

this eassy isnt just about girls and boys, it's about how, from a young age in our society, it is highlighted that men are the leaders and women are lesser than men.
one shall understand that misogynistic thoughts and opinions are planted in one's brain from a very young age for that person to think that this is the right order of things, this essay explains this thing in such a beautiful and easy way that it's just a shame that so less people know about this.

I'm using this short story to teach characterization. The author tells a compelling story and demonstrates how words - those said and unsaid - combine with action to build meaning. As a piece of short fiction, it is well-written and packs a lot of meaning in a very short format.
