A troubled marriage ending in an ugly divorce, and years of unhappiness made Jason Chambers decide to take a year hiatus and pull himself together. He leased a cabin upstate, closed his Manhattan apartment and resolved to find, if nothing else, some peace. However, an unexpected friendship with his new neighbor quickly turns into a crisis of identity surpassing any turmoil he's ever endured. Ridge Garrett brings out emotions and desires Jason can't understand. His unprecedented attraction to another man isn't helped by Ridge's fierce sexuality and persistent seduction. What begins as a painful period of self-discovery, rapidly evolves into a passionate affair and swift plunge into love. Jason finds true happiness finally within his reach. He'll have to overcome his destructive inner demons, and the dangers of a powerful Garrett family enemy willing to kill in order to keep that happiness. Until You is a candid, emotional story about learning self-acceptance and the inestimable value of family, desire between two devoted people, and love without boundaries of gender. This novel earned Stonehedge Publishing's Wildfire rating.

I enjoyed this book, however, I found it to be very "busy". There were a lot of characters and something is going on with everyone. There could certainly be a lot of spin-offs from this book. The author certainly knows her way around the kitchen and knows how to write about food.

There a lot of things that happen that aren't believable. Things are just resolved to quickly and easily, but too much detail here means I have to check the spoiler box. If you read it, I'm sure you'll figure out what I'm talking about. I also felt the book could have been edited better. If the guys "pissed and washed their hands" one more time I thought I would scream. Repeatedly using the same phrases and words (libidinous is unusual and to use it repeatedly is distracting), is a pet peeve of mine. Seriously authors, invest in a thesaurous or use the free ones online.

There is a lot of really hot sex (which is great!) and a tiny bit of voyeurism. One thing that puzzled me, is that Jason was straight and admitted to never looking at men until he met Ridge and immediately fell for Ridge, or had feelings for him, although he was confused by them. But they pretty much jumped right into a physical relationship right away. Jason never seemed to question this like you see in GFY novels, not that this is a GFY novel. But that always strikes me as unrealistic. When it's right-it's-right, but for a straight guy to jump straight into a gay relationship without seemingly having any doubts takes some of the realism out of it, IMO.

Now having griped like I have, I truly did like the story. Ridge was way too perfect and Jason could be a bit annoying at times but they are really hot together and I loved reading about them. I also really liked what seemed like dozens and dozens of the other characters. I personally would give it something like 3.5 stars because it's better than 3, but just not quite a 4 but for GoodReads, I didn't want to go as low as a 3, so it gets a 4. Whew...

Ridge is THE GaryStue. Name a quality, he have it. Name an activity, a sport, he play it. Don't forget that he is beautiful, sexy, an Adonis and fabulously rich. I found him insupportable.
Jason is pathetic, have no self confidence, no personality and yep, I found him insupportable.

I had the impression that the book was written in a X language and that it's was translated in English after with the help of Google Translation. Not a good idea.

I'm about 1/3 of the way through and I think I'm going to have to take a bit of a break/give up. The story is dragging and with the many, many editing errors (random words stuck in sentences where they make absolutely no sense, the wrong homonym being used - meet rather than mete, and, sin of all sins, "prostrate" when not talking about position) I've lost patience.

Very sweet love story. I enjoyed the characters, though I admit that I thought one was a bit too 'perfect'.
