Baby Let me Steal Your heart
I love Cassie Mint she is the queen of 1-hour romcoms. This is rough to take but her books are always the perfect length to make you gitty and swoon. I love the fact that she has this way of making you fall for the heroes and the villains.
This is no easy feat but she pulls it off every time. Our 🦹♀️ villain today is our lovely Tabby☺️!! Homegirl is a crook of the highest degree 📜. Like, should receive accolades from our friendly neighbors in Gotham city prison she’s that bad. However, our hero Spencer loves her and all her flaws. Everything about her makes him swoon and smile.
Like she is in his house robbing him and he begs her to not only stay but to be in his life. That’s a big deal because our little Tabby has never had anyone or anything to call her own. Please Watch these two fall in love in 60 minutes and I promise you’ll come back for more.

Woah! This novella did absolutely nothing for me. As much as I praise Cassie Mint's concepts, this one just didn't work. It could've been good but it felt rushed, drafty and unfinished.
Put simply, Tabitha is a burglar who has for mission to steal a sapphire from Spencer's penthouse, a billionaire tech guy. She gets caught by him and that's pretty much it. They instantly fall in love in a very unrealistic and weird way.
Spencer had potential to be interesting, with his nerdy and shy personality. He was besotted and very into Tabitha which I normally love but I don't know...something was missing. It was the same for Tabitha, she was assertive and confident which drew a nice contrast between the two of them, I just didn't feel their chemistry at all.
I thought the concept could've been nice if it'd been a standalone novel instead of a novella, with more meat around the bone. As a novella, I just didn't get to care about anything that was happening. Their meeting, their instalove, their short separation-reunion and then we were already at their happy ending...It all went too quickly and I didn't like that. It didn't make sense.

Would I recommend this novella? It wasn't terrible but it was admittedly below average. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this but if you just feel like reading something quick and somewhat cute, go for it!

This turned out to be a fun and guilty-pleasure read. It's been a long time since a sexy nerd MMC is featured in a book so I was happy to have encountered the character Spencer Arnoult. He is all kinds of sweet and he makes the FMC Tabitha shine in her own way (despite the fact that she is a thief. Lol)
I feel like these kinds of stories are the best way to break a reading slump. Thief, for example, made me smile and giggle as these two characters collided in an awkward yet hilarious way. Despite getting stressed and furious with what Tabitha did at his house, he instead fell for her. Sounds really unbelievable if we think about it, but man, I was buying it! Lol. Their chemistry was insane and I loved how sweet their story turned out in the end. It's my first Cassie Mint read and I adore her writing style which was entertaining and engaging. I would definitely read more books from this author!

Aww, this was cute as heck! Super safe and fluffy read. I probably won't remember it a month from now, but it's a sweet story to read to pass time (or as brain bleach after reading one of the more disturbing stories 👀).
This story is about Tabby and Spencer. Spencer is a rich tech tycoon, who owns a giant sapphire in his private collection. Tabby is a cat burglar, and has infiltrated Spencer's house to steal his treasure. She takes her time, sneaking some of his leftovers and leisurely eating them in his house. Little does she know that Spencer didn't go on his business trip, and he's aware (and freaked out) that he has a home invader. But when he sees his unwanted guest, it's love at first sight, and Spencer will use any excuse to keep Tabby with him.
Tabby:
Hot muscled babe with contortionist abilities. Tabby is a kleptonaniac that loves all the shiny things. Until Spencer. Then she leaves the shinies but steals small things for his attention (or to keep to remember him by). She was adorable, and reminded me of a dragon that hoards stuff, but only pertaining to Spencer by the end. Tabby certainly was a weird one though - she breaks into Spencer's house, dawdles and eats his food, and calmly surrenders after she realizes Spencer is in the house. I love that Spencer kept pushing for her to escape and not get arrested, but girl was like, "Naw. I must pay for my crimes 😌."
Spencer:
I loved that Spencer was so different from the normal heroes in terms of both personality and looks. He's got that nerdy sexy look going on, with glasses. He was so cute with how awkward and nervous he was when he first realized he had an intruder in his home, but then got so protective of Tabby after he saw her. I also love how he was drooling over Tabby's muscled body - the man's not afraid to admire a fit amazon. He had his moments where he went semi feral after Tabby left him and he didn't know how to find her. As an aside, I was shocked (and a bit disappointed) that it wasn't made clear if Spencer was a virgin. The fact it was glossed over makes it seem like he wasn't, but this was one story where I feel like it would've been cute and made sense if he was.

* Hero surprisingly was not clear whether a virgin or not.
* No OM or OW drama, no cheating.
* No condoms or protection.
* HEA with epilogue and pregnancy.

Well, it was a very short and thrilling read. I really enjoyed it!
A tech-obsessed guy and a thief? What a duo. I kind of wanted more of them, but yeah, it’s a short story, so it wrapped up quickly. Still, I liked it, it’s silly but so much fun to read.
I needed something quick, and this was perfect. 🐈💎

3 stars. OK, I think I'm done with novellas for at least a day. LOL. This was short and sweet and just ok. I really have a hard time with the kind of instant-love that this book had. She's ROBBING him ffs, and he just wants to get in her pants right away. It's a bit much.
Safe; no om/ow, heroine a virgin, age gap but unclear by how much, no cheating, hero seemed to have been celibate considering some of the comments he made about not being touched for a long time.

Cute and short. A shameless burglar and a billionaire. Spencer saw Tabitha in his penthouse and got captivated immediately and she felt the same. Instead of telling the cops about her, he let her stay for one more day. Eventually the next day came and she left saying he deserves someone better, which is true btw hahaha. Anyway, a week passed and both of them were miserable. He bought a lot of things to lure her out and Tabby's friend saw his plans, and she told her about it. She went to him and they confessed their love for one another and got their HEA with a three years later for the epilogue.

I really don't. Cassie Mint's are some of my favorites. Thief is no exception, I loved it.
Spencer is a nerdy tech billionaire who recently acquired a giant sapphire and Tabitha is the thief who is determined to steal it. When she hears that he's going out of town, she takes advantage of the opportunity and manages to smuggles herself inside his penthouse. She makes herself a little too at home and soon realizes he's very much at home. Logically, when Spencer realizes he's not alone, he calls the police but when Spencer and Tabitha actually meet face to face, sparks fly. Spencer, who instantly falls for Tabitha, offers her a deal. She'll show him how she got in and help him with his security and then he'll let her go, no police involved. Tabitha agrees. It doesn't take long for both of them to realize they don't really want to leave each other.
Spencer and Tabitha had great chemistry and I just loved them together. I loved that they both realized that their relationship was unconventional but they totally embraced it and went with it.
They were perfect for each other and I was rooting for them from the minute they met. Was it over the top? Of course! I wouldn't have it any other way. It was short, sexy, and totally scratched my insta-love itch.

I do slightly feel like I am cheating on Jessa by reading another novella-only author BUT considering Jessa wont even let me buy her books physically, this is m rebelling.
Honestly, I would consider this a less unhinged Jessa Kane and I enjoyed it. Literally my only comment is the epilogue was to short, and where Jessa's leave me feeing satisfied this left me feeling like I was missing a few pages

This book was over when I started. I fell in love with the instalove and couldn't put it down. For a short/novella I wanted soooo much more!!

Short, sweet, and simple. Spencer and Tabitha were just two lonely souls that finally found their forever. Even though the circumstances of their meet is questionable lmaooo (her literally breaking into his home), the story was so cute.
