My name is Lara, and my body deserves to be sensually ravaged.
I hate to boast, but I’m quite a handful in the sack nowadays.
Not like when I was a naive nineteen-year-old, fit as a racehorse body, but no clue how to ride.
But back then, only one thing mattered, sex with my sculpted and hot Ragnar.
We are werewolves, and Ragnar was the alpha’s son.
And I was the daughter of a slave.
Ragnar was too scared to defy daddy.
Eventually, I lost his heart.
He inflamed all my passionsThen burned my heart to the ground
I dreamt of marriage, kids and happiness – only for it to all crumble away…
With a thirst for vengeance, I climbed to the top. The first woman to lead our tribe.
My longing turned to lust; my tents were always filled with a rotating harem.
Four of my best warriors. Sweaty, sexy and dirty.
Yet, I had only one
Stand over the ruined ashes of the Blood Clan’s Island, and avenge my sweet Ragnar.
This is book one of Rejected Warrior Queen series with a strong heroine, heavy steam, action and four sexy beasts. Rejected Wolf is a 30k novella and ends on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual scenes.
I was excited to get stuck into this book, I love shifter romances, especially when there's a rejection involved 🤣 The main Female character was really well written, I like that she didn't turn into a drippy mess when she was rejected. Lara comes out on top despite all that is thrown at her, I really enjoyed her character and the way she Interacted with her Harem.
The book was a bit choppy at the beginning when we jumped from the past to the present, if there was a bit more definition at the beginning of the chapters then this could have been avoided. There was quite a bit of fluff about boat building that I felt could have been taken out, it nice to see the research be done for a story but I felt it had no place apart from a scene filler. Also some of the language during the spicey scenes were off putting and made me slightly cringe.
"feeling his hard on bumping against the top of her uterus,"
I absolutely loved Amber's take on vampires, I thought the way she described them and the way they lived was very well done.
The reverse Harem element of this book was completely different to any RH I've read before and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't the main focus of the story, the plot was strong enough the the RH was just an element.
I would like to see where book 2 take the story after the big twist at the end of book 1.

This book was different, I really struggled with the time hopping as well as the constant moving between characters in the same chapter instead of having designated ones. Lara lost the love of her life Ragnar after him rejecting her. His father never approved of her but she fought to earn her place as a warrior. Ragnar went down in battle while Lara rescued his father. Later she was named leader of the pack and had a harem of lovers but no one could compare to Ragnar. The spice was eh and there was a lot of backstory that I struggled through. I am unsure if I will be reading the second book. Holy Mother of absolute cliffhangers. I am an absolute sucker for RHs but this one was so completely different than any of the others I've read. Lara is an absolute badarse and she knows it. Her harem of men are just there for pleasure to fill the void her first love left.
From start to finish this book leaves you guessing as to what will happen next and the ending will floor you.
Definitely recommend to anyone who likes shifters and RH alike.

This was an interesting novella, as the author labeled the book. Twisted souls, rejected lovers, and so much more. You can feel the heartache and all the emotions even though the author didn't really put much into it. The way she wrote the storyline allows you to bring those emotions to the forefront.
That ending, though. Wow... I was not expecting that. It was definitely one for the books. I really hope the author decides to continue this series. Lost love and all that with a really strong and independent FMC.
I had a bit of trouble connecting with the characters here I'm not sure why The story uses flashbacks to fill in character background as well as to introduce the unique shifter status It is a bit of Viking wolf meets vampire I liked that our heroine had more backbone that most of the males The twist at the ending was a surprise - though there were hints It was a good read just missed the mark for me
I enjoyed the story and loved that the FMC was strong and went from “rags to riches” and found out more and more about her past as the book went on. Really interested to see what happens next and wished I could read the next one right now
If you enjoy action and adventure with a baddie FMC and a side of spice, this is for you! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily
For me this was barely 4* I struggled with it. RH rejected mate.
The fmc while a strong female physical I just couldn't not connect to. The past present started giving me a headache. I would rather the past been a prequel.
Her rejected mate dies and his father who forced the rejection because of her bloodline then makes her queen was to me a slap in the face but hey thats just me. There is a cliffhanger ending
This is the story of Lara, who makes her own destiny even thought she can't forget her love for Ragnar. It is a story that goes back and forth as Lara remembers where she came from. All the love, then rejection, the battles, and memories are all emotional and well written. I am looking forward to the next book. Good story line and I did like the characters but I was confused in the timeline. They lived in a way that seemed centuries ago but had current century knowledge. There were a-lot of grammatical errors, missing words or sentences, words put in the wrong places or not deleted when fixed. There was an incredible amount of inner dialog which I usually don’t mind but I didn’t feel it was necessary since it was repetitive. Needed more dialog between characters and there were definitely some things I felt could have been added but got left out. This story has so much potential, just needs some tweaks otherwise it was enjoyable.
An interesting, different shifter story that had me completely gripped by the end. Lara was fabulous. Action packed with so many twists and turns. Slightly confusing with the timeline but still a great read.

A new author for me, so I wasn't really sure what to expect really. I really enjoyed this book. This author really knows how to create a world that you can really find yourself getting lost in. A great start to the series and I cannot wait to read more
