This was spicier than I thought it would be! This is a very simple and easy to understand read. A lot of telling and not showing so I do think it could’ve been a hair longer. Maybe like 10 more pages or so to really show some of the plot. Tbh I enjoyed the is enough that I’d read it if it were novella length!!! Cute simple sweet spicy. 🌶️ solid baby read.

I hate that there's a word count for these reviews because I only have one word for this story: horrible.

I already dislike insta-love, but on top of that, the writing is just bad. Because these are supposed to be short stories, everything is rushed and it just doesn't make logical sense. (Your sister's "crazy" ex trashes your apartment, your best friend tells you he loves your baby sister and you just sit there? Please.)

It's just too much, too fast... I didn't realise it's a novella when I got it on kindle so it's my fault cause I know that I don't like short stories. The love confession scene really made me laugh out loud because I just didn't expect it 😂
The writing wasn't bad, I think I would have enjoyed it if it was longer. It's just not my cup of tea... I need to see the tension 🔥

Olivia was running but as far as her family were concerned she was looking to make a fresh start in a new town but what she was really doing was trying to escape the clutches of her ex. Arriving in Darlinton to stay with her brother and his family until she can get herself back on her feet is the plan but with in minutes she trips and ends up on the pavement and being helped by Aron Langston the man helping her is nothing like the boy she knew as a child, and her big brothers best friend. From that moment on she feels connected to Aron, even though she tries to fight the connection it’s a futile fight, but can she really put her trust into another man or even start anything new when she’s still hiding from her ex?

Aron Langston has spent every waking hour trying to make the gym that he co-owns with his brothers into the success that it undoubtedly is, he has no time for romance that is until; Olivia Brook’s literally falls into his path. He can’t believe that the woman he is seeing is the little girl he remembers from years ago, she has his attention from that moment on, he is hooked on her even knowing she is off limits. But when Aron learns of the danger Olivia is in will he really be able to stay away, or will he do everything he can to keep her safe and will his friendship with Kade survive?

This is the second book in the Langston Brothers series and perfect to escape the real world for an hour. Olivia is going through something that no one should and is doing what she must in order to keep her family safe, Aron wasn’t looking for love but once he finds it, he won’t give it up without a fight. Enjoyable read and you will just love Snoop (Awesome name for a dog if you ask me) 4* recommended read.

This is the 2nd book in the Langstone Brothers series featuring Aron and Olivia's wonderfully exciting age-gap romance. We get a real page-turning story full of action, chemistry, danger and excitement and it does not disappoint. Olivia picked the wrong man and she's paying for it by having to run to her brother's house and while she was running she tripped. She's helped by a gorgeous hunk and it's her brother's best friend Aron and you can see the sparks fly between them the air is electric. Aron knows that Olivia is off-limits so he really tries to fight his attraction to her. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. É, não deu pra mim, não. A forma como Olivia lidou com tudo não me agradou. A família dela sendo ameaçada e ela vai embora, sem avisar que eles corriam perigo??? Poxa, ia deixá-los serem pegos de surpresa? Caramba, pelo menos desse a eles uma chance de se prepararem e se defenderem. E ela obviamente precisando de ajuda, com medo de voltar sozinha pra casa, Aron vai e se oferece para levá-la pra casa e ela faz o quê? Agradece? Não, diz que não precisa que cuidem dela. Meio segundo atrás ela estava torcendo para ter companhia pra voltar pra casa e quando suas preces foram atendida, bancou a independente. Há uma diferença em ser independente e ser burr@. E ingrata também. A coisa toda poderia ter sido melhor trabalhada. Só não dei 1 estrela porque o mocinho era fofo e o epílogo foi também.

Love Out Of Left Field -
Olivia thought her new life would be nice and quiet without men, but what she didn’t count on was running into her older brother’s HOT best friend. Aron on the other hand, felt like he had been zapped by electricity when he laid eyes on Olivia, but he soon tried to put a stop to his lusting feelings, the moment he realised who she was. Their chemistry was undeniable and this was tested, but failed, when they were put in close proximity to each other.

This sweet and beautifully written story, took me through a myriad of emotions, but left my heart singing with joy by the time I finished reading it. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

This is book number 2 of the Langstone Brothers series and focuses on Aron and Olivia. Olivia is on the run from a threatening ex boyfriend that won't leave her alone. She decides to go stay with her brother and his family while she decides what she wants to do. While on her way to her brother's house, she runs into Aron who just happens to be her brother's best friend. When they see each other again after a few years, they are shocked by the intense feelings that get brought up. They both know pretty quickly that there is something special between them. I really enjoyed this story! It was a great addition to the series.

Olivia is running from her ex boyfriend. He has been harassing her, bullying her and threatening her. She is coming to her brother’s place to regroup. At the bus stop she runs into one of her brother’s best friend, Aron. They haven’t seen each other for ten years. Aron helps her get to her brother’s and then tells her to stop by the gym for a possible job. Aron is the “good guy”. Olivia needs a “good guy” because her ex isn’t done with her. This story had lots of drama, suspense, danger and hot sexiness. The characters are very likable and it makes the story easy to read and enjoyable. It is a great little read. I enjoyed it from the first page to the last.

Olivia shows up at her brothers place, trying to get away from a crazy stalkerish ex. She reconnects with Aron, her brothers best friend, who walks her there and also offers her a job. The characters are terrific, with great backstories, intense feelings from scared to elated, determination and protection. The storyline has drama, danger, friends amassing friends to help track the creep, a big old dog that protects her, and close caring family. Loved the chemistry between Olivia and Aron, along with the great banter, old memories of horror films and nice surprises. Great ending that pulls it all together with a wonderful celebration.

I really liked this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable although it touches on abuse and stalking. The characters were interesting and likable. The relationship between Olivia and Aron changed very quickly although they had known each other for years. Olivia had gone to visit her brother and to start over after a bad relationship. Aron was Olivia's brother Kade's best friend. I liked how protective Aron was of Olivia. I liked how the story ended but I wanted another epilogue further out because I'm greedy. I recommend reading this book.

Olivia, the female lead, has left her home, due to a stalking threat. Aron, the male lead, is her brother’s best friend. When he discovers her situation, he offers her protection whilst trying to ignore the attraction. When her stalker comes to town, Aron saves her, and the stalker is arrested for other criminal charges.

This short story is typical over the top fun, dual POV, and makes me wish stalking was so easily resolved in real life! It was steamy and a nice life break. I received a complimentary copy and this is my voluntary honest review.

Sparks are flying between the two. Hot sweating steamy sparks. But will they act on their chemistry, or will they ignore their feelings.

You will have to read this story to find out, because I will not take a cosy afternoon/evening from you, by revealing the ending ;)

Aron is not going to let anything happen to Olivia, when he finds out the truth, he does all he can to protect her.

Great story with the perfect amount of tension, mystery and danger that you will not want to put the book.

Probably one of the shortest books I’ve read for some time.

Also one of the most basic in terms of the premise and the characters.

Plot line is a crazy ex and the FMC moves to live with her brother. On the same day she moves she runs into his best friend (he remembers her from childhood) and within what seems like days they are in love … after one intimate scene together.

No depth of emotion, no real suspense - very beige. Disappointing.

giving this a 2.75 stars i’m rounding up to 3 to be generous. the writing was fine but it was so short that i didn’t have time to really care about the characters, and they literally fell in love after knowing each other for like two days??? (sure they knew each other as kids or w/e but that doesn’t count lmao) anyways it had so much potential and if there was more of an actual plot and buildup to their love story i’d eat this up but it was way too short and way too instalove for me

When Aron meets Olivia on the street he doesn’t recognise her at first, but he quickly realises she’s his best friends little sister. When Olivia confesses what she’s running away from, Aaron vows to protect her. He can’t help it if he falls in love with her in the meantime.

Another short read with a touch of spice. This one had a tad more darkness and danger than the last but it was still an easy read. I’m enjoying this series!
