He's watched her forever. She's wanted him since the beginning. But the universe isn't going to make this easy...
Ryak is a strong, silent, drop dead gorgeous alien warrior, and he doesn't even acknowledge my existence. But when he needs a fake mate, it means he's going to have to choose me.
I'm the only human female not yet attached to a winged alien warrior on this dystopian planet. I’m the only one who can carry off the pretence of being his mate at the gathering of the species where the fate of this world will be decided. The Gryn are expected to send a mated warrior and that's where I come in.
I'm only supposed to pretend to be his mate, and I can't reveal my feelings for him, no matter how close he gets.
He doesn’t know my secret. Not that I’ve been watching him since I arrived on this alien planet. Not that I’d give anything to be his.
My secret is dark and deep. It’s about who I was before I was taken from Earth.
And it’s the reason I can never be his.
When the entire planet changes, can these two lost souls find each other, in among the secrets and lies? Is it possible to find what you really want when you can't admit to your past? This steamy Sci-Fi Romance will capture your heart, forever. No cheating, no cliffhanger and a stunning HEA!
The story of Bianca and Ryak. She’s got a shady, and resented, past. This is the last book in the first series, and introduces Ryak’s specialized team, including Strykr, Jay, Mylo, and the others. It’s also got an interesting combination of instalove fated mates and fake relationship to achieve goal themes.
Ryak also has a stronger thoughtbond than the other seniors, something he takes advantage of as a sort of spymaster. But this isn’t really explored. It’s mentioned but it’s not central to the story. The story is central to the story.
But we do get a better description of Ustokos and the lair.
“It lights up the building, set in a cliff face, the waterfall churning out from underneath, the same water that supplies all our needs and our healing pools. Once built for pleasure by our ancestors, it’s the perfect fortress for us now.”
And I loved this:
“I can’t let them know, but the young mercs are literally the cutest things I’ve ever come across. Not only do they have a lust for life that is unmatched in any other species anywhere, but they have a habit of being fluffy whenever they are happy. Oly has reached peak fluff as he puts down the stool before walking away with a swagger of a job well done.”
And.
““It was sunny.” He looks at his feet, “I like a sun bath.” A warrior that likes a sun bath, whatever next?”
So cute. But I don’t really get this…
“Because that’s what fate is. Two souls that float forever until they join.”
I’m squinting really hard.
Glitches: “…and human men I knew pale in insignificance beside…” — significance “…I have to tell myself as make my way through…” — as I make “Above the sticky clouds, the closest of Ustokos three moons is bright.” — Ustokos’ “Save for the tech you found in the hidden in our lair.” — found hidden “chaise-longe” — longue “…the filth from Ustokos atmosphere.” — Ustokos’ “…my desire is all the great because she knows I’m looking at her.” — greater “I lift my lips in a snarl as he smiles, which wipes it instantly from his face and stride after her.” — face, and
The only thing that doesn’t really fit with the heroine’s background is her age. She’s 35 but was still under her stepfather’s thumb? Only just getting set to go to school? The timing seems a few years off with her.
“I’ve spent my whole life pretending to be someone I wasn’t to please someone else. To not end up dead. I’ve been abducted to an alien planet, imprisoned, and rescued.”
Again, it just seems like a long time to put up with that crap without escaping. Or before her stepfather would use her for his own nefarious purposes.
But these Gryn totally make up for any glitches. And as Ryak says of Bianca,
“She is a female to be cared for, but she has proved herself to be a skillful negotiator and diplomat, as well as being good under pressure and an excellent escape artist. Plus from the way my warriors react to her, they are in awe of what she has achieved.”
The salutary “Guv” starts here referring to Ryak, but we’ll see that further used in the next series with regard to Strykr.
We also see an answer to a question I’ve had for several books. If they are all eating Maraha, what do the Maraha eat? So that was nice.
Overall I appreciated a lot of information about the world building given in this last book. It serves as a great segue into the next series, and the couple of Bianca and Ryak are perhaps the most evenly matched pair yet.
Kidnapped from Earth by Aliens. Evil aliens taking people from a place they shouldn't. Taking them for their own gain. Then taken again. These women find themselves in a nightmare of alien creatures who treat them badly. Being rescued by clawed, winged, fanged alien Angels. Can they be trusted?
These alpha scary beautiful warriors are looking for a better way of life, a life free of slavery, tyranny, and dictators fighting a war they hope to one day win. It is amongst this hostile enemy that encounter the fated eregri. A place where woman have not been for a very long time.

🔥 “I will never leave you, my pet. You became mine the moment you surrendered to my touch.” ~~~ Ryak is the head of Gryn security. He’s a strong and silent warrior that has always been keeping to himself. Because he’s hiding a dark, dark secret. I absolutely adored him! He’s so devoted to keeping everyone safe and he’s so fiercely protective. Even more, he’s one fearsome, possessive and ruthless alpha male with a heart of gold. Ryak is just magnificent!
And no woman could be more perfect for him than Bianca! I loved how sweet and caring she is. But most of all, I absolutely adored that she was so cool and didn’t break under pressure and that she was such a resourceful escape artist. Even more, her diplomatic skills were quite admirable and she was such a skillful negotiator. I loved her so, so much!
Everything that happened between Bianca and Ryak was absolutely perfect! Both have been longing for each other for quite some time and both were keeping dark secrets. But they were a fantastic team and their chemistry was absolutely undeniable. And soon their fake mating inevitably transformed into scorching hot, passionate and forever love. I really loved how much they helped each other to lay the ghosts from their past to rest. And their banters and teasing were so fun to read. Who knew a fearsome Gryn warrior could blush?!
Moreover, the storyline was fantastic! Everything happening in this book - the gatherings, the negotiations, the betrayals, the twists, the unexpected discoveries - kept me glued to the pages till the very end. And I couldn’t help but absolutely adore the whole Gryn elite team - those mercs were so sweet and adorable!
Overall, the story is a fantastic finale to an absolutely amazing series. It’s filled with fast-paced action, twists, drama, danger, betrayals, secrets, hope, steamy romance and wonderful characters.
I absolutely loved it and cannot wait for the spin-off!
Ryak and Bianca's story did better then the others But there was still holes in the story. Let's get something clear. I have fun with the grin. Because I love the creatures and concepts. Hattie jacks creates they're so much fun. However, when it comes to the storytelling I find that there are a lot of holes and not only the plot but the character development that are to heroes undergo in order to reach a point of being together. The first point where I get confused is probably the very beginning. Rayak and Bianca are introduced as two solitary characters who keep to themselves and keep themselves from living a life for their own reasons. There's also the introductions are two main. However, when we see them finally get together, the obstacles that Hattie jacks put in place don't really seem to weigh on their decision to get involved. This is one of those instances where Hattie jacks uses the mating instinct as a conduit for the relationship to start. After the relationship has started, this is where we see the real problems. Begin where we are getting references to traumatic past and disbeliefs that could keep them apart. However, they never really play out in a significant way in the characters, actions, or the story. The character's relationships seem to progress smoothly despite the inner turmoil that the reader is led to believe based on each of the characters in our thinking. It's just a very confusing place to be where the conflict only resides in the character's head and then it transitions into the story in the last third of the book where there is a short break between the characters for some reason, but they eventually get back together a chapter later. This is a fun read. It has some spice in it. Some great elements of alien life. But overall the character development and progression of a relationship could be better.
It is time for the mysterious Ryak and secretive Bianca to go toe to toe
***** Rating: 5 stars Steam: 2.5 flames Genre/Tropes: Alien / Sci-fi Romance, Fated Mates, Enemies to Lovers-ish, Broken MMC, Fake relationship ***** Ryak is the head of security, and he lives to lurk in the shadows... observing what others do not want you to see... hearing what others do not want you to hear. Ryak uncovers everyone's secrets. Everyone but Bianca…
Bianca has been a closed door throughout the series so I was super excited to see what her backstory was and boy oh boy was it a doozy! Bianca has some serious baggage. She is strong and intelligent and very good at skulking in the shadows too.
What Ryak and Bianca don’t realize is they have both been watching the other from the shadows… and now they are about to come into the light.. As a fake mated pair. Uh oh… what could go wrong with that? A fated pair pretending to be mated… mwhahahahaha YES!
Ryak had me swooning several times… and his nest… ohhhh…. It was PERFECT!
Ryak and his team of Elite soldiers have a dangerous task and Bianca is going to be in the thick of it. There are secrets, betrayal, subterfuge, and this was an all around thrilling read!
This series has been chock full of fantastic stories, characters, world-building and spice! I adored the entire series and I am going to head on over to the spin-off series and start reading Stryker’s book!
I truly enjoyed this series and I am happy I gave this author a read! 5 books in 4 days… I gobbled them DOWN! Definite recommendation from me!
Hattie Jacks has outdone herself in this latest installment of Rogue Alien Warriors. In this offering we meet Ryak who was a big thing with Proto. Because of who he is and what he has done he keeps himself very separate from the rest of the lair, feeling he isn't worthy. He devotes himself to keeping everyone safe. Bianca is a human - daughter of an Earthly drug criminal. Brought up surrounded by grief, murder, bitterness she is also a loner. She has watched Ryak from a distance, knowing he is out of her league. But when the two of them come together unexpectedly to attend an important meeting between Mochi, Kajg and other off-worldly species - she is to be Ryak's pretend mate - there is no denying that sparks are present. The journey, betrayals, emotion, adventure, bitterness, grief, hopes for the future, making of new friends - it all comes together to mold into one of the most amazing stories I've read in a long time. It's long, but far from a tedious read. This amazing author holds our attention from start to finish. Highly recommended.
This story in the Rogue Alien Warrior series focuses on Bianca and Ryak. The human h, Bianca, has secrets about her past that have her holding herself back from friendships with the other humans and seeking a relationship with a Gryn, though she is attracted to Ryak and enjoys watching him. The H, Ryak, is a Gryn leader who likewise is troubled by his past. The two will face a series of challenges and adventures as they pose as a mated couple - the pretense of their relationship doesn't last long before it develops into some very hot & steamy sessions. The h and H are both very strong, multi-dimensional characters. The world building and ongoing storyline in this series is amazing - that said, since this is the fifth book in the series, they should be read in order if you want the full picture. The story gives Bianca and Ryak an HEA which leads into an upcoming new series, Elite Rogue Alien Warriors.
Forever is book 5 in the Rogue Alien Warriors series and I am in love with Ryak. He’s the quietest of the Gryn bunch, entirely stealthy, the most closed off and supremely dangerous yet… an angel down to his core.
Bianca has been the most mysterious of the abducted human females and her courage and strength know no bounds. She has been attracted to Ryak since the beginning but has hidden in the shadows.
I have been anxiously waiting to get to know more about this fated mate couple and Ryak’s elite warrior team and they do not disappoint. There was so much action, adventure, drama, and feathered frenzy that I could not put Forever down! And, such a great setup for the next book. I can’t wait!
Definitely read the Rogue Warrior series in order there are so many other Gryn who meet their fated mates and they all return in some manner in each book. Such a great binge read!
4.5 stars. Ryak, the male alien lead, is functionally the spymaster for his people. Bianca, the female human lead, was a gangster’s stepdaughter on earth and actually glad to be kidnapped. Whilst she’s attracted to him, she doesn’t want to be because she doesn’t want to play the secrets and lies games. Ryak doesn’t think he deserves a mate. But then they need to pretend to be mates…
This story is dual POV, well written and edited and the end of a story arc. I enjoyed the integration of characters from previous stories, as well as the relationship development between lead characters. The author has clearly set up the next story arc and that also looks interesting.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
It’s time to rebuild what was destroyed and representative who will be part of this important step are to be a mated pair. But with the mated Gryns’ mates all being pregnant, they are unwilling to put them at risk.
As a result, Ryak, an unmated Gryn, is to choose a human and pretend they are mates. Bianca and Ryak are the very best choices for this, both in experience and the fact that their chemistry is off the charts. Will they be able to carry out their mission? Will they be convincing as mates? And will they make that situation a reality at their first opportunity? With both of them having dark secrets, they are afraid to open up to each other. Will this mission convince them to trust the other fully?

Thought from other books this would be an espionage book. Where the human was used as a way to get into other situations to find more old planet civilization and enemy worms sites. Frankly do not buy the device would have wiped all of the bases of old group. Or that there were only a few of the evil worms stuck on the planet. Being a dna factory producer of good soldiers, slaves. But I like characters and story was entertaining. Looking forward to planet become home of others. Hopefully the planet is able to help revitalize the flora and fauna, as well support other livestock, etc. They definently need different iincome, food source. As well as engineering and architecture, buildings. The lairs are not good for hybrids
Wow. Just wow. I keep thinking this series can’t get any better, and then I read the next book. Forever was outstanding! It was that kind of good that makes you wish you could read faster and wish to slowly savor every page at the same time! Ryak and Bianca were a strong, and perfectly matched pair. Bianca was the kind of sassy, strong, female lead I love, with an awesome sense of humor. Ryak was that sexy rogue we all want as a book boyfriend! Many new Gryn warriors were introduced, and they were all so intriguing! This book was a great continuation of the story of the Gryn vs. Proto. Love this world, these characters, and the potential for more ahead!
So, being that the previous book seemed to end the story in my mind I almost didn’t bother reading this one thinking I knew all I needed to know about how it ended. I was wrong, if that thought comes to mind after finishing the previous book to this one - ignore it - you need this one.
“I will never leave you, my pet. You became mine the moment you surrendered to my touch. I will keep you, you are mine.” I growl the words at her. - see? You need it 🤷🏻♀️ the other books are spicy and this one keeps the vibe and is possibly even more ott possessive in situations.
I loved this series and the ending was the HEA dreams are made of.
I always wondered what was up with Bianca and now we know! The two were perfectly matched and it was fun reading as they fumbled their way into a true love match. This was such an exciting end to the series with all of the action, treachery and sexy times. The last Senior embraced the old ball and chains in a major way. I thought I would die when he went in that glowing ball! And even though we didn’t get to see exactly how Proto got what was coming to him, I’m glad he/it did. I’m hoping the new series is about the rest of the team finding their boundless flights too.
This is Bianca and Ryak’s story, but it’s also the story of Ustokos post-Proto, so it’s also the story of a society rebuilding. Bianca and Ryak both have broken aspects to their psyches and both are enigmas, so it was so satisfying to see them come together and find happiness. While the five humans and five seniors have found their forevers, there’s still more stories of the Gryn to be told.
I got frustrated with both Bianca & Ryak when they literally stupid things. Like she heard a convo that could’ve literally saved them so much trouble but didn’t even mention it to them. He lied about trying to track the enemy down for no reason but it ended with her in trouble anyways. Then don’t even get me started on the “2months later” bullshit.
Steam- 3/5 breeding kink but not as heavy as the others
Ryak has incredible mental powers, but keeps himself separate from others. Bianca is not your typical human, but then her upbringing wasn’t typical either. The craving between them is off the charts! Both are keeping secrets. There’s love, betrayal, danger and action that will make it hard to put the book down.
This is the story of Ryak and Bianca. This story was filled with action, romance and suspense. At times I hated to put it down for bedtime. I don’t want to give away much more. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of Ryak’s Elite Warriors. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers. Otherwise, go for it if you like Sci-fi romance!
Loved this story. It was great to see the Gryn take on new challenges besides the dreaded AI. The adorable band on elite warriors were more like highly trained puppies and I do hope we get to read more about them in the future. The fmc tone was great in this story as well. All sass and intelligence that matched the mmc brilliantly.
Each book in this series has had lots of se y scenes, fighting and trying to determine who is their fated mate and whether their pasts should allow them to ever be happy. Am really enjoying reading these books and can't wait to start the next one. This book is well written with a great storyline and characters.
challenging emotional reflective tense fast-paced Plot- or character-driven? A mix Strong character development? Yes Loveable characters? Yes Diverse cast of characters? Yes Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated 4.5 stars
Kindle/Audiobook (audible) - great ending to this series this far with proto defeated and Ryak mated with child.

I loved this book! Great world building. The story was action packed and had danger, suspense, and some things I didn't expect. I loved the characters. I found the book completely engaging, well written and well paced. I recommend it. 5 stars.
A nice story with great suspense. The only thing missing is what happened to their females' ???? Your missing a book at the end of this series saying that the females were found and what happened to them.
I love this series. Each book unique. All have HEAs. Ryak and Bianca . What a journey. Action packed. Love the adventure. The interaction , the romance and communication. Finally between the two. I would recommend this series.
Ryak thinks duty has to come before anything else. Bianca is used to being a shadow. But what an adventure awaits them! Start at the beginning and you won't be disappointed. Enjoy
Excellent end to the series, very well done. Again the story managed to be different from the other ones in the series and I'm so excited to see that there's going to be a spin off series.
I need a Ryak. He was so sweet and smooth. I couldn't put the book down. Lots of steamy moments and action packed adventures. Great book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
