Waylaid in Wyoming is a simple romance set in the Big Horn Mountains. Author K. Paris combines Coleen Bonner’s love of adventure and photography with a road trip to California. However, an unexpected delay keeps her in Wyoming for a time.
Drew Murphy rescued her from a pile of rocks and his mother insists she recover at their ranch. Friendships grow deeper as Colleen and Drew weigh the risks of commitment. The characters are well developed and the author’s descriptions capture the beauty of the area and stirs a craving for a home cooked meal.
I recommend this book for a leisurely day with a cup of hot chocolate and a biscotti.
