Great start to a new mafia series. Raine sees something she shouldn’t have and now Alessio will be the one to keep her close and make sure she stays quiet. What will happen when sparks begin to fly between them? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and action. The chemistry is intense and steamy. The characters have plenty of depth and the story draws you in from beginning to end. I loved it and am looking forward to more.

Interesting first book in trilogy
Darkness Seduced is the first book in the Ricci Crime Family trilogy. Be warned that this entire series is about Raine and Allesio, so each book will end with a cliffhanger that leads into the next book in the trilogy. You will not get a HEA until the last book. With that out of the way the story starts with Raine, a waitress, witnessing a killing, and Allesio, the Don of the Ricci family, taking her and moving her into his hotel. He installs her as the madame to his prostitutes, yep I went there but was not happy about it as it made me bleech. But I guess you got to do what you go to do too stay alive. So Raine and Allesio butt heads over the way the girls are treated and sparks start to fly. All this time though there is a detective who is after Raine, not for romance but to turn her into an informant on the Ricci family operations.
This is a good start to the series as it delivers with an interesting story-line and nicely written characters. I look forward to grabbing the second book, Darkness Savage to see what happens next with this couple.

Do you love Dark Mafia Romances ? Well if so you are not going to want to miss ( Darkness Seduced ) the first installment in Autumn Reigns Ricci Crime Family Series ) and trust me when I say once you start reading you will have a very hard time putting it down .Alessio and Raine are two of the most wonderfully written characters I have met in a very long time , both so very multi layered and intriguing. Certain circumstances of which I’m not going to mention lead up to Raine witnessing something she’s not supposed to , something that puts her life in danger .Alessio comes in her life when she least expects it and when she needs him most . His one main goal is to protect her at all costs but what happens when feelings arise that neither expects .From the moment these two meet the attraction and the chemistry they share is undeniable . But what does their future hold . Well your just going to have to find out for yourself.

Loved the book it was awesome, the story about Raine and Alessio was amazing. The Mafia own plenty of buildings. Raine is a waitress then moved into the hotel after seeing something she shouldn't have, at the hotel she worked with the Girls passing them on to clients, she didn't like the way the girls are treated so she went to the boss and arguing with him. Alessio is the Don he was working when Raine walked in and gave him a mouth full of what she thought over the treatment of the girls. Alessio was amused and annoyed with Raine, once Raine took over looking after the girl, now they are very happy to work. Both Alessio and Raine would argue all the time and then jump into bed. Raine has a secret and if that gets out she would wind up dead, she is awfully confused.

Raine is a strong willed woman, witty, spunky, finds herself in a bit of trouble when she witnesses something she shouldn't have.
Alessio Ricci is Don of Ricci Crime Family who puts Raine to work where he can keep an eye on her their chemistry is scorching hot the sparks fly between these two enough to melt your kindle.
I definitely recommend to get this amazing well written story by Autumn Reign so much happens your on the edge of your seat, then the cliffhanger makes you want next book ASAP I thoroughly enjoyed this story so looking forward to next book.

This is the first book in a new series by Autumn Reign about the Ricci Crime Family. Raine is a waitress who accidentally witnesses a murder. Alessio, the Don of the Italian Ricci Mafia Family, forces her to stay close to him and work in one of his businesses so he can watch her and make sure she is loyal to his family and does not talk to the police. But a police detective is pushing Raine to become an informant against the Ricci's. This book is fas paced, action packed, intense, sizzling, steamy, full of twists and turns. The characters are well written, but this book ends with a cliffhanger, so I am anxious to get my hands on Dark Savage. This series is available on Kindle Unlimited so get ready to binge read.

Great start to the series. Very fast-paced and full of action, drama and passion. This is the story of Alessio and Raine. Raine is a waitress at the restaurant owned by the Ricci family. Raine just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and sees something she shouldn’t have seen. Alessio decides that she needs to be watched very closely as he does not want the feds to have any ammunition to bring his family down. Raine ends up working at the “Hotel” where some days things are good between her and Alessio and others, are totally wrong.
This story is full of darkness, lots of betrayal, deception, passion, violence, misunderstandings, kidnapping and a few twists. I look forward to reading the next book in this series to see what happens with Raine and Alessio!

Creative story in the mafia genre
I really enjoyed this unique and creative story, and I look forward to reading the next book.
I didn’t give this a 5 ⭐️ rating for a couple of reasons. First, the sexy times would start off pretty descriptive and hot…and then the author just sort of ended it and left it to your imagination. It was just awkward. My second beef is that I don’t understand how the detective has so much power over the FMC 🤷♀️ nor do I understand how the MMC (a Don) isn’t aware of what the detective is doing. But, I am interested enough in the story to see how it ends.

This couple has an intensity. Their chemistry is captivating. I love the bond that grows. The story caught me early on and sent me right through to a cliffhanger. AAGH! Now I am on the edge waiting for book 2.

It has been a while since I have read a book by this author and I have been missing out. Raine witnesses a murder in the alley behind the bar that she works at. To keep an eye on her, she is forced to work as a hostess at a hotel that "assigns companions" to the "guests" and is owned by the Ricci crime family. Alessio Ricci hasn't ever met a woman like Raine, who speaks her mind and isn't afraid of him. This is book #1 of the "Ricci Crime Family" series. This is a fun book to read the banter of Alessio and Raine. Enjoy!

Wow! What a way to open a new series. This is a fantastically well written Mafia book. Alessio is every bit the Don you would expect. He is powerful and raw. Also very kinky... Raine is a strong willed women. Very blunt and witty. The chemistry and connection between them is off the charts HOT... I really enjoyed the start of their story. All the ups and downs kept me turning the pages quickly. What a cliff hanger... I can not wait for the next book.

Oh My Darkness Seduced was fantastic. This book had me on edge throughout the entire book. This is a page turner that will have your emotions up and down. That cliff hanger ending was killer. I am dying to know what happens in the next book. This is filled with steamy scenes, action, mafia men, an awesome mafia woman who doesn't hesitate to pull a gun and loads of twists and intense moments. Highly recommend reading this. This book will grab you and suck you in and hold you until the end.

I enjoyed reading Darkness Seduced(Ricci Crime Family #1) by Autumn Reign that I received and am now willingly reviewing from bookfunnel. Raine sees a shooting and ends up being forced to work for the family and also being hounded by a police officer to find out information. This book is for 18+. If you enjoy dark mafia romance this could be the series for you. I definitely recommend it. This book is available on Amazon.

I can honestly say I have no idea where the story is going. I don’t know if I like where it’s been. The whole working with the detective really, really bothers me. There’s no coming back from that in my mind but we’ll see. I actually like the characters. If this story is more than 3 books than I’ll stop. If the next one doesn’t give me less angst and more from the heroine….

TW: Human Trafficking, SA, Violence against women
It was a no for me from the first instance of casually addressed human trafficking. I'm not here for gratuitous enslavement of other humans. It's not that the story is bad or that the writing isn't decent enough. But the theme of enslaving women for sex work is way way too much. It can't be looked away from when it comes up in almost every scene.

Darkness Seduced: A Dark Mafia Enemies to Lovers Romance (Ricci Crime Family Book 1) By Autumn Reign. A fantastic beginning to The Ricci Crome Family story ! Alessio and Raine explosive their chemistry . Although, the circumstances are unpleasant in many ways ….I enjoy this story and can’t wait to read the next story. I recommend this series.

Good to great
I enjoyed reading this story. The characters were good.The plot and storyline were good too.
This is a dark mafia romance. It has drama, action, murder, sex, violence, prostitution, and much more.
The only thing I didn't like was the cliffhanger.

Quick and awesome book
I love things all mafia and this book gave me my enemies to lover's and evil violence and twists in the story my gut is telling me who I think is the traitor but this book ends in a twist I now have tones it for book 2.

A good story. Ends with a cliffhanger.
I enjoyed this Mafia romance. Rain ine and Alessio have chemistry. I like the plot. There are steamy scenes,action and violence. The cop pressuring Raine to be an informant is a creep. Will be reading the next book in the series.

Alessio and Raine are brought together due to what she should not have seen. Now she is working in a business that she really doesn't want and she is now sleeping with Alessio. She wants commitment and not to be disrespected and she ends up in trouble. Cliffhanger is real!

Alessio intends to keep Raine protected after she sees something should not have. Talk about hot they have tremendous chemistry and be warned this is a cliffhanger but it is well worth the read.
