Great way to read the Bible in a year. Divided by an Old Testament, New Testament, a Psalm and a Proverb every day. I will start it again tomorrow!

Having New and Old Testament passages to read every day was a lifesaver. The Old Testament can be tough, especially the prophets, so also having a NT passage every day helped hold my interest. I bought the Kindle version and sat down every morning for a year with my coffee to read my Bible. It took probably 15 minutes a day and was more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Now that it’s an ingrained habit, I’ll probably start over in 2024.

Did reading the Bible help me grow in my faith? I think it did - but combining it with prayer and meditation really helped me grow. I struggle with faith - it just doesn’t come naturally to me. But taking time to meditate upon what I just read and pray for others helped me to go deeper. I suggest reading Misty’s thoughts at the end of each passage and then taking time to get quiet and reflect on or journal about what you just read.

Loved the daily readings. Made it so much easier to read the Bible in a year. The summaries at the end of each day was a lovely tie-in to bring it all together. I will be diving into this one again in 2024.
