This was a great story and was very entertaining. Once I started I could not put it down. The chemistry between the hero and heroine is sizzling hot. I would recommend this to anyone that loves a great love story.

This is the second story in the Woodland Packs series. It could be read as a stand-alone story, but to get the full depth, you should read the first story. It makes a lot more sense.
I like this story because it was fast moving, tied up some questions about why the bear clan was messing with the human women the wolf clans were interested. I like seeing people/characters having happy ever afters when they have worked hard without any happiness. I feel that everyone, including shifters, deserve to be happy, to find happiness.
In this story, Nevaeh, a friend of Claire's, from the first story, is coming to see how Claire is doing since she broke her arm and is now living an hour away from the hospital they both work at. Nevaeh is only 23, but she has worked hard to get where she is as a nurse and is working insane hours at the hospital because she feels that she will never have anything else. She is married to her job. When she sees Claire up at her boyfriend's house, she sees a very calm and serine woman. Claire doesn't seem like she is anxious to get back to working 80 hours a week like before. When Nevaeh pulled up, she saw a couple good looking guys who lived next door, they kind of scared her, but she just wanted to get to Claire. When Claire shares that she doesn't have one boyfriend, but has three and that she is pregnant, Nevaeh flips out. When Claire tries to explain things, one of the guys from next door come over to meet her and when they shake hands, she passes out. Claire tries to get her to stay for a couple days since apparently she couldn't drive herself back if she keeps passing out. She gets Nevaeh to spend some time with Grayson, Aaron, and Brad. She tells Claire that she had an old boyfriend who was big, like Grayson, who intimidated her and then started to abuse her. She moved around to get away from him stalking her, but he kept finding her.
Greyson is the Alpha of his pack. He finds it hard to see his mate, Nevaeh cringe away from him because of his size. He just wants to make her feel safe. He will do anything to make her feel better, even if that is to leave her alone. Brad is the Omega in their group so he is smaller in size and is less intimidating to Nevaeh. He is also the one that figured out that her name is Heaven backward. She feels comfortable around him but is still weary around any males because of her ex. When she tries to go back into town, a big bear runs into her car. When she is later kidnapped, the guys try to rescue her, even if she doesn't want to have anything to do with the guys. They explain to her that once they find their true mate, they will never be with another female ever again. Even if she doesn't accept them, they will be true to her.

The cold hearted nurse and her big hearted wolves
Nevaeh is a 23 year old nurse and friend of Claire's. Having a hard time understanding the abrupt changes Claire has made in her life, she heads out of town to visit. While Claire is obviously very happy with her new life. Nevaeh just doesn't get it and is hostile and judgmental. When she learns the truth of Claire's relationship with her men, disgusted. Claire puts her in her place. She is intimidated by Dex and Taylor, but is more at ease with Jay.
Nevaeh grew up poor in a trailer park. Her last boyfriend when she was 19 was abusive. She has a fear of large men and doesn't trust men in general. When two of Claire's neighbors visit, both very large men, she is reluctant to even shake hands.
Grayson and Aaron suspect Nevaeh is there mate. When she reluctantly shakes hands they know for sure. Claire tells them that they will have a hard time wining Nevaeh over.
Nevaeh is not having it. Meeting Brad was oddly comforting but she wants nothing to do with any men, much less 3 who want to share her. She has life plans and they don't include marriage or mating or whatever they want to call it. She runs only to get into an accident with a bear. A bear that she suspects she knows.
Gray an his pack rescue Nevaeh and she agrees to give them a chance. They open their hearts and home to her. Give her a taste of the life she could have only to have her throw everything back in their faces and leave. When she needs them most they come for her and once she is safe they leave, not risking her hurting them any further.
Nevaeh knows she threw away the best thing that ever happened to her over her own hang ups and fears. With Claire's help she has a plan to win them back. She is going to show them what they mean to her and how much she wants and needs them.
Fast paced and angsty. Nevaeh is hard to like, even understanding her history. Claire is a good friend to her, and exercises some tough love to get her to face herself. Grayson, Aaron and Brad are a tight family. Gray will do anything to protect his pack even if it's against their own mate. You really feel for them. Great story. Nevaeh does redeem herself and really put herself out there to win men back, showing them she is all in. A really nice epilogue to wrap up their story.

Nevaeh is a nurse and a friend of Claire's. She's coming to visit but she ends up getting more than she bargains for when she arrives. Nevaeh learns of Claire's new life with her men but she doesn't think its a life for her. Just when things couldn't get weirder two men show up and just when Nevaeh is introduced and they shake hands she faints. Turns out she is their mate. Dex and Taylor remind her of her so Nevaeh is immediately put off on them and wants nothing to do with them. Claire tries to calm her but all she wants to do is leave. Which she does the first chance she gets and ends up having a bear shifter chase her down causing her to crash. Dex, Taylor and Bradley save her and bring her back to Claire's. When Claire force everyone out but the Omega's Nevaeh is stunned especially as they listen. Nevaeh finally agrees to listen to the guys and give them a chance only to get scared by what she feels after being with them. This has her going back home and immediately regretting her decision. However before she can fix it her ex finds her will her mates come to her aid before her ex can hurt her? Will her mates forgive her for leaving?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this story to any book lover.

This story starts with Grayson talking to Claire the human that belongs to part of the pack, she belongs to the triad of wolves (Dexter, Taylor and Jay) in book one. He wants to know how to look for his mate, and when will he know her?
Aaron is the beta of the group, Grayson’s second in command. Not as fast as Grayson but just as deadly. Prepared to protect his mate. He longs to come home to someone, to care and cook for her.
Brad is the Omega of the trio, he’s the homemaker, the caretaker of the pack. He wants a mate to care for, and children would be the icing on the cake.
Grayson is the Alpha, born to protect and provide for his pack and future mate. Now he knows there are human women out there compatible with their wolves, Grayson wants a mate for his little pack.
Neveah is married to her job. She loves being a nurse, and doesn’t think twice about pulling a double shift. Visiting her friend Claire (we meet her in a previous book) she’s surprised and upset to hear Claire is ready to give up the double shifts and late nights, she thought they would be doing work together like the old days, once Claire comes back to work (something happened in Claire’s book, and she got injured) But Claire has a secret she needs to share with Neveah.
Neveah came across as very narrow minded and a bit of a prude, she finds out her friend is having a relationship with three other guys!!! And when Claire explains about the triad she is with, Neveah doesn’t really believe her. And for the three men being shifters!!! Well that takes a bit of convincing. Meeting the three men/shifters proves just too much for Neveah and she leaves. She can’t or won’t commit, she’s worked too hard to get where she is, and the last man she trusted beat her and broke her trust. She can’t do it again!!! The book then goes on to explore the feelings that Neveah has the the triad, and how the three men cope with a commitment shy female. Oh and her ex makes a nasty reappearance. And we find out why the bears want the wolves to be extinct!!! 🦋

Amelia does not disappoint with this latest book! Full of love and steam and all things shifter! When Nevaeh goes to visit her friend Claire, she doesn't know that it will change her life forever. While there, Claire's neighbors - Grayson, Aaron and Brad - notice her and immediately know that she is to be their mate. But Nevaeh has a brutal past and wants nothing to do with men. Her last boyfriend was abusive. She tries to leave but is attacked on her way by a large bear. She is pretty sure it's her ex. The guys save her and take her back to Claire's where Claire convinces her to give them a chance. She does, but her feelings scare her and she runs back home, right into the clutches of her ex. He finally tells her why he dated her in the first place, to keep her from the wolves. Her men come for her though and in the end, she realizes just how much she has hurt them and just how much they mean to her. She goes back and begs for their forgiveness, which they give with a promise from her that she will never run away again.

The 3rd book had better spice, but I like how they all make love with each other the only times in this book.

February 22, 2025"Claiming Their Mate" had some interesting ideas, but ultimately fell a bit flat for me. The premise of [mention a specific element you liked, e.g., the shifter dynamics, the unique magic system] was intriguing, and I did find myself wanting to know more about that aspect of the world. However, the pacing felt uneven, with some parts dragging while others rushed through crucial plot points.
The characters were...okay. I liked [mention a character or two briefly], but I didn't feel a strong connection to them. The romance felt a little forced at times, and I would have appreciated more development of the relationships. There were moments where the dialogue felt clunky or unnatural.
Overall, it was an enjoyable enough read to pass the time, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. It had potential, but needed more polish in terms of character development and pacing. If you're a big fan of [mention the genre, e.g., shifter romances, reverse harems] you might find something to enjoy, but don't expect a masterpiece.

What a great mmmf story this was to read, i read it in one sitting it was that good. Looking forward to more of these books coming out.
Grayson, Aaron and Brad were wolf shifters., and the pack next door already had found their women, they so desperately wanted a women as well. Claires friend Nevaeh (heaven spelled backwards) was visiting , when she stepped out of the car she spotted three georgous men who made her stomach do crazy things, racing inside she chatted to Claire. Then the three men where there and one touch of Grayson and she fainted. Waking up and learning that she is their fated mate makes Nevaeh scared enough to want to run. And run she does, she has a stalker and she is scared of men, scared of feelings for them. The question is will she continue running or will fate bind them together
A must read especially if you love shifter stories and fated mates books

Nevaeh.has gone to visit with her friend from work. She can;t believe how Claire could leave her job and go live so far out in the country. She always felt she was as married to her job as Navaeh is. As she arrives, three men in the house next door come out and stand on the porch watching her. She runs to Claire;s door. Soon the three men next door arrive and want to meet Nevaeh. When they smelled her when she arrived they knew she was theirs. When she shakes hands with Aaron she faints. Proof that she is theirs. Now Grayson, Brad and Aaron must battle not only her inner demons but an ex boyfriend who has been stalking her.Will they be able to save her and claim her or will her inner demons win?

Neveah is a nurse and friend of Claire's from the first Woodland Pack book. They have been friends and colleagues with similar goals. When she goes to visit Claire to try to understand how she could just change her life so completley, everything changes for her. Another pack realizes she is their one true mate immediately. With emotional scars after leaving an abusive relationship and not understanding what is going on with her friend, she panics. Danger comes to play when the bears decide to get involved. Although this Woodland Pack story can be read as a stand alone, there are answers to some questions from Claire's story in book one. I have really enjoyed this story line. My only complaint is that I wish they were longer.

They all make up and get their HEA.

I loved book 1 and I loved this one even more because we get to see more of the characters from 1 and continuing their story while also getting to know these other characters. After the previous pack found their mate, Grayson, Brad, and Aaron are hoping they can find their own as well. Little did they know, she woulf show up on her own. But can they convince her they’re nothing like her previous boyfriend while also protecting her from him? This was suspenful, sweet, funny, and oh so sexy! It helps that it has an epilogue too so get a glimpse of them in the future. I love those! I can’t wait to read the next one in the series.

An Awesome Book!!!!
I loved reading Claiming their Mate (Woodland Packs Book 2). All about Neveah a twenty three year old nurse & Grayson an Alpha wolf shifter, Aaron a Beta Wolff shifter and Brad an Omege wolf shifter all belonging to the same triad pack. They have been looking for years for their mate and nothing. But recently there next door neighbors found there human mate & she’s already pregnant! One day a friend that worked with her came to see how she was doing. One whiff and honey & apples had us taking notice!! Our mate was in that house, Grayson & Aaron practically invited themselves In! Nevaeh love that name heaven spelt backwards very original anyway she left her ex who is a big guy who used to abuse her so she doesn’t trust any big guys especially the 3 that tell her she is their mate. Nevaeh meets Aaron and Grayson of course she thinks that they are gorgeous but trust is another matter but when she touches Grayson she faints and from that the guys know that she is their mate. Nevaeh doesn’t believe them and from there that’s when her ex strikes so will the guys be able to save Nevaeh in time?. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Claiming their Mate by Amelia Shaw is the second stand alone book in the Woodlands Pack series. This is a very sweet and steamy romance that occurs between a pack of three wolf shifters named Grayson, Aaron, and Brad who meet their fated mated Nevaeh by accident while she is visiting a friend who lives next door. This book is very fast paced, original, and unpredictable with an unusual plot that completely surprised me. I loved the characters and how they had real issues that effected how related to one another. This paranormal reverse harem story romance is definitely a worthy addition to any romance readers bookshelf.

Nevaeh is a nurse and friend of Claire's they work at the same hospital. Nevaeh goes visits Claire and every thing changes for Nevaeh in one little visit. Grayson, Aaron and Brad are on there lunch break and decided to go home for it when they smell the sweetest smell ever. Nevaeh isn't quite sure how to take all the information in that her friend and these three big men are giving her. All Nevaeh knows is that she doesn't want to be in the same situation like she was with her ex. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. Too fast. But yea, this was a good continuation to the first book. The FMC had too much emotional baggage that it really feels like it was too quick and easily resolved in only 15 chapters. I felt like this should've been at least 30 chapters. Either way, it was good. Don't know how I feel about the boys here because we didn't really get much time to know them, unlike the first triad. It was mostly Grayson. A little bit of Brad and not much on Aaron...really would've been nicer if this was longer so the characters can properly unpack their emotions and communicate better rather than just solving majority of the issue with s*x.

The main female, Nevaeh has major trust issues due to her history and so 3 large wolf shifters claiming her as their fated mate is a bit too much for her. But, fated mates don’t just walk away and give up, they are in it for the long term. There’s some mystery, intrigue and drama as well as romance in this story as the fated mates sort themselves out and work towards their HEA. 3.5⭐⭐⭐⭐ An enjoyable read. I found Nevaeh slightly annoying, but I loved the three shifter mates and thought they were very lovely. Nevaeh is a workaholic who's only relationship was an abusive one, but she's now completely cut herself off. Since they are fated mates it's lust and connection at first sight, but Nevaeh isn't open to any relationship let alone a shifter one. I enjoyed the way this story played out and was hoping the guys would get their mate.

This story was an enjoyable read. I fell in love with the characters and was looking forward to each page. The pack mentality was amazing. The number one thing is always the pack. The way the triad fall in love and know it's their mate is an interesting twist. I really thought that the bear blew it when he told Nevaeh about them taking the wolves mates so the wolves would die out. Really hope there is more to that in the next book. Definitely getting book 1 and anymore in this series. Thank you for the escape.

just pure horrible awful. Remind me of school when you first learned how to read and you got the emphasis all wrong, creepy, monotone , off the rails , irritating , boring and nerve racking,so very bad I can not stand listening.Those author now, want to be cheap and not invest money and what you get is crap. She has several of her books on YT. I started almost all of them and gave up.
So I will not even think about buying it.
I find it a damn shame for this way I will never know if the stories are worth it or not.

Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Nevaeh is a nurse and when she went to visit her best friend in her new home, that is when Nevaeh meets her three mate wolves but she has trust issues because of her ex boyfriend.

This is the second book in the series but can be read as a stand-alone. Nevaeh comes to visit her friend Claire, where she meets Grayson, Aaron and Brad. They know that Nevaeh is their mate, can they convince her of that and can the keep her safe from her abusive ex. Fast-paced steamy shifter read with great characters and a fast-paced story with plenty of drama. Looking forward to more in this series. I really liked it.
