Camiella gets in over her head with the wrong crowd, and it almost costs her her life. Liam is an FBI agent who always gets his man. When their paths cross by a twist of faith, it's up to Liam to keep her safe, but will she be able to accept the beast that lurks inside?

This is a fast-paced, quick, and dirty read that will leave you begging for more!

Fast paced and super steamy. Camiella and Liam are good together. He’s all rough and alpha protective which is good because Camiella needs the protection from her ex.

1.5. The story starts off with camiella trying to sneak away from her biker gang boyfriend. She almost makes it to the door before shes knocked out. A fbi agent liam finds her and takes her to His house to tend to her wounds. One minute shes fragel the next they are going back to her house to get clothes where she walks out with 2 duffle bags and then all of a sudden hes carring her inside and making love to her and they have only know each other like 2 days. He talks about carring for her and then there at a bar and they sneak out to have sex in an alley( liam has bdsm thoughts) her ex sees her they drive off. 2 weeks go by and they cant keep there hands off each other insert cringy public sex and she goes to the bathroom to clean up gets grabbed by her ex where he holds her for like 4 days and rapes her and all she can think about is liam he finds her and kills her ex and then they continue to have public sex at a bbq were he asks her to marry him cut ahead and they are having a baby guess timing makes it his. I love a fast story but this one was all over the place and not in a good way.

Book one in the Mountain Daddies series. Camiella is living in hell. The man she thought she was in love keeps breaking her. Body, mind and soul. She has been ready to run. So when she tries to leave for good her ex almost kills her. Leaving her half death in the mountains. Liam was walking when he spotted her. He takes her to his cabin where he tries to heal her. Now that she’s almost better it’s time for mountain boy to claim his girl. Not only does he save her but he shows her what is to be loved by her daddy.

I could not put this book down. Once again Ms. Baker gave us an awesome story. One that had all the instant attraction and chemistry was through the roof. Camiella was left for dead in the woods when her the boyfriend had beaten her. Liam just happened to come across her and he brought her home to clean her up and keep her safe. Liam turns on that alphaness we all love. I couldnt put the book down. It was really that good. I highly recommend this and I can't wait to see what happens!!!

I have read a lot of April’s books and she never really disappoints me with them. I really enjoyed this one there are a couple things that I was kinda ehh about. But there are always things that make you feel that way when it comes to shorter books. I will say that this one definitely jumped into the spice than her other books. I would have waited a little bit longer for the spice because it did feel a little rushed. The only other thing was that with him being an FBI agent I would have liked to see a little more detail about what he had to go through when things came up. Other wise I really did enjoy this book. I loved both of the main characters and thought that they worked really well together.

Finding Hope is a dark story that opens with Twenty-three year old Camellia suffering abuse and rape at the hands of her gang member boyfriend. Our heroine is rescued by and find's her Happily Ever After with the story's Hero, Liam. Their story hits many of the best aspects of a steamy dark romance.

Unfortunately, the first steamy scene occurs immediately following the rescue and it involves rough sex while Camellia is suffering from broken ribs, a head wound, and contusions. Suffice it to say the author chose steamy sex and revenge over care and connection for Camellia. This reader is left feeling haste to quickly wrap up the story took precedence over care and respect for the heroine’s wounds or circumstances.
