At an early age, Jon Marcus Matthews learned that a life worth living was one of patience, peace, and kindness. His chosen career was supposed to embody those values. It was meant to help people, but lately, it seemed like he saw more and more of humanity’s darkness. So he was tired, so very tired, but oh, was he stubborn. He refused to give up and held onto the good things in this world. They were what allowed him to carry on, except for one thing—love. When it came to love, he hid from it, walked away from it, even tried to deny that it existed, for it caused nothing but pain and destruction. Then Daigon came along, a woman whose strong nature would challenge every belief he held dear.
Wrath didn’t just reside within Daigon—It held her prisoner. The heavy sense of rage crawled around inside her, filling her veins with an overpowering feeling that drowned out the being she once was. Oh, how she missed those days. Days in which she used to be surrounded by so much peace and love that she believed nothing could crack its cradling shell. Until the day her brother pierced through that beautiful, loving light and cast her into darkness. Worse yet, her Father allowed it to happen. Ever since that day, she traveled the world feeling scorned by every male that crossed her path. Men condemned her, so she condemned them until the day she met one male that did the unexpected. He taught her that wrath was not the key to salvation. Love was.
Who is excited for a female fallen Angel? This girl right here, that is who. Dai is better known for her sin, Wrath. Another say and another sin in the Seven Sins series.
Dia’s storyline is interesting and unique. I loved how original the stiry line is. She is everything I was hoping she would be—a true badass. Jon is the one who can be Diaz’s equal and accept her for who she is. He is patient, kind, and resilient.
The author did a fantastic job painting a vivid world. Wrath is the first book I have read from the author. It did take me a few chapters to get used to her writing style. But after that, it was smooth sailing,
I would have liked to have read more of a build-up between the characters and a few more in-depth details. The spicy scenes are well written, and no complaints in that department.
Overall I did enjoy reading Wrath and do recommend it. And Yes, I will read future books from the author.
Dia has been cast out because of her brother's actions, and actions her Father willingly allowed to happen. Now she roams the world feeling anger toward every man she meets. That is, until she meets Jon Marcus.
I have been excited to get Dia's story since she was mentioned in previous books. As the only female in the seven deadly sins, I knew her story was going to be a hit, and I was right! Dia and Jon have a connection that's immediately recognized, and I loved it wasn't something they acted on quickly. It was built up rather than rushed into like the other books, so I appreciated the change of pace.
My only issue was the story could have used more detail. There were still some questions at the end that didn't get answered, so that was slightly frustrating.
Another great book in the Seven Sins series! I was excited to read WRATH because this is the only sin out of the seven that’s female!
Diagon was pulled from Heaven and became the sin WRATH and for good reason. She definitely felt more like she belongs on the side of good and doesn’t fit in as much in hell. Which I really loved. She feels protective and wanting to do right even with her wrath.
I did want a little more interaction between Jon Marcus and Dia, but considering the timing and Michael and Rafael’s control of the situation, I’m sure it couldn’t be helped. Overall this was a good story, and amazing series! I recommend everyone starts at book 1 and enjoy these seven sins!
This book was an enjoyable read. I liked Dai’s story as she was the only female sin. She has very fascinating abilities and her story is not as dark as the other books in the series. I loved the slow burn between the Dai and Jon Marcus but felt like the ending was a little abrupt. Overall, I do recommend the book as the writing was done well.
Dai and Jons story had a lot going on but in a interesting way. Dai isn’t a big fan of men and they truly do feel her wrath but she meets Jon and this one is different he really throws her anger in a uproar but I loved that she’s a woman in the seventh sin series
In the previous 4 books it was stated that Dia was the only female Seven Sin, so boy was I excited to get this book! Dia is definitely different than her brothers and was not as far gone as the other Sins. Her connection with Jon Marcus was shown immediately, but it was not acted on as fast as in the other books so I really liked to see the gradual nature of things. There were a LOT of different things happening in this book and I wish I would have gotten just a few more details, but I adored our two main characters.
All in all, Wrath gave us a great story and build up about Dia and Jon Marcus, but I am left feeling a little unfilled. I wanted to see things fleshed out a little more, because not going to lie, I was confused at the end. It still adds to the series and the overall story, but since the author created this great world, I just wanted more!
PS: Thank you to Billie Blue and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly.
I LOVED how Billie spun this so much!!! It’s not too dark, not too light…that perfect balance in between.
Dai is the female demon that encompasses wrath. But this fallen angel is soooo much more and I loved everything about her. She isn’t anything like her brothers and it shows.
Jon is a savior of sorts, being a medic for a firehouse. He is so calm and I adored his caring nature, yet he is also guarded about himself. But don’t let that fool you because this man has a hidden kink.
These two together wove a tale full of questions, soul mending love, and a chemistry that is truly one in a million.
I really enjoyed this story, it flowed so nicely, the characters are so lifelike and the steam was just as heartfelt as the story itself. I loved how Billie did the switch by making the demon female, it really gave a different feel to this story and showed feminine strength in another light. I may have been left with some questions with the abrupt ending and epilogue, but I I feel as if worked and didn’t take away from the story since I was able to come up with my own conclusion with a couple of events. This may have been my first read by Billie, but it definitely won’t be my last.
I'm all about #GIRLPOWER so I've been super excited about Wrath since it's a female fallen angel, and her deadly sin is absolutely mine to be honest so had to give it five stars for those two things alone. Dai has a lot of wrath zinging through her, and to be honest, I could absolutely see why. She has it out for men, so she's wandering around condeming all men she comes across (the world needs more of that LOL), but she comes across a man named Jon, who threw her world into more chaos, because he was just inheriently good. They had an instant connection but it wasn't instantly acted on either. I devoured this story in short order, and desperately wanted more as I do have a few questions left but that's just me. Seriously though, you don't want to miss out on Wrath as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Wrath is the 5th book in the Seven Sin series and follows Daigon and Jon Marcus. As the holder of Wrath, Daigon was the only female of the seven sins and I was excited for this book. I enjoyed the story. I liked Dai's character and I thought the storyline was interesting and the author did do a good job with world building. It was different to the other books in the series with Dai and Jon Marcus relationship building very very slowly. However this novel ended very abruptly and it felt like some chapters were missing. I was left a bit confused at the end and really wished the story was a bit longer to fully flesh out everything as there were some unanswered questions left hanging. It was a good read nonetheless and I would recommend it to lovers of paranormal romance.
“She was so done with fucking males telling her what to do.”
I was so excited to see a female sin! And Wrath was the perfect one. I loved this story and the unique approach it took to the world. The world building was done extremely well and I loved all the little details that would have never crossed my mind.
Dai’s character is so well written, you can’t help but to root for her. She does things her own way regardless of what she’s being told, and makes no apologies for it either.
The connection between her and Jon Marcus was so fun to watch unfold. He’s charming and kind, but there is so much more to him than you’d originally think.
I really enjoyed this book, and will keep an eye out for more from this author!
I loved the story line. Dia was everything I expected. John was a great character. I truly enjoyed this story. The characters and side characters worked well together and the story flowed very smoothly. Now on to the one thing I didn’t like. I felt like after everything the story just abruptly ended. The ending was rushed into one chapter and then the epilogue kind of said here is an info you need hope you like it. Now I did like it. Might not be the HEA you expect but it is a HEA. Just don’t expect it to be how you want or expect.
I was beyond excited to read this book, since Dia was the only one of the Seven Sins that was a female. And I was right to be excited. It might feel a little rushed at the end, but that wasn't a big problem for me. I enjoyed the rest of the story immensely. I really liked John Marcus and the rest of the side characters. The plot was really and had a steady pace and the connection between Dia and John Marcus was evident from the beginning. All in all, this was an amazing addition to the series.
Thank you to Wildlife Marketing Solutions and Billie Blue for providing me with an advanced copy of the book in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
I was eager for Dai's story as she is the only female fallen and I really liked her. John Marcus and the other characters were good along with the storyline. I do wish this one was a little longer as I have some unanswered questions and the ending came on so quick it feels like a chapter or two is missing. ***there will be more so excited for that!
Wow! I love that in this story the female carries the sin. Daigon and Jon were unexpected but work so well together. The author did a good job of sucking me in because I could not put this down.
Dai is a tough, fierce warrior of a woman who wants to help the human race. Jon Marcus is a loving, kind, gentle man who wants to do the same. Together they find love and understanding.
This story was a sweet romance but did end abruptly. Luckily, this is a duet that I can't wait to finish.
I really appreciated that this book was a shorter read than the other books in the series. I'm loving the series, but the schedule I have to maintain for the ARC group is grueling. I love to read, but having to read a book ever 1.5 days is too much. You know things like work and my family do get in the way of reading constantly.
Note to self: no more series ARCs.
Dai's story is one I was looking forward to. She is one of the fallen, friends with Riker (Greed), and the only Fallen female. Wrath and patience, two things that are warring in her. Or not? Jon Marcus has loads of patience and is intrigued by Dai. What kind of woman gets shot multiple times and lives? He is drawn to her in a way he has never felt before. Both these characters have trauma in their past, but Dai's is more significant IMO.
Michael makes an appearance again, and his meddling to this point in the series made sense, but I was very unhappy with how he messed with and interfered with Dai's HEA.
The overall plot is great. My biggest complaint is how the story wrapped up. We see how things turn out for Jon and then skip ahead to the epilogue. I feel like I missed something important in why Jon's story ended the way it did and how he and Dai ended up with their HEA. There are a few plot holes that need to be filled in.
This is book 5 in the Seven Sin Series: Wrath by Billie Blue.
Another new author to me. We start with the fallen angel Daigon leader over the domain of Wrath and Jon Marcus an EMT who is linked to the bloodline of Jesus. He is sent to help her but with her healing she doesn't need so she runs away leaving him mystified at who the woman with the purple eyes are that he can't stop thinking about. While trying to find out the mystery of who a little boy is that knows what her domain looks which no human should know they come across her fellow angels. They must complete a task before they are able to save the little boy from the angels clutches.
Absolutely Recommend this book. Great twist on the 7 sins. 5 stars 3 spicy stars
Well we finally get to Dia's story. 🥰 as she is the only Female sin. This is my first time reading anything by Bille Blue she is a amazing writer..all of the authors in this shared series is AMAZING! I liked the flow of this story. It wasn't as dark as the others and I actually didn't feel like I was missing anything. It was still great and the steam was PERFECT. The world building was seamlessly woven into the story. Jon was a fantastic character to go with Dia. I wished we had more background and character development but that is a personal thing...the ending left me wanting more...I am hopeful that we will get some time bits in the other books as we have in the previous books...I totally recommend this book!
Wrath by Billie Blue is part of the Seven Sins series that I have been reading religiously (pun intended 😁). I liked the story since Dia as Wrath happens to be the only female sin I have read so far and I enjoyed reading about Jon Marcus’s goodness and integrity. They had a good connection and the spicy moments were pretty hot but to be honest, I couldn’t really get into Wrath as much as I was with the other books in the series. It didn’t completely captivate me but I enjoyed the romance none the less. I am looking forward to reading the next sins in the series.
I was really into this story, and was really excited to read Dai/Wrath as she’s the only female original sin. Jon Marcus we learned is in direct line to Jesus and amongst other things has tbe perfect patience to deal with And assist Dai
My only gripe is how fast it ended, Dai & John finally had their moment and suddenly something happened and we are at the epilogue 3 years later…… how the heck did we get there?!?!? I NEED TO KNOW!
I am so here for a female sin! This actually turned out somewhat sweeter than I expected. Pulled from heaven by lucifer Dia isn't quite what you expect from the wrath of sin. She's got a secret and it's one she's determined to keep. But then along comes Jon Marcus and throws a spanner in the works. A Slower burn than the others I loved how some bdsm concepts were brought in. I would have loved it to be a little longer just to allow for that bit to be explored more
I was excited to start this one as it features a female fallen angel! Dai is wrath and a complete badass. I was instantly drawn to her and her unique and interesting story. It isn’t as dark as the other sin books, but it was just as captivating. There is a nice slow burn romance between Dai and Jon which kept me on the edge of my seat with anticipation of when things were going to combust between them.
Overall I really enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more by this author.
Wow! I really enjoyed this book! It’s the first (but not the last) book of Billie Blue that I’ve read. I was able to get into the plot & characters quickly and really liked that the central figure in this book was female. I like how the story uses details from the first 4 books in the series but also has a stand-alone plot. I’d love to see a movie made from this book💜❣️
This is book five of the Seven Sins Series. I love that Billie Blue took the unique approach of her sin being female. I really liked the characters of Dai and Jon Marcus. My only reason for four stars is that it felt rushed at the end and I was left wanting little bit more there.
This is a completely new author for me and it was a very writing style for me..Took me some time to get used to but the story was really fast paced with sizzling chemistry and suspense filled. Dia's story is one perfect example for the theme wrath and I enjoyed this story very much.
This was a fast read and I enjoyed it but I felt like the ending was way too rushed. I have no idea how we got to where we did in the end and there are a lot of unanswered questions.
