Working with Jez was supposed to help. Not break our group for good.
We’re all alive, but we’re separated. And the delicate balance that we’ve worked hard to achieve feels like it’s about to shatter. Every day, our enemies grow stronger, and I worry that I can’t protect my men if I’m not supposed to be around them. Even if our plans work, we can’t fix what’s broken.
It doesn’t matter how hard we try.
A family divided will fall. So how can I bring my men back together?
Very tempted to remove two stars for editing this time. In two pages the character removed his shoes 3 times, once at the font door , then in the kitchen, then in the bedroom. It’s getting desperate now. For goodness sake, check your work Ms Bright. Must say an excellent ending to this book 📚
🔪 “I like it when you’re gasping for breath. I’ve been thinking of all the ways I can take your breath away.” ~~~ In the end of book three, Bash sacrificed himself and got captured by the police and went to prison. Now, a year later, he’s out and he’s more determined than ever. But the plan is dangerous and there is a lot to lose. I loved his loyalty and determination to keep everyone safe no matter the cost. Even more, his love and devotion to Justice were absolutely undeniable. And once again, he proved himself a strong, resilient and fiercely protective leader.
In addition, Justice was absolutely amazing. She was so brave to face all the dangers thrown her way. And her loyalty and protectiveness of each male was so admirable. She grew so much throughout the series to become a truly fearless, strong and badass woman.
Even more, the Knives had to deal with a dangerous, vicious and cruel enemy. And, although they needed to be united, the relationships between them were more intense than ever. There was so much anxiety, tension, struggles and conflicts. My heart broke for each and every one of them while they struggled with their inner demons and fears. And an incident almost broke them apart. Nevertheless, the Knives proved time and time again how strong, loyal and resilient they were and in the end, all of them came out stronger than ever.
Overall, the story is a spectacular finale to an absolutely phenomenal series. It’s filled with danger, fast-paced action, twists, drama, violence, blazing hot romance and strong and magnificent characters.
I couldn't put it down and loved every single page of it!
If you love complex, morally gray, dominant, violent and a little unhinged heroes who are willing to burn down the world to protect their woman, you should definitely check out the Miami Knives series!
Buckle up folks because Damning Justice is out NOW and it’s a wild f**king ride. The last installment in the Miami Knives series and please trust me when I say this—it was absolutely spectacular.
“Bash was back. And that meant we were all done playing house.”
The story takes place a little over a year later where the last book ended and things have changed—the Knives, the enemy, the dynamic, all of it. There’s been a shift within the group and it’s evident it won’t be easy for them to get back to the way it was before.
The danger has become greater and loyalty is everything—who is not to be trusted and who can you confide in..
I said it before and I’ll say it again—Clarissa’s writing is impeccable. It’s raw and real and she understands how to bring her characters to life.
Anyways—if you love mafia and reverse harem with a storyline so incredibly fascinating then the Miami Knives is the series for you. It’s packed with action and violence, plot twists and drama and the smutty romance is phenomenal. Realistic character and world building.. I could go on and on. Will forever recommend.
“i guessed he was just my sexy british psychopath, and that was okay with me”
damning justice is the fourth and final book in the miami knives series; a dark, reverse harem, mafia/gang romance series from Clarissa Bright, and begins roughly a year after the end of book three. the author does say that the books can be read as standalones, however i read the first three this week and i don’t think i would have understood any of the character dynamics or main plot points if i hadn’t - so if you’re panning to read this i would definitely start with book one, taming justice!
book four was my favourite of the series; there’s a lot of character development throughout the rest of the series but i feel like we really get to understand the characters in this one. it was interesting to see the way the relationships between characters had developed off-page in the time since the third book ended. and speaking of relationships; i’m a sucker for a reverse harem, but a reverse harem where there’s m/m relationships between some of the harem members? chef’s kiss! Skylar is my absolute fave, sexy british psychopath? yes please!!
alongside the romance is a tension/action filled storyline, my heart was racing at some points and i was crying at others and then laughing moments later! it was such a rollercoaster of emotions right from the beginning and i’m definitely going to keep an eye out for other books from this author.
the full series is available on kindle unlimited. please be aware that there are trigger warnings for all four books in this series, please check carefully before reading and look after yourselves! :)
disclaimer: this is an ARC review, i received a free advance copy of this book from the author
I was told you could read this book as a stand alone. I did not read the 3 prior books. I have to say that even though I didn’t read the other 3 I still felt like I knew the characters backstories to an extent. I do feel like I missed some things but even in that case I felt like it still was great as a stand alone. It kept me on the edge of my seat and when the book got spicy…it got SPICY. This was my 1st reverse harem and I will definitely be reading more. I will now go back and read the other three books because this book was SO good. Highly recommend.
These characters have been through a lot, and now they must find a way to work together. This is difficult to accomplish when you aren’t supposed to be around each other. Justice proves to be the strong MFC she is. The Knives get it together for the betterment of the group and they are able to make it through. Great conclusion to a series.
i was so happy when i saw the final book in this series was finished. The spice is sooo good and the plot had me hooked. Make sure you read the preceding books otherwise you have no idea whats going on.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I adored this series! Read them all back to back and loved every minute. They just got better and better! I'm so sad to be done and have a book hangover but it's worth it! Please check out the series, they are amazing characters and so good.
Enjoyed this series, this is for all the books, but really loved the Justice and Bash ended it together. The steam level on this is 5+ and the plot stayed through to form. Really enjoyable RH and the other guys didn't disappoint either...
