This is a good book to read as a follow-up to a Lenten discipline. It was written by Scott Gunn of Forward Day By Day. He combines the lyrics of hymns, writings by religious philosophers, and Bible readings as inspiration for the daily meditations.

Lenten readings are always a blessing columinating in the sombre of Good Friday and then the joy of Easter Sunday. I have always felt a little let down once the 'season' had closed. Thank goodness we now have a book that leads us through to the Ascension of Jesus and Pentecost, the coming of the promised Holy Spirit. Brilliant.
