سفر به خانه ، به قدری کتاب خوش انرژی ای بود که موقع خوندنش حس میکردم من رو داره به آدم جدید تری نسبت به چند ساعت قبل تبدیل میکنه و خوشحال بودم که ترجمه شده اش از طریق دوست عزیزی به دستم رسید و خیلی سریع هم خوندمش و آگاه ترم کرد که چه اتفاقی داره برای من و امثال من میفته و انتهای این راه چیه و انگار داشتم اطلاعات معنوی جذابی رو به واسطه داستان اش در خودم دانلود میکردم .این کتاب رو به تمامی انسان هایی که مثل من در حال بیدار شدن هستند و راه معنوی شون رو دارن طی میکنن پیشنهاد میکنم ،اگاهی تون در هر سطحی که باشه با این کتاب بی شک بالاتر میره. به امید بیداری کل زمین و اهلش و به امید بودن مان در زمین جدیدی که در بعد پنجم منتظر ماست ...

Despite so-so writing and imagery that was simplistic at times, the inspirational spiritual message of this book shines through. It’s incandescent.
It took time and patience to get through, but this book is really transformational.
Highly recommended.

Перша моя книжка в цьому жанрі і досить непогана. Мені сподобалося. Новий, для мене, погляд на людину і її місце в цьому світі.

За автором, Земля - це лише одне із місць, в якому ми тимчасово перебуваємо для того, щоб набратися нового досвіду.
Ми самі вирішуємо прийти сюди і наперед визначаємо сценарій, який найкраще підійде нам для того, щоб отримати і засвоїти уроки.
Люди, які нам трапляються - не випадкові. Вони весь час перебувають з нами у всіх часах, світах і вимірах і чогось нас вчать, не залежно від того, що нам потрібно.

В цілому, передати свої враження мені, чи не вперше, дуже важко. Постійно хочеться переказувати те, що там було написано, а я не хочу зіпсувати вам ефект від читання, якщо колись ви виявите бажання дізнатися іншу версію нашого походження, призначення і сенсу перебування тут.

А порекомендувати - можу.

As one begins to awaken spiritually and is looking for answers, they are often left feeling overwhelmed by the books available on this subject. Many enter what is known as 'the dark night of the soul'. The journey home is written in such a way that a complete neophyte on this subject will understand...Highly recommended reading for all those stirring awake...LOVE this book...

Amazing book and my first experience "in-depth" with this subject matter, even if in parable form. This book has earned permanent real estate on the coveted (limited) book shelf space. It discusses the examination of self and the existence of higher vibrations that do exist in this world that many ignore or don't believe in. It shows the journey of one man and his quest to go home, which ultimately, is really about connecting with his higher spiritual self. Fantastic read!

Just re-read this book after several years. Still has a potent message that continues to deepen as your own spiritual awareness grows. I recommend it to anyone who is seeking a greater understanding of their divinity.

I chose to read this book during Lent because it was a book my mother-in-law had bought or received the year before she passed away. Maybe she was looking for answers as to what heaven would be like since she knew that she was terminally ill. If it hadn't been for that, I probably wouldn't have read it because it professes to be New Age and while I don't mind learning about that spirituality, it's not where I'm at. That being said, the book was well-written and I do think this tale about a man who has a near-death experience and has a chance to see beyond death is an interesting parable. While some things were hard to accept, there were some concepts that could help a person anticipate their journey in the afterlife rather than be afraid of it.

Knihu som začala čítať s miernymi predsudkami na odporúčanie mojej kamarátky, a tiež nerada čítam v češtine. Ale nakoniec som neľutovala, príbeh ma zaujal. Hlavný hrdina a jeho zážitok blízkej smrti sú dôkazom toho, že aj duchovná cesta je poriadna makačka a vyžaduje podobný tréning, ako príprava na maratón :)

Supongo que no es un libro malo, sino que este tipo de libros no son para mi.
Es un libro espiritual, lleno de metáforas y de lecciones que realmente son interesantes y con el que aprendes bastante. Se me ha hecho eterno porque no ha conseguido engancharme para nada. De hecho, han habido momentos en el que he pensado dejarlo de lado. Diría que es un "coñazo" leerlo, pero por respeto, diré que no ha sido de mi interés porque tampoco tengo tanta experiencia como lector.
La idea del libro es buena, y quizás lo recomendaría a alguien que quiera empezar a leer algo más espiritual. Pero también entiendo que no es una novela y que no me ha enganchado como me hubiera gustado.
Me lo lo recomendó mi novia, y a ella le encantó. Quizás he sido muy crítico con la reseña pero pueden darle una oportunidad y juzgarlo por ustedes mismos.

When Michael, who is stuck in the Velvet rut and has no friends or a significant other, gets home from work, he is attacked by a thief in his apartment and is taken to the hospital.
His journey “home” starts at this point.
He is meeting and learning from the 7 angels (each one has a power and teaches Mike a lesson)
Mike discovers many new facts about himself and gains a new perspective on both his positive and negative traits.
The book surely provides some thought-provoking material. At times, I felt like I had to pause and attempt to understand the underlying metaphors in order to see what I would do or feel, and how well I would succeed knowing and discovering myself.
Although it was not one of my favourites, it might interest others. And it really depends on the reader's mood when reading this book.

“Nothing that a trip to the Bahamas wouldn’t cure,”
“When unseen things become obvious,” the gentle voice said, “you can’t go backwards into ignorance. You will now see all gates clearly, since you gave intent for this one.”
Take care of yourself first, and the honour of your journey will be passed to those around you in a synchronous way, for the intent of the one will always affect the many.”
“I don’t want to worry about money. I want to feel RELEASE. I’m tired of being alone! I want to mean something to other entities in the Universe. I want to know that I exist for a reason, and do my part—to be a correct and appropriate part of God’s plan. I don’t really want to be a human as I have been. I want to be like you!”

My favorite!
I have read, recommended and purchased this book as a gift more times than I can remember. It's such a lovely story for those that are seeking more depth, more light, more understanding even when they themselves might not be aware. It certainly was for me. It's elegant in it's simplicity, profound and engaging without feeling preachy. It introduces soul concepts that sit comfortably even if spirituality isn't the goal. Regardless of your belief system, it encourages thoughtfulness and introspection. Its a gift to anyone that takes the time to read it and I encourage you to see for yourself.

I've read this book twice. It's a great book.for anyone interested in learning about the spiritual perspective. It's an amazing story telling book that keeps you wanting to turn the page. Both times I read this book in record time. I just can't put it down! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to understand the meaning and purpose we have here on Earth. It helped me see a new perspective on life in general and it was such a refreshing book. Absolutely love it! I'll read it over and over again.

I cannot explain the impact this book had on me when and after I read it.
It is one of those magical books that make you explore your own spirituality and aspects of the unknown within us.
I have read it 3 times during the tough times in my life and it always seemed to offer me a new perspective on things.

This is a gentle allegory which reveals great truths. It spoke to my soul much like a lovely bedtime story would wrap you in comfort. It isn't great literature, but it is a sweet story. I recommend it to anyone who feels that there is more to life than what they have been taught.
