We are each uniquely made with certain gifts and a special mission. We have been divinely created with a divine purpose. Life is its own entity and will not go as planned. The only thing that is constant is change. When life is chaotic and nothing seems to make sense, know that your thoughts are not quietly going unknown. The Lord hears, knows, and sees exactly what it is happening to each one of us. All we must do is have faith and believe. Know that we are not forsaken.

Through her book "An Everlasting Journey", Hernandez takes the readers on her spiritual journey. She has witnessed a dead body, miracles at an early age in her life. On many occasions, Jeanette questions God why he allows her to suffer, "why has he forsaken her?". God always reminds her that he hasn't forsaken her. He reminded her that she doesn't have to fix her troubled heart. It's not her responsibility. God is there for her and he would do whatever is good for her.
This book is a great eye opener to us that we start leading our lives and then wonder why we aren't getting what we want. We should let God lead our life. I got my hands on this book at the right time. I needed a reminder about this lesson. In her early twenties, things were overwhelming for the author. Therefore, she called it as her midlife crisis. She felt spiritually empty. The way she experienced a spiritual awakening after being baptized changed her life forever.
It was nice to read about the author's spiritual awakening. Any one moment of our life could prove to be a life-changing one. This book shows us how our world entirely changes after our spiritual awakening. The author is giving hope to the readers via this book that the life lived with God as your lead is more fulfilling one. I loved this book from the first page until the last page.

"An Everlasting Truth" takes the readers on the spiritual journey of the author's life. I read this book with complete interest and was often amazed by the resilience of the author. In spite of living troubled times, the author believed in God. She seeks for answers from the High Power and God has always answered her by telling her that He is there for her.
This book is a testament that God exists and through faith and prayer, we can overcome any obstacles in life. The author's story tells us to not give up in life. It shows us how through prayers, we can attract miracles in our life.
Those who are having dark times should definitely read this one. They will realize. This book is a refreshing read. I am happy to discover this new author. Looking forward to reading more books by the author in the future.

Jeanette's entry into this world was itself different. She was born breech. When she was four years old and was playing with her cousin, she saw the dead body of a man who was murdered. The author has shared with us how her last name came to be. "Many Miracles" is one of my favorite chapters from the book. It is about the time when the author was twelve years old. Her family was hit by an all-time low and she was struggling. With a miracle by God, her family could enjoy their Thanksgiving well.
When Jeanette was nineteen years old, a tumor was discovered in her abdomen. The author wanted to become a Marine and serve her country. Her whole life turned upside down in a moment. Read this book to know about the further journey of the author. What path did God plan for her?
I agree with the author when she has mentioned that God humbles and He humbles hard. A mature me could say now that God has humbled me over years. I love reading stories around the spiritual journey of a real person. "An Everlasting Truth" is about the spiritual journey of the author. In this book, the author has shared how her Spiritual Awakening happened after being baptized. Jeanette was born breech. She came out upside down. Recently I got my hands on Jeanette P Hernandez's book "An Everlasting Truth". The author calls her early twenties as her midlife crisis. At the age of twenty seven, she was spiritually empty. She was physically broken and mentally blocked. In December 2007, an intruder high on drugs tried stealing the car she bought after so much hard work.
Eric and Jeanette faced the intruder who had the shotgun. Jeanette had to hit his head to save Eric and herself. Thankfully, that intruder didn't die that day. One night, Jeanette asked God for guidance. She felt like she had tried at life very hard but failed at it. Read this story to know how Jeanette's life would transform.
Jeanette's story tells readers about the power of prayers and belief in God. If we let God lead our life, we definitely move from a dark place to a lighter one. With God's grace, one could live a far better life. The cover photo of the book is well designed. The book is well paced and I read it in a single sitting. The narration is smooth and strong. I was able to follow the story easily. It's a book worth reading. Add it to your tbr now.
