In order to meet with the Spirit King Element’s old comrade “The Proxy,” Chelsea and Glen set off across the continent to plant cuttings of the Spirit Tree in different countries. Stopping in the Radzuel Empire along their travels, Micah gets to visit her home, while Chelsea and Glen get the grand reception they’d missed on their first visit. For Chelsea’s part in saving the Empire with her [Seed Creation] Skill, she’s awarded a commendation, and presented a special book detailing plants of various types. She and Glen are also welcomed as friends by the Beastmen, and after eating their fill of delicious food, the group heads for the Martec Republic! Once there, they see the Republic is suffering from an unnatural mana drought. Upon hearing the pleas of the citizens, Chelsea and Glen quickly move to attempt planting the cutting. However, the Proxy’s worshippers appear, and make another attempt on Chelsea’s life...only for the Republic’s sacred bird to swoop in and save her!

I have 2 criticisms for how this series has developed. The first is the male leads backstory that he is reincarnated from another world that got revealed earlier in the series but it still bothers me it is completely unnecessary and takes you out of the story. The second is that the characters are overpowered and have NO ISSUES OR DIFFICULTY. You can make overpowered characters interesting but these characters literally never have to worry about anything there is zero stakes they never run into problems that aren't easily solved in a couple sentences. The first book had great development with the mc processing her trauma and growing as a person but its completely gone now. I don't plan on continuing this series I finished the book to give it a fair chance but its just become so boring.

So CUTE! But I am nervous about how the Saintess of Abundance thing is going to affect her and the mission going forward. While that might seem like a good thing currently, such changes can come back to bite you.

Done reading in one morning. So, two more trees needed to be planted, huh? It's still another fast read and I'm glad.
