Liliana Mack has spent the last seven years living in the spotlight.
Needing time away from the all the glitz and the glam of Hollywood, Liliana returns to her hometown. She just never expected her homecoming would put her in harm’s way.
Jagger Lowe is Harper Security Ops’ lead bodyguard. He’s accustomed to working with high-profile clients and always keeps it professional.
When Liliana hires the firm to deal with a pesky problem, Jagger gets a bit more than he bargained for. Because Jagger quickly learns that Liliana isn’t like most of his clients. There’s a lot more hiding beneath the celebrity façade. And the more he’s around her, the harder he struggles to conceal his feelings.
Unfortunately, by the time the pair admit their feelings to one another, Liliana’s troubles go from bad to worse, and Jagger will have to pull out all the stops to keep her safe.
A.K. Evans is a contemporary romance author of over twenty published novels. While she enjoys writing a good romantic suspense novel, Andrea’s favorite books to write have been her extreme sports romances. That might have something to do with the fact that she, along with her husband and two sons, can’t get enough of extreme sports.
Before becoming a writer, Andrea did a brief stint in the insurance and financial services industry and managed her husband’s performance automotive business. That love of extreme sports? She used to drive race cars!
When Andrea isn’t writing, she can be found homeschooling her two sons, doing yoga, snowboarding, reading, or traveling with her family. She and her husband are currently taking road trips throughout the country to visit all 50 states with their boys.
4.5 stars Book Three in the Harper Security series is my favorite so far. Lily has returned home to Steel Ridge, looking for some time away from the hectic schedules of Hollywood. Her quick rise to fame has given her little downtime, and she needs to recharge. So a little gardening, fishing, and relaxation are in her future. But strange things are happening, and she heads to Harper Security on advice from her father.
Jagger has just come back from tour with My Violent heart, and he currently has time on his hands as they will not head back out on tour for a while. So when Lily needs security cameras installed, he gets to it that afternoon.
While both are attracted immediately, neither says anything to the other. Lily even comes up with clever ways to get Jagger to help her. Will they admit feelings? Are the strange occurrences at Lily’s, animal, or human?
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
FTC DISCLAIMER: I RECEIVED AN E-ARC FROM THE PUBLISHER THROUGH ONE OF A VARIETY OF SOURCES. I VOLUNTARILY OFFER MY HONEST REVIEW OF THE BOOK, THOUGH IT IS NOT EXPECTED OF ME! RECEIPT OF THIS BOOK IN THIS MANNER DOES NOT AFFECT MY OPINION OF THE BOOK OR THE CONTENT OF MY REVIEW!
I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I read this story, but I was a bit surprised by it overall! I loved how down to earth Lily was! She reminded me so much of Keanu Reeves, it wasn't funny! She seemed to be cut from the same cloth as him, very humble and appreciative of her fame, but private too. I liked how Jagger was also surprised by her mannerisms, and really enjoyed watching their relationship blossom! The suspense and mystery angle took a back seat in this story, and I was a bit disappointed with that, as there were so many ways to take all the clues dropped that there could have been two suspense plots going at the same time and the relationship building wouldn't have suffered for it! The villain reveal was a total shocker for me, so be prepared for a jaw-dropping twist!
Yet again, this author delivers a story I wasn’t expecting, as well as danger that had so many possibilities as its source. Lily wants peace and time m to simply BE for a while. She knows it sounds crazy to her best friend, but she needs a break. She needs to feel normal. She needs to be left alone. But is her best friend truly receptive to that, or is that friend maybe not a friend at all?
Jagger isn’t looking for forever. Especially not with a client. But he can’t help wanting Lily. So he tries to play it cool and ends up playing it cooler than he ever thought he could. It takes some possible competition for Jagger to admit to both Lily and himself just what she means to him. But a declaration of love may not be enough to save them both from whatever or whoever wants to destroy Lily’s peace (and possibly her life).
The best part about this book? The fact that whatever you think to be true and dangerous may not be. Or it may. There are a few clues, but they’re so masterfully dropped that they could point in a few directions. And during it all, Lily and Jagger find themselves falling fast for each other. They just have to survive this to get to their forever. And that surviving also brings us closer to more of Jagger’s coworkers and promises more stories of love, loss, worry, and happiness ahead!
I throughly enjoyed this book and the more this series goes along, the more I'm falling in love with it, with the character's and the world that has been created. This book was slightly different from the previous 2. Liliana wasn't a no one she was a movie star that moves back to her home town and all is well, until the fun and games begin.
Once all the trouble slowly starts Jagger walks into her life and whilst helping things begin to take turns with every problem that Lily encounters. I think that fate and their friendship makes it hard to conceal their feelings. Now don't think I've spoilt anything because half of what happens you don't see coming. So expect the worst and enjoy this great suspense filled romance.
This book is full of emotions, fear and most of all fun between Lily and Jagger. This is all suspense its a great love story as well. One I would totally recommend. It gives a hell of a lot to this brilliant series.
I've said it so many times before, and I'll definitely say it over & over again, but A.K. Evans not only provides us with fantastic storytelling, but those covers are HOT HOT HOT! Lily Mack is a small town girl who made it big in Hollywood, but she's decided after several years that she's going to take a break & come back home for some peace. Jagger Lowe is another super sexy Harper Security Ops guy who ends up getting hired by Lily, to put some cameras up around her new house since things are going missing. These two have an instant draw to each other, but neither is about to cop to it, however, they can't keep that up for very long with the sparks flying like they are. The sexy times got going to bring the heat when all of a sudden, some person breaks into Lily's house & beats the hell out of her so now they know those moved items weren't the animals Lily thought they could be. Now Jagger is doing his best to protect her as the stalker ups the game. I LOVE this series so much with our sexy security guys, the danger lurking in the shadows, strong heroines, heat, and the twists coming in hot so I certainly CANNOT WAIT for the next story to come out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Lily has received professional success as an actress beyond her expectations but there are some challenges that go along with being a celebrity. Needing to escape the pressure and demands of her life she returns to her hometown only to find that she wasn’t able to leave everything behind.
Jagger is part of Harper Security, and he soon realizes that the threat against Lily is very real. She is unlike any celebrity he has ever known and as they spend time the chemistry between them escalates but so does the danger and there is nothing he won’t do to keep her safe.
Intrigue and romance combine as not only do Jagger and Lily have to confront the threat but their feelings that they are trying to deny for each other as well.
Jagger and Lily's story is a pretty fast read for me, or maybe I just read it so fast. I couldn't put it down though once I started reading. From the start until the end, their story is just so sweet. Ngl, the suspense and mystery were put on the backseat compared to the previous books. It was more focused on their relationship. But I'm fine with that as I loved reading about their relationship, to begin with. They're so sweet together too.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the more this series goes along, the more I'm falling in love with it, with the characters and the world that has been created. This book was slightly different from the previous 2. Liliana wasn't a no-one she was a movie star that moves back to her home town and all is well until the fun and games begin.
Once all the trouble slowly starts Jagger walks into her life and whilst helping things begin to take turns with every problem that Lily encounters. I think that fate and their friendship make it hard to conceal their feelings. Now don't think I've spoilt anything because half of what happens you don't see coming. So expect the worst and enjoy this great suspense-filled romance.
This book is full of emotions, fear, and most of all fun between Lily and Jagger. This is all suspense its a great love story as well. One I would totally recommend. It gives a hell of a lot to this brilliant series.
What a story! Gorgeous hunk meets a beautiful actress and then bad things happen? 😀 Liliana, or Lily, Mack is a famous actress who needs some downtime so heads back to her hometown to recharge her batteries. There some unexplained things start happening so she engages the help of Harper Sloan Security and meets Jagger Lowe.
I love Lily, she’s so down-to-earth and sensible. She cares about the people around her and tries to be a supportive friend. Jagger is a sweetheart who is every bit as caring and supportive as Lily, but also an alpha male who doesn’t take kindly to other males showing an interest in her. Together they are dynamite and when the fireworks go off there’s every color of the rainbow.
The destructive mysterious villain, who is out to get Lily, starts to show their nasty ways. But just who this villain really is was a bit of a mystery for so long—I loved it! Trying to work out who it could be, as snippets were revealed and the suspense continued to build, was very exciting. I will admit I did predict correctly but I think that was more luck than anything.
This is one terrific series and I highly recommend this book.
A.K. Evans never disappoints with her storylines, writing style and her characters that have you thoroughly loving them. Conceal is the third book in the Harper Security Ops series and it is fantastic. Lily and Jagger's story is a strangers to lovers, with a twist and suspense added romance that sees the town's superstar actress returning to her hometown and one of the men from Harper Security helping her out. Ms. Evans has us loving how protective Jagger is even though it is his job he seems to go above and beyond the regular job duties.
Lily left her hometown to chase her dream of being an actress but has returned home to get away from the pressures of the business. When Harper Security was recommended to her to get cameras installed outside her house because of suspicious activity, Jagger is the one to do the installation. Lily wasn't really looking for a relationship but when Jagger shows up she just might change her mind. Jagger is a professional at his job of being a bodyguard for high-profile clients and he would never cross that line but there is something about Lily that is pulling him towards her. The more time they spend together as friends has both of them realizing that they cannot fight the feelings that they have for one another. A little fishing, a little work around the house, and lunches and dinners together lead to the sparks flying once they do get together but there is still the fact that things keep happening around Lily's house. When danger rears its head, Jagger does everything that he can, but is it enough?
While reading this book I had a list of people that I thought were involved in the dangers that Lily found herself in. Was I wrong, yes even with the clues that Ms. Evans gave us, there was still doubt that the person you were thinking of couldn't do what they did to Lily. My head was spinning trying to figure out the person at the root of all of Lily's problems.
I highly recommend reading Conceal but make sure you have a good chunk of time as you will not want to put the book down.
Conceal is the third book from AK Evans in the Harper Security Ops series. Despite being interconnected, the stories have very little overlap. As such, all books can be read as a standalone.
Liliana, aka Lily Mack, is on top of the Hollywood scene having starred in a huge movie franchise spanning seven years. She's got the fame, the fortune and the crazed fan base actors dream of but Lily is over not being able to live a normal life. She's decided to step back and take a break in the small town where she grew up. People in Steel Ridge might know who she is but they leave her alone to enjoy her solitude. There's nothing more peaceful than her garden or going fishing, until random things start happening. Employing Harper Security was meant to give her peace of mind that wild animals weren't going to attack her but she's having an attack of a different kind.
Jagger Lowe is used to celebrities as a bodyguard to one of the world's biggest bands. He's always professional and doesn't get starstruck, until he meets Lily. Sure she's one of Hollywood's it list but there's something more about the stunning woman. Her quiet grace and unexpected humility draws him just as much as her beautiful face. Maintaining his professionalism isn't so easy this time!
I enjoyed Jagger and Lily's story as both characters were extremely likeable. However, with a suspense story I expect a little more drama. The suspense is so backseat in this story, there were legitimately times I forgot she was having any issues at all, which I found a tad odd for a suspense book. It just lacked a bit of tension for me but overall was a great read and a good addition to the series. The book I'm really looking forward to is Brixton's; the preview was great and I'm eager to get my hands on it!

Conceal is a nice, sweet romance with a little intrigue thrown in to keep us readers on our toes. While I thought I had read the two previous books in this series, I haven't and it didn't matter as this book is written well as a stand alone.
Lily Mack needs a break from her life as a big shot Hollywood star. She's been in back to back movies for the past seven years and has decided she needs a little me time in her home town of Steel Ridge. While it sounds it, she isn't really a poor me type of gal, she needed a break so she took it, not advertising where she's going or when she'll be back. I was lukewarm to her character and I can't pin point why. Same with Jagger, the man that installs her security cameras after things went missing in her yard. Both characters were meh to me, which I feel bad about sayin, however never found the connection.
"Staying away from Lily wasn't going to be an option. If anything, I planned to be there every day to protect her, even if I had to conceal my feelings for her while I did it."
Not a lot of concealing from Jagger and Lily when it came right down to it. More of an insta-love type of thing, which also isn't my cup of tea. That said, A.K. Evans kept me hooked with the troubles that seem to have found her hiding in her home town. It was a bit of a whodunit for a while until I finally guessed it correctly.
The book is well written and pretty safe if you will. Lily and Jagger were kind of boring, but again the action in the background kept me reading. As I mentioned, although this is the third book in the series, it's written well as a standalone with a nice epilogue to wrap things up.
A.K. Evans just keeps hitting them out of the park with hit after hit. This is the third book in the Harper Security Ops series and it is just as great as the first two were. Jagger Lowe has been asked to install recording equipment at Lily Mack’s house. Lily just moved back to her hometown to take a break from her busy life as an actress. Jagger usually is a bodyguard for the band My Violent Heart but they’re on break at the moment. Jagger tries to keep it professional with Lily and doesn’t think that he has a chance with her. Little does he know Lily is into him too. Lily’s friend wants her to hire him so that she can see him but Lily won’t do that. She doesn’t need to when she has a problem with the recording device not picking up when something sets off the light. Jagger is all too happy to go back to Lily’s to check it out. Jagger finally gets up the nerve to tell her that he’s in love with her. He’s so happy that she’s in love with him too. Someone is after Lily and runs her off of the road. Then they break into her house and beat her up. Finally they try to drown her. But Jagger is always there to rescue her and finally catch the guy. Once again Harper Security comes through! There’s no way that I could ever pick my favorite series from A.K. Evans because they all are awesome! You need to read them all! Get the list and go in order because they pretty much are related BUT they are stand-alone books if you can’t wait to read one that you think looks great. Spoiler, THEY ALL ARE!
She'd left to become a famous actor. Success left her needing to come home for a long break. Seven years, numerous awards (including Academy Awards), have left her needing that long break. Who would look for the memorable actress on her knees in the garden planting flowers not even wearing gloves? All was well until she had what she assumed were uninvited furry guests at night. Taking her father's advice she hired Harper Security Ops. Even though her job seemed simple, with her reputation they sent Jagger who was the head of their high-profile client protection.
He could handle what was supposed to be simple easily enough. He never allowed a personal relationship to interfere with his job--until he met her. It wasn't only her beauty but something more. She didn't have the better-than-you attitude of so many famous people.
The two of them became friends outside of the job, both seriously attracted, but unwilling to admit it to the other. Just as they began to see that there may be something more between them, the job changed from simple to life-threatening.
I enjoyed watching them try to hide their feeling from each on and then discover it was necessary and find feelings shared. There is steam, and limited action from other characters, mostly between the couple. A good story and while I would have liked to see them get together a little sooner it has lots of chemistry and feelings. This was an excellent start to what seems like it's going to be a captivating series. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
When Lily left Hollywood to head home to Steel Ridge, Pennsylvania for some extended time off, all she wanted was to live peacefully in the small town she grew up in. No movies, no paparazzi, just some relaxation, gardening and the occasional fishing trip out on the lake. When things start getting moved around at night, however, she thinks she has an animal issue and hires Harper Security Ops to put up some cameras for her.
While Jagger is used to working with celebrities, he quickly discovers that Lily is not your typical A-lister and is sweet, down to earth and really is just trying to live a happy life. He’s interested, but tries to stay professional until he realizes that Lily may have a much bigger problem than she thinks. Now, it will be up to Jagger to not only keep Lily safe, but give her an even bigger reason to stay in her hometown for a while.
Lily and Jagger have been my favorite couple of this series so far! I loved how their relationship starts with attraction, but is really built on friendship. I adored that they both took their time in opening up, making for some missed communications and a bit of drama. The suspense in this story stole, however, stole the show. Lily is definitely not getting the peaceful life she wanted and as things continue to escalate, Jagger does everything in his power to keep her safe. This suspenseful plot had some fantastic and unexpected moments and made for a great read. 4 stars!

One of my Favorite A.K. Evans Couples To-Date! A.K. Evans is back with “Conceal,” Book 3 in her Harper Security Ops series of suspenseful and steamy romances with a bit of a military-esque (yeah, I know it’s not a word, but just go with me on it) twist. Jagger is a swoony, sexy military veteran - an honorable protector by nature and everything Lily could want in a man. After returning to her tiny hometown after her film career launched her into stardom, the beautiful and independent Lily is determined to slow things down and take a breath. But when things start to get a little dicey, Jagger and Lily have to navigate all kinds of trouble while trying to latch onto the HEA they both want. In true Evans fashion, this book gives us strong, relatable characters and a page-turning plot that keeps us riveted to the end. In fact, I’ve read every single A.K. Evans novel to-date, and I can say with absolute certainty that Jagger and Lily are among my favorites. All the delicious chemistry, the lip-biting sexy bits, the humor, and the emotion are exactly the things that keep me coming back every single time. I even stated on social media that while I wanted to savor this story, in reality, I binged it like Ben & Jerry’s after a breakup! All the stars, Ms. Evans! Every. Last. One!
This is the third book in this series. They can be read as standalone books. I haven’t read the first book and wasn’t confused or lost at all. Liliana has come back to where she grew up to take some time off from Hollywood and that happens there. Jagger is hired to install some cameras for Liliana. He knows who she is right away. But he doesn’t treat her any differently. There is an instant attraction for both of them. However, neither is sure the other likes them. They begin a friendship. However, Jagger has always had his suspicions that there was possibly something else going on that what Liliana said when she asked for the cameras. Not that she wasn’t telling him something but that there was something more happening. Things get interesting when Jagger and Liliana admit their feelings for each other. Things begin happening. Could someone be after Liliana. Not many people where she went when she left Hollywood. So, is it someone from there or someone who figured out where she went? Or worse could it be someone from her hometown? Jagger is going to do his best to make sure nothing happens to Liliana. But, will it be enough. I loved this book so much. Jagger and Liliana make a fantastic couple. They have so much in common and they have an instant connection. I am loving this series more with each book. I can’t to read the next book in the series. Wonderful job A.K. Evans.
After working band security on the road, for months, Jagger Lowe wanted to stay home a while. He’s in luck, new client, gorgeous, popular a-list star Liliana ‘Lily’ Mack’s walking away from a lucrative franchise for extended downtime to relax and revisit her life before stardom, like fishing and gardening. Lately things are missing, moved or broken at her house. Jagger’s first step is installing cameras. Jagger’s a fan and struggles to be professional but Lily likes that Jagger doesn’t drool over her and wishes he’d ask her out.
The unseen nuisance continues to plague Lily as she and Jagger become friends and get closer. Lily shares her Steel Ridge life with her former assistant and one of the meanest girls from high school feeds the rumor mill when Lily won’t join their circle or pretend friendship. Jagger finally sorts his feelings for Lily, he drives over to tell her but she’s dressed for a fancy dinner with an LA friend who’s anxious for her to return. Meanwhile, Lily’s nuisance makes Steel Ridge unsafe for her. Rating: 4.25stars
Another Edgy suspense-filled story by the queen of romantic mystery, but still with all the great chemistry and brilliant spine-tingling connection between Lily and Jagger that I have now come to expect from this author.
Lily is moving away from the glitz of Hollywood and all the stress of acting, back to a place that she called home, Steel Ridge she is ready for a quiet life and to work on the garden in her new home, oh and of course do a little fishing, and that right there is what makes this book so special, A.K. Evans marvellously brought Lily to life in my head, I didn't see a glamourous actress all I saw was what Ms Evans wanted me to see, feel and understand about Lily. Jagger works for Harper Security and is just back from a bodyguarding assignment when he is asked to instal some cameras at Lily's house he is unprepared for the down-to-earth beauty he meets the couple are drawn to each other, but as the pair start to get to know each other the little incidents around Lily's house may not be caused by animals after all and as the danger intensives so does Jaggers resolve to keep Lily safe.
There are so many people that could be in the frame, and AK Evans led me down so many false paths with her little breadcrumbs that any detective novelist would have been proud of, but the suspense element took nothing away from the hot romance side, in my opinion it only enhanced what is a brilliant must-read.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Broken (Harper Security Ops #1) Tempted (Harper Security Ops, #2)
This is Liliana and Jagger’s story. Liliana has been working on movies for about seven years and knows she needs some down time. Her hometown is where she is headed. When she needs some security, she gets Jagger. The attraction is instant not that they fight It for long. The danger that is after her adds the little bit of drama to keep you hooked. The characters didn’t pull me in as much as the danger did. You can guess who the danger is after a while, but it still makes the story flow nicely. I read the first book in the series but not the second but in doing that it didn’t impact the story so don’t worry if are just picking up this one. It works well as a standalone.
I love the 3rd book in the Harper Security series! I was hooked right from the beginning! Jagger has been all over protecting people. He's ready to take a break and relax a little. Lily has had enough of the limelight and is ready to go back to her hometown. When strange things start to happen around Lily's home she is recommended to Harper Security Ops. From the moment she sees Jagger she knows there is something special about him. Jagger is instantly attracted to Lily but doesn't want to end up like a bodyguard cliche and fall for the beautiful actress. For Lily, Jagger is everything you would want in a bodyguard. The more time they are with each other the more they realize that instead of fighting and concealing their feelings, they can work together and find out who is out to get Lily. This book has some really good twists and turns. The chemistry between Jagger and Lily is pure fire! I loved everything about this book.
Conceal is the third book in the Harper Security Ops series. This was a new author and series for me and once I started reading, I was captivated. The storyline had many layers and the twists and turns had me on the edge of my chair. Lilliana was a famous actress and needing some downtime, she returns to her hometown. Planning on taking a break she keeps her arrival in town quiet but in a small town, the rumors spread fast. As she begins to suspect someone is stalking her, she hires Harper Security. Jagger was surprised by how down-to-earth Lilliana was and his feelings were hard to hide. When her life is in danger, he will do anything to keep her safe. This was a book full of intrigue, suspense, and romance. I loved every minute of it. I highly recommend the book and cannot wait to read the rest of the series. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is the third book in this incredible series, and this is Jagger and Liliana’s journey. Liliana left her hometown to follow her dreams, and after spending so much time in the spotlight, she returns home to regroup and have some normality back in her life. Lily becomes a target, and she is forced to hire a bodyguard, and Jagger is sent to instal cameras around Lily’s property after there is some suspicious activity. The sparks fly between these two, but with the danger escalating, will Jagger be able to keep Lily protected and safe? This is a well written story with intrigue, danger, suspense, twists, friendships, survival, trust, tension, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend. I received an advance review copy, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Liliana is a small-town girl turned celebrity. She's worked her way up from bit parts to major movie franchises. She has worn herself out and is taking a well-deserved hiatus for the foreseeable future.
But after a few weird occurrences and a potential break-in she's referred to Harper Security. Jagger is stunned to see the Hollywood beauty in the office but he's going to ensure that she is safe.
But the lines are blurring from client/protector to friends to possibly something else. Will Jagger still be able to protect Liliana when his heart is on the line?
I loved watching their feelings unfurl. They are a great match and the steam was HAWT! There are some cameo's from previous MC's in the series. The tension between them was just right and a few red herrings made me work hard to solve who the bad guy was!
This is the third book in this series by this author. This is the story of Jagger and Lily, these two characters have intense and hot and steamy chemistry between them from the start. This story is full of hot and steamy scenes, intrigue, chemistry, romance and so much more. This book is just packed full of suspense and twists and turns, you won't be able to put this book down till you get to the very last page. This is an amazing addition to this series.
I was given an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my honest review
We are back with the elite members of the Harper Security Ops. This time the story belongs to Jagger Lowe. Lilian Mack is a Hollywood star needing a break from all the bright lights and attention. Going back home seems like the perfect solution. Instead of the peach and quiet she’s searching, danger seems to be around the corner. Determine to stay safe, she hires Harper Security Ops knowing they are the best. When Jagger is assigned as lead bodyguard, neither of them expected the instant attraction. But as the danger surrounding them intensifies, will they not be allowed to find their HEA? This was another engaging story filled with whodunit, bad guys and the good hunky guys of Harper Security Ops. Kudos to both Tony Duran and Addison Barnes for bringing the story to life with their narrations. I was entrusted a copy of this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
So far this story is my favorite in the series! I loved Lily and Jagger’s story! She is a movie star that moved home to get a little peace and quiet from the industry. He works for Harper Security as a body guard. While he is in between jobs, he takes the job of setting up security cameras because Lily thinks she has an animal causing trouble at her house. He ends up being her body guard when her situation reaches a dangerous level, and the suspense ensues. I loved this story because I didn’t see the ending coming at all. It kept me guessing the whole time. Plus it was sexy! Jagged and Lily are the perfect couple. Their story was fun, suspenseful, and sexy. A brilliant combination that I didn’t want to set down until the end!
Enjoyable: This was a sweet slow burn romance with a little bit of suspense to keep things fresh and interesting. It took a while for Hollywood star Liliana and security expert Jagger to open up and be honest with one another about their feelings. They made a cute couple and I was pleased when things worked out for them. I liked that I felt like I really got to know the main characters and they were people that I would have liked to be friends with. All in all a solid addition to this great series. It can be read as a standalone but past characters do make cameo appearances. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.
Conceal is book three in the Harper Security Ops Series and this is Liliana (Lily) Mack and Jagger Lowe’s romantic suspense story. Lily is back home in the small town she grew up in to recharge her batteries, to get some relaxation what she didn’t bargain for was mysterious things going on all around her. Looking for some help she employs Harper Security Ops and that’s how she meets Jagger. What follows is a romance mixed with danger, suspense and mystery and I’m sure like me you will be on the edge of your seat as you follow Jagger trying to keep Lily safe. If you love romance suspense you should certainly be one clicking this entertaining read. A great addition to a great series of stand-alone reads.
