This one started out bad, but from there it got better. I liked how Gamble did his best to protect Victoria after she had been brutalized because of him. It allowed him to spend time with her and do something about his attraction to her. I liked that Gamble let Victoria know he was into her, yet let her set the pace of things. As things developed between them it was fun to see their often playful bickering about stupid things. Better was how at different time each of them had big revelations that they were actually in love with the other and not quite sure how that happened. The ending was great, loved seeing these two living their lives happy, surrounded by family.

Gamble is a member of the Riot MC (Biloxi), who has wanted to make his sister's evil POS attacker pay for what said evil POS did to her. Victoria is a public defender who doesn't get to choose her clients, and it's brought her to Gamble's attention. Unfortunately, because she & Gamble have had a few words, she's mistaken for someone important to him so she's kidnapped to be assaulted, & then dumped on his doorstep at the club all beat to hell, and now he's really about to snap so he decides he's going to protect her from here on out. Victoria is a very strong woman to be honest, and very independent so she really doesn't go out of her way to tell anyone what happened. Thankfully, despite a time or two of a ridiculous notion that he should stay away from her, Gamble is going to make sure she's protected, and they start to get closer. Of course there's still danger to her out there since she really couldn't identify her attackers, so there are twists coming in hot. I loved all the supporting cast who entertained me to no end with the humor they brought to the table, and there's even heat as well. Karen Renee is an amazing author whose work I need in my life & CANNOT WAIT for the next book to be released, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Another Winner!!
I have been following the Riot MC Biloxi Chapter and they all are five star reads to me. This is Gamble and Victoria’s story and its not for the faint of heart only because Victoria, a public defender, is mistaken to be someone important to Gamble so she is kidnapped, beaten and raped and then returned to the clubhouse addressed to Gamble.
Now nothing will stop him from protecting her. They may be opposites but that doesn’t seem to matter. This book as well as the others in this series is amazing with plenty of steam, drama, suspense and so much more. I highly recommend not only this book but the rest in this series.

Get ready to rethink everything you assumed you knew of Gamble and Victoria and their interactions. Sure, they seem like complete opposites, but sometimes the differences mask the similarities between two people. Yes, it appears they’re on opposite sides of the fence. But they’ve got more in common when it comes to family messes and a desire for love than you’d think. And when the worst happens to Victoria, Gamble is there like no other for her. Even when he knows he should back away, he can’t, and some of his brothers understand that oh so well and support him in every way possible.
I loved that these two communicated so well. Yeah, they had a few disagreements, but they were both mature enough to realize that talking things out and showing why one feels a certain way makes for a much less dramatic fight and a faster way to the makeup part of the program! And neither of them ran away when things got a little ugly. Victoria was so strong, but Gamble also gave her the safe space to find and remember that strength while supporting her without smothering her. And Gamble got a safe and loved space in return, so these two just needed to find a way to end the danger swirling around to get to their forever.
This series has me hooked and I’m really looking forward to whatever nonsense is in Block’s head, because I’m pretty sure Heidi is going to tear his determination to be a curmudgeon to shreds. And I’m 100% here for it!

This book picks up during one of the scenes in Cynic’s Stance. You don’t have to have read it to read this as it is a standalone that is part of a series.
Gamble noticed Victoria, a public defender, when she was chatting with one of his Riot brother’s old ladies at the police station and felt connected to her. When she is kidnapped, beaten, and raped then dropped off at the Riot MC clubhouse with a note for him, Gamble instantly takes charge. For some reason Victoria feels safe with Gamble around and he vows to help her through this trauma, having gone through a similar situation with his sister.
Full of family drama, alpha male pheromones, and sassy females, this opposites attract story of the lawyer and the biker is a slow burn, heartfelt romance. The caring protector and the independent woman who both were missing something find that each compliments the other. The scenes dealing with the emotional trauma are handled with care, but if you are triggered by sexual assault or trauma, this might not be a good book for you. I love the way Karen Renee layers the characters in her series, leaving me satisfied at the end of every book, but also hinting at what’s to come in the next books. Her characters seem like family.

We loved Gamble and Victoria's story. The characters were awesome, especially Victoria, she was a strong woman with a beautiful soul. This story is an emotional one pack with pain and sorrow and revenge.
Poor Victoria, our heart bleed for what she endured physically and mentally. Her family unit dysfunctional, although we loved her dad, where was their support when she needed them most? Loved how Gamble stepped up to the plate where Victoria was concerned, guilt may have played a part but, it was more because of his attraction for this woman he was drawn to.
Loved Gamble and Victoria as a couple, loved their interactions, pet names they may seem like complete opposites but, they perfectly fit one another. Their chemistry was awesome, and they were perfectly matched when it comes to sexual chemistry.
There is no doubt that Gamble is a dangerous man but, it seemed to us that Victoria brought out a softer, protective side, and we loved seeing that side of him.
Overall, another winner in this ongoing series. There was heartache and pain but, also friendship love and growth and packed with mystery and suspense. Victoria and Gamble have become one of our favorite couple in this ongoing series.

Excellent addition to the series. It can be read as a standalone, but for those keeping up with the series, it takes up where the prior book left off. This is Gamble and Victoria’s story. They have a brief past where Gamble and her had words outside the courthouse. As you may or may not know, Victoria is a public defender. Gamble shows up in the courtroom of her latest case hoping she loses once again and her client goes to jail. After the trial Gamble approaches her in the parking lot to thank her for losing. Little does he know this is going to start up a devastating event for Victoria. While out running she is attacked, violated and dumped outside the Riot MC’s Clubhouse with a note pinned to her addressed to Gamble. Gamble vows to get his revenge while protecting the sassy, sexy attorney.
From this point on the book takes us on a thrilling journey with lots of action, romance and family drama (Vic’s family that is). I highly recommend grabbing it up (the entire series too, if you haven’t started it is a must read). As for this reader she can’t wait to see what happens next - especially with Block & Heidi.

Victoria was a public defender (legal aid) which is how she met Gamble She wasn't quite so stellar at her job nor was she enamored with it.
A case brings her into the orbit of Gamble's world and into his arms
These two were a hot mess when they came together -
He was a nonconformist, quick to ignite, overprotective,

I enjoyed the way Gamble was with her after her trauma. How he protected her but still gave her space to find her legs again. The whole MC was filled with unorthodox characters who brought so much to this story.

When enemies deliver a bruised and beaten woman to the club addressed to Gamble he realized the casual conversations between them made his enemies believe she meant something to him. He felt obligated to protect and care for her. As he watched her gain her physical and internal strength he felt more than just her protector. But he wouldn't push and he would make sure she was safe.
A biker? An MC club, not a gang was made clear. Meeting them and seeing their loyalty made a difference in her opinion. Still, feeling safe and more for one who'd started out as such a jerk? How?
It may have started out as a mistake but things changed and the enemy was determined to make him pay and she was the target.
Watching their opinions change, their feeling grow, her becoming a stronger person, the steam, this one has so much to offer. Don't miss it.

Gambler & Vic
I loved Gambler & Vic. After hearing about his life as a child I'm so grateful he choose a different path than his father. I loved how Gambler was there for Vic after she suffered such a violent and tramatic assault. Gambler having deal with his sister's trama was able to be there for Vic in a way that made her feel comfortable. Vic is such a strong, loving, sassy and loyal women. The ending was absolutely perfect and I can't wait to see more of them and their family in the future.

Quite a gritty and compelling story. Gamble was such a protective, gentle, and patient man when it came to how he treated Victoria. On the other hand, he wanted revenge for her and his sister, and he tried to wait for the right time. Victoria was strong, determined to work past her trauma, and quite willing to take a chance with Gamble. The secondary characters were wonderful and definitely added a welcome dimension to the story. I highly recommend this book.

This is the fifth book in this phenomenal series, and this is Gamble and Victoria’s journey. Gamble is holding a grudge against his sister, attacker, and when Victoria is dropped off at the MC, as a message for Gamble, he will do whatever he must to help her recover from her injuries and be able to move on with her life. Victoria is a public defender, and her recovery is slow. There is an attraction between these two, and they may appear to be opposites, but they complement each other perfectly. This is a well written story which has danger, suspense, intrigue, tragedy, loyalty, trust, twists, justice, family, vengeance, healing, and love, which leads to a thrilling page turner. I look forward to reading more from this gifted author whose work I always highly recommend.

I was captivated by this story. He finds an attorney who captures his attention. She finds a biker who sparks her soul. This story has sassy dialogue, an attack, the bad guys continue to harass, confrontation settles most of the dispute, and a delivery that warms the heart. I so enjoyed this story. The MC characters are a riot and the romantic angst finally led to an HEA. No cheating, and no cliffhanger. The epilogue was great. Enjoy this one. I certainly did.

Victoria, a Public Defender is kidnapped, beaten then raped and dumped at the Riot MC's clubhouse with a message for Gamble, he takes her to his room to heal from her injuries whilst he seeks his Vengeance not just for her but his sister.
Action packed with lots of emotions running through, I couldn't put it down even if I tried.

I really enjoyed this book. I was hooked from first page. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Gamble and Victoria together, when they first meet Gamble doesn't make a great first impression. But they are thrown together again when it all goes wrong for Victoria. They make a great couple, as they both have massive patience.
I can't wait for more.

Gamble and Victoria, what an amazing story. Both of these characters were so easy to fall in love with. Gamble's vengeance got Victoria in trouble but started something great. I love this series.

This one was not at all what I expected, I thought for sure this one would be a little darker & emotional. Don’t get me wrong it was emotional & had some darkness but nothing like what I expected. Gamble & Victoria found each other even though they’re complete opposites. Can’t wait to read the next book.

I love Gamble how he’s so protective. When Victoria is beaten, raped and dropped at his door with a note left for him, he jumps into action. This book is filled with drama, action & wow at the alpha men. I loved it all!

2.5 stars. Overall, just a bit too corny for me. “Kitten” as a term of endearment, H shortening her name Victoria to “Vic” and “Vickie” and possibly the cringiest of all- a biker who wears an Imagine Dragons t-shirt?!! I guess I could have stomached the cheese factor if the story was compelling but unfortunately it was boring and generic as well.

Gamble finds himself protecting the lawyer he had words with a while back when he went to pick up Fiona at the police station. He believes she’s too good for him and that their worlds are too far apart, but he can’t seem to get her out of his mind and when she ends up at the compound uninvited and unbeknownst to her, she finds a protector and a new group of unlikely friends.
Victoria is a public defender, and apparently not a very good one. She’s lost her case in court defending a man that really has no business being let out on the streets, but she also knew that he was not innocent of what he was being accused of, so when she lost the case and he ended up in jail, she wasn’t too upset about it. However, her losing her case does not look good for her if she wants to find a different law firm to work for. If only one of the many she has applied to would return call her for an interview.
I liked this story of opposites attract, figuring out love, and finding that one person that just gets you and accepts you as you are, no need to change for them. Gamble and Victoria are complete opposites, but they work perfectly as a couple. Gamble is a such a caring, protective, loyal man that any woman would be lucky to have interested in her. Victoria is a woman that stands on her own, but knows that when she needs help, she will have someone there to stand beside her and protect her. When she finds herself in danger, that person is Gamble and his club that come to her rescue and fight to protect her. The club is a family and when Gamble finally decides that he can’t fight his attraction anymore, his club will stand with him to protect his woman, even if they are a little late in that area. I give this book a 4-star review and I am really looking forward to Block and Heidi’s book next.

The club is a family and when Gamble finally decides that he can’t fight his attraction anymore, his club will stand with him to protect his woman, even if they are a little late in that area. I give this book a 4-star review and I am really looking forward to Block and Heidi’s book next.

Gamble’s Risk is book 5 in the Riot MC Biloxi series by Karen Renee and it is a book full of emotion and passion. The book centres on Gamble and Victoria. Gamble is part of the Riot MC and being part of the Brotherhood is something that he lives for, as well as holding a grudge against his sister’s attackers. When a message is sent to him in the guise of a woman who has been horrendously attacked. Gamble is determined to help Victoria any way he can, even if that means getting revenge on those who have attacked her…all she needs to do is trust him.
This was a wonderful addition to this series which had topics that some people may find triggering but were dealt with in a sensitive manner. I liked that Victoria and Gamble’s relationship build over time, even though both of them had an attraction to each other as well as how Victoria doesn’t let what happens to her beat her.
Gamble is definitely an alpha male and at times can steamroll over Victoria, but she only lets him do that to a point, especially when it comes to making decisions about her life and who she is as a woman.
I love seeing familiar characters pop up in this series and this book was no different. There is certainly a sense of brotherhood in this book as well as a sisterhood as more of the female characters come together to support one another. As with previous books in the series, there are some serious sexy times, some action and some seriously hot aloha males.
Definitely a book to add to your TBR list.

So, in the last story, Cynic's Stance, we got a glimpse of Gamble and Victoria, the little bit was very heated in a hate/hate type of way, BUT we all know that where there is heat, there is FIRE. Gamble and Victoria proved that the chemistry they had was just that, on fire. I won't beat around the bush, this does deal with a situation that will make some uncomfortable, possible trigger. But this is an MC read, so if you're expecting unicorns and rainbows, this is not the read for you. Danger, violence, drama, and super hot naughty moments are what you get with this read. I give Gamble and Victoria 4 stars.

A Great Book
This book is jam packed with action and drama, shooting, killing, lots of twists and turns. It does have rape and violence in it so if that is a trigger for you be prepared.
There is also an all for one with the brothers because when one needs help all will do that. So will the wives. There’s also scorching hot, steaming, sexy, chemistry. That is off the charts.

LOVED IT!
Ms Karen has done it again! but I knew that about this author😍 she's very talented and I've been reading her for some years now! Can't wait to get my hands on the final book in the series, but for now I'll settle for Block's road!

Took me awhile to read this one!
Went through the same thing when I was in the Army! I'm glad Vicky came out the other side better off than before that happened! And Gamble proved what a sweetheart he is!
