Kinsley adams was a new author for me and after reading the first in the series Dating Monsters I quickly fell down the rabbit hole and couldn’t put any of the books down! I love werewolves in particular as they are my favorite type of shifters so I was incredibly happy when Lucy got her own series and who doesn’t love Sam ?!?
While I had been anticipating this book what feels like forever I wasn’t let down and I was surprised how well Lucy had taken to being made alpha although the fight scene with Corbin was a let down.

Lucy has had a hard few years.
First her biological father tracks her down after an evil werewolf nearly turns her. Surprise! She might have been human born, but she is all werewolf now - and on her way to being a butt kicking alpha, if she can survive her own angst, her mate and his drama, and let us not forget the many folks out to kill her.
Her relationship with bestie Anna, now a newlywed vampire, is solid- but somebody needs to remember to order blood if she and hubby need to avoid hunting for it in the woods.
Her parents- drama big time. too bad mom thinks her being there is supporting Lucy - dangers abound mom.
Will Lucy survive the challenges from family and pack? Will they survive?

Werewolf Drama
Lucy is a human born werewolf, which means she wasn’t born that way, but was turned. The werewolf who attacked her in England is back and is attacking other humans born to werewolves. She went home with her mate Sam only to find that his pack member’s human relative had been attacked.
Lucy’s biological father was the alpha from the Mississippi pack, but he died and left Lucy in charge. What’s a girl to do when she has a pack depending on her and her mate is the heir to a different pack?
There’s lots of plot action, enough to keep it interesting, but then there’s the added spice. I normally don’t mind a little spicy action, but it’s kind of stuck in there in a very cringey way that the story could mostly do without. Pretty good story, downgraded by unnecessary bedroom action to four stars.

This book continues the story from prior books about Lucy and Sam and everyone else. There is enough backstop in the book that you could read it without the prior books, but it is so much easier if you don't. I laughed at the scene when Sam is sleeping and Lucy can't. Sounds like the nightly ritual in my house, and yes I want to smack my husband with the pillow too. My emotions were all over the board as everything happens. I can't wait for the next one.

First off you have to read the first four books to understand everything that is happening. This is a great story about Lucy becoming who she is mean to be. Her relationship with Sam gives a good fun element to this story. This is Great Paranormal fun. This story made me laugh and I Loved it all!!! No Spoilers!.

Lucy has a lot on her plate she needs find Corbin, Figure out if she wants to be Alpha of her sperm doners pack and try and spend some time with her mate Sam/ THis story hits ethe ground rining and doesn't stop. A fantastic read. I could not put this book down.

Totally EXCELLENT 😁
This series of the werewolves is absolutely Amazing with non-stop action, intense situations, continuous violence, a nasty bad guy and wonderful characters all around 😄. Thanks again Kinsley, I've fallen in Love with all of the books and can't wait to read more 🤓.

Wow! Lots going on waiting for Corbin to show his ugly face! Love how Lucy is finally owning up to her alpha status and it's cute how supportive Sam is. It's a shame about her mother and a few of her pack mates but it's really kicking her drive up a few notches. I'm still shocked at that ending but I'm also excited! I can't wait!

OMG, where to start. This book made me cry, laugh, mad, etc. lol. I have so much to say, but I don't want to give it all away, so I have to keep it in. Let's just say I'm shocked by the events of this book. I couldn't put it down. I read it in a day. But I'm so happy at the ending of the book. Definitely can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

Lucy's and Sam's story has a few surprises and some dangers. As Lucy's sperm donor appeared and we found out that she may have been born a human but had Alpha blood.
The story is fun as always.

Lucy is recovering and also training. Corbin is still out there and there are some interesting things taking place. This may not be the path Lucy would have chosen, but maybe it's just where she belongs? I love Cole also and hope to see more of him.

3.5 ⭐️ it was so nice to see Lucy growing into her role as alpha! The amount of growth she has had already is crazy and it makes me like her so much more!
