I expected it to be better. As someone who has kept pace with Sam Wick's journey, I can certainly state that this book falls short of the intense action-packed episodes seen in Chase Austin's previous books in the series.
But he has exceptionally woven the story line, adding new twists and characters. The new characters are portrayed in such a manner that it is possible to have more books in the series.
Eagerly waiting for Sam Wick's next adventure....

Whether on the hunt or being hunted Wick keeps to a beat and finds plenty of action. Both Wick and Natasha, while on the run, seek justice or rather, revenge? What really makes them tick? They get involved with a very down-trodden community in a district of Columbia S.A. that is just trying to survive while the corporate elites want to put them out to dry or die.
In their search for truth, they discover a world of gangs, corporate greed for money and control at any cost including dangerous pharmaceuticals – sound familiar? Fictional writing for entertainment has always served as a vehicle to wake people up to what is happening around them. While you are enjoying the story, take note of the comparisons to what we are facing in the real world today – there lies the thriller and a call to action.
I’ve enjoyed reading all of Chase Austin’s books and this is no exception. However, a little too much was left up to the next installment for my complete satisfaction. This expanded writing introduced several more characters and I expect more layers to the overall plot of the series. So, as I said in the beginning, the beat goes on… I received and arc and this is my honest and voluntary review.

I received an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
In this story, Chase and Natasha are searching for an individual and they believe they are in Columbia. They arrive in a small town in Columbia and begin their search for info on this person. Chase has discovered that a lawyer who had some activities with this person happened to be looking for someone to work in his office. This lawyer was involved with fighting a large conglomarant in court. The lawyers that Luis was fighting in court were taking steps to wiin that involved violence. The lawyer that Luis was going against was someone he knew well.
The group that was fighting Luis brought in a new attorney to handle thrial. Things did not go well for Luis after this happened.
Learn what role Wick and Natasha played, what Luis's oppentent had in relation and what the latest event in the court fight created, then you need to read this book. It is well worth it.

Wick & Natasha are on the run from their respective units so they don’t have the normal backup support they are use to. They arrive in Columbia looking for Malik who they believe is involved with a terror attack on US soil. They have to figure out how to do things on their own without support or financial backing. They get jobs with Ortega a local lawyer involved in trying to help protect people of the slums from a large and powerful corporation. We are introduced to a couple of new characters. One is sent to eliminate Wick. Jorge is sent to investigate corruption on the part of the Drug Corporation. Both of these go nowhere. The book comes to an abrupt ending. I was left thinking where is the rest of the story! I’m guessing this leads into the next book. Good story with good vs evil but incomplete.

Having read the Sam Wick series from the beginning this book starts where Wicked Ghost ended. Wick and Natasha are determined to get to the bottom of who’s really responsible for the terrorist attack on the United States. This search takes them to the slums of Columbia and getting tangled up with CopaAndina, the largest corporation.
Meanwhile there is a kill order out for Wick with Derek Carter, a psychopath former TF-77 team member on his trail. Natasha is being hunted by the CIA.
This is a bit different from the prior Sam Wick thrillers, but still enjoyable and filled with drama, suspense and intensity. Can’t wait for the next chapter in the Sam Wick series.

Another action packed story in the Sam Wick saga. Sam with the help of Natasha a CIA agent working as ghost agents hunted by their own side carry on trying to find the terrorists responsible for attacks against their country getting involved in a battle with a large drug company using its power to avoid a legal battle whilst trying to take over a large area of slums for their own use. All in all a good read and it's ending leaves you wanting the next book.

Uh, oh... I like this author stories but this one is a little slow. Sam Wick is a favorite of mine but where's the rollercoaster gone? Where are the story that wants u to hang up by a thread?
Wick character is a stablish one, were he went, do or don't but in this story is a little out of sorts, so I took one star cause all this little petty things call cliffhanger, hate them.
I received a copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

An action-packed spy thriller that had a well written storyline and outstanding realistic characters. Plenty of action and suspense in this page turning enjoyable read. An unexpected ending with a cliffhanger conclusion. Highly recommended book and series. Bring on the next adventure with Wick and co.

Sam Wick is back and instead of being the hunter, he is being hunted by the people who were supposed to protect him. Another action packed thriller with twists and turns to keep you turning the pages to see what will happen next. If you enjoy spy thrillers, Wicked Chase is a must read. I received an advance copy of this book from the author and this is my honest review.

Starts with a bang and ends on an astonishing cliff hanger. I wish I could have read further.
Emotions run high and worries abound.
Their original quest is sidetracked by a plight of a million unheard voices.

Brilliant!
Edge of your seat, thrilling!
I couldn't put this book down, loved it! Wick is a great character that always give you an action packed, thrilling read. He uses all his tactical skills, taking on personas to fit the need and chooses his moments to strike.
The story is not completed and I'm so looking forward to the next book in the series!

This is my 1st Sam Wick book. I found myself rereading looking for clues. It's a fast paced action pack movie in book form, playing ut in your head. I can't wait to read more of the series! Definitely a must have for any action fans. A roller coaster ride you don't want to stop. I had no issues picking the series up in this book. Be forewarned you'll not want to be interrupted or put it down.

Wicked love.
Wick has found himself without huge resources and help. After a career of carrying out missions with no emotional attachment he finds himself helping others from the heart. He might even find love. But will his efforts fail. Well, you will have to wait for the next book. This one is TBC. Good reading and nice to see another side of Wick. Nice work.

Sam Wick has been framed and is on the run. Those that he should be able to trust and have his back have their own agenda. Luckily, maybe, he is joined on the run by Natasha Suri (CIA). As they search for the truth they are inadvertently drawn into a huge injustice against humanity that although seemingly has nothing to do with their mission is impossible to ignore. The story is an action packed spy thriller full of danger and twists and turns that will have you congratulating yourself that your worst boss was so much better this manipulative deceitful bunch! Although a complete story, the mission is not yet complete as there are more clues to uncover to reveal the frame. Looking forward to the next book. I received this ARC and this is my honest review.

A good read with great characters right up to the end when I felt like I was only half way through because it seems that the story has no conclusion. I must admit that I like stories that are complete and this doesn’t feel like that as the main characters are just left in limbo.

a good page turner.
A few stretches of reality but for the most part an easy read and with enough substance to be believable (especially in today’s world of the elites who will stop at nothing to get what they want, even at the expense of everyone else, even their own “family”.

Another brilliant book in this series, where Sam and Natasha are on the run, all the obstacles they conquer along the way and a real cliffhanger. Love this series and again can't wait for the next one.
