She blew into town like a tornado
Stirring up everything I wanted to stay the same.

Helen drives me nuts
Infuriating, icy, sexy.
I can’t go a day without running into her.

One kiss burns too hot to ignore.
Now I hate to leave her bed.
It feels like more than a one-night stand.
I want it all, all of her.

Just when it’s perfect,
She ghosts me.
Something’s wrong, and she won’t say.

I thought she was running scared
But she turned up with a box of donuts
A secret I wasn’t expecting to hear.
It could tear us apart,
Or make sure we last forever.

Everett is the Last Single Man Standing Till Helen Turns His World Sideways ❤⭐👣⭐❤

Everett is the last single man of the group and looking at the other couples with envy. Growing up with money doesn't compare with absentee parents though, but his Uncle Harry was there for him. Helen is giving up her Chicago chef life to head home to Ashford to help with her ailing father and to get his dream of Dina's diner back from the ruin her sister Carrie left it in. She doesn't fit the small town vibe with her short dark hair, tattoos and standoffish attitude with people she doesn't know but she clicked with Rachel. Dancing around their attraction Everett and Helen did a lot of glaring until Rachel had her baby girl and Helen got to know Deacon and figured she'd give the other mountain men loggers a chance... including Everett. Their passionate night together proved how strong their attraction was but when Helen had to head back to Chicago for unfinished business, Everetts abandonment issues flared creating obstacles that weren't there. Settling that fear when Helen came home was the trigger needed to take their relationship forward... until she became sick. What happens when Helen ghosts Everett again?? Will she head back to her life in Chicago?? What happens when Helen and Everett get the shocking news of becoming parents??? Grab your copy of this MUST READ and find out the details!!! Great characters, his/her POV, no cliffhanger and a HEA you'll cheer for. You also get a chance to catch up with the other couples from previous books in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and happily purchased a copy for my favorites collection. Looking forward to the next Natasha L. Black story.

E IS FOR EVERETT: A Secret Baby, Mountain Man Romance is Book #5 in (Men of ALPHAbet Mountain Series.) All but one mountain man found their true love in someone working at Dina's Diner. Must be something in the food.

Everett Westin was content with his life since going in on a very successful Logging Company with his two ex-military buddies. Everett was sharing a mountain cabin with Deacon when they first moved down to Tennessee. But when Deacon found the love of his live in Rebecca, and they were already expecting a baby, Everett knew he needed a place of his own. Since Rebecca owned a house. Her and Everett just switched homes.

Everett liked living in a house all by himself, but it was lonely. He even went and got a big dog to keep him company. Helen Carmichael was the new manager of Dina's Diner. Everett loved to eat at Dina's & loved to eat there more when Helen was working. They seemed to keep crossing paths, but it was a slow beginning for them. When Helen got tired of him not making the first move, then she did the honor. It was a quick turn of them going from a first kiss to let's go home. Neither one seemed to want to slow it down after that. There was a period were she was sick and he felt she was avoiding him. She finally showed up with a box of donuts & a secret she wanted to tell him. The secret would make sure they would last forever.

Helen is coming back to her hometown to run the family diner because her family needs her. She doesn't really feel like she belongs in her hometown anymore. She feels different from everyone but when she meets Rachel, she has an instant friendship from the start. Everett is drawn to Helen and wants to explore things with her. Helen hasn't decided if she is staying when she first arrives but its not long the she sees how things are with the diner that she needs to be there permanently. She enjoys the time she is sharing with Everett and wants to see if there's more. However when an issue comes up with the sale of her property in the city she has to go back to complete it. She leaves a message with Rachel but she gives it to her man and by the time Everett gets it he worries about whether Helen will be coming back. Will Everett see that Helen wants to be with him? Can they find a way to be together?

This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

A Heartfelt, Fiery Small-Town Romance 💙🔥

I love a good small-town romance, especially when it brings grumpy/sunshine tension, undeniable chemistry, and a twist that tugs at the heartstrings—and E is for Everett delivers all that and more!

Everett is the kind of hero I can’t resist—gruff, set in his ways, and completely unprepared for a woman like Helen. She’s bold, stubborn, and absolutely the last thing he thought he needed. But their chemistry? Off the charts. One heated moment turns into something deeper, and just when Everett is ready to admit what she means to him, she’s gone.

Then she comes back—with a secret that changes everything.

💖 Why This One Stole My Heart:
✔ Enemies-to-lovers sparks that turn into something real
✔ Sizzling tension that builds into deep, emotional romance
✔ Small-town charm with the perfect dose of drama
✔ A twist that made my heart clench and race at the same time

Helen and Everett’s journey is intense, passionate, and full of unexpected turns. If you love alpha heroes who fall hard, heroines who give as good as they get, and stories that leave you breathless, this one is a must-read! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I have loved all of the books so far in this series, but I think I like this one the best. Very low angst but still smoking hot.

Helen is the daughter of the owners of Dina's Diner. She had been living in Chicago as a chef and when her sister royally screwed up the innerworkings of the diner, Dina (mom) called Helen for help.

Everette is the lone wolf of the trio of military "brothers" as Carter and Deacon have found their soulmates and are living their best lives.

At first Everette didn't think he had a chance with Helen and Helen just thought her days in TN were numbered. Until that first kiss and grind against a car door and some severely smoking hot sexy times and then the two words from her doctor that she never, ever expected to hear.

This was such a fantastic book that I literally have 2 Kindles so I can binge without a recharge and wait situation.

Now, I know from sneak peaking that Finn is next, but we really didn't get a glimpse of this man, so I am now curious as to what his story is. Inquiring minds can't wait!

This is the 5th story in Men of ALPHAbet Mountain and we finally get Everett’s story. He is an ex military man who invest with his 2 brothers in a Logging Company and becomes a mountain man wearing flannel shirts. Everett realizes he is missing having someone special and a family in his life as his brothers do. Helen is a chef who runs the local diner, Dina’s leaving her big city job in Chicago after her sister makes some bad decisions for a year. Everett and Helen don’t get along right away but once they run into one another out of nowhere they find common ground spending time together realizing they’re attracted to one another. They end up spending a fantastic night together and start a relationship. There are ups and downs, Everett has a history of being left and Helen fears she’s sick similar to her father. Once they talk do they understand one another and figure out a way to move forward. This is a beautiful love story! Everett is one of the owners of the logging business with his buddies from the service. He had to be feeling lonely since all his friends had a wife or girlfriend with babies. I loved that he went to the pet rescue and ended up with a big puppy. Of course he wanted to take all the dogs home! He had seen Helen a couple of times at the diner, but never really talked to her. It was crazy that Helen was a big time chef and now she is back home helping her parents with the diner. If you read any of the previous books, you know how the diner went down hill and lost a lot of business because of her sister. Even though Rebecca was pregnant, she came in part time to help out with the diner. Helen and Rebecca rocked the same look with all the tattoos and became good friends. I was glad when Helen started noticing Everett as the sexy guy he was. It was interesting watching the ups and downs of the two getting together. I encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.

Everett is ready for it all

E is For Everett: A Secret Baby Mountain Man Romance (Men of Alphabet Mountain Book 5) by Natasha L. Black is a sweet and spicy secret baby romance set in fabulous and friendly small mountain town. Everett has watched his friends fall in love like the felled timber of their logging company and finds himself yearning for a lady love and a family of his own. Helen returns to the family diner as an accomplished chef. Unsure of long term plans after the fast-paced and exciting culinary world in Chicago, she and Everett find their chemistry and allure to one another undeniable.
The plot focuses on each character individually as they vacillate and struggle with insecurities and uncertainties compounded by a failure to communicate.
Overall, all is resolved. Everett is beyond thrilled, he gets his lady love and a baby to boot while Helen gets her man and a small town family she didn't realize she actually wanted.

I have absolutely loved reading this whole series of A to E and I really enjoyed reading this story about Everett and Helen. Everett and his buddies had started a business in the logging industry and slowly but surely all of his friends started pairing up and finding their true love and starting a family. He had always wanted to have a family on his own so that he could show them the love that he missed out on in his own family. Then he meets Helen who has come home from Chicago to take over her family‘s diner. Helen is cute and has tattoos and not who he would imagine starting a relationship with. But things move quickly and before they know it they have a family on the way and both have worked through their insecurities and find their happily ever after.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.

I have really enjoyed reading, E is for Everett: A Secret Baby Mountain Man Romance (Men of ALPHAbet Mountain) by Natasha L. Black because it was a slow but steamy story about Everett and Helen. Their chemistry was instant, but it was a slow burning one. I loved the steaminess of the two and I loved the intensity. Reading this story was great because it tells what is going on with the other characters in the series. Helen was very independent and smart. I loved her description that she had some tattoos. I loved the cover of this book. I can totally picture Everett looking like this. His character was very alpha and he loved with his whole heart. I would highly recommend reading this book and the series. It is steamy and fun and a great read all around. I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily choosing to leave this review.

I brilliant addition to the Secret Baby Mountain Man Romance series.
Everett and Helen are great characters, both fiercely independent and happily single. But Every is beginning to realise he might want more. Helen in the other hand has just moved back to Ashford and all her time is set on bringing the dinner back to life. Though she does notice the hot mountain man when he comes in.
Both of them are so wrapped up in there own thoughts they don't see what is right in front of them until Everett takes a chance.
Throw in a lot of miss communication on both sides, unexpected trips and feeling unwell to let the doubts in.
I loved the character detail and plot depth. The overarching series links are there and previous leads all have there place in the tale.
I loved this book and highly recommend it and the series.

This was a really sweet story. It caught me a little off guard that it wasn’t the same kind of romantic suspense that the previous books were. But, there’s enough emotional baggage for Everett and Helen to unpack that it wouldn’t have been fair to ask them to deal with anything else at the same time. I loved the way Helen is depicted as being edgy and unconventional while also being the small-town girl-next-door. I feel like it encourages more of us to be able to show the wildly different parts of our selves to the world. Everett made me want to cuddle him close like a teddy bear. And I absolutely adored getting to meet his uncle. My fingers are crossed that we may get to see more of Uncle Harry in a couple of books, because I think he would make a fantastic mature romance hero.

3.5 stars

While I loved the idea of mountain men and all that greatness that comes with it, I could not give this more stars. I genuinely enjoyed it but I also felt that there wasn’t a whole lot going on. There didn’t seem to be any real conflict. The two main characters actually didn’t even have a full interaction for a good chunk of the beginning. While I understand the build up, there wasn’t much. I loved everything about Everett and Helen but, like a lot of novels that I’ve given low ratings for, there seemed to be some time missing. I wish we would have gotten to see more dynamics of the relationship between Everett and Helen. While it was nice to see them together, it seemed almost superficial because we weren’t given any more than just the few times in the bedroom. Yes, Everett was wonderful but I needed more relationship growth.

This is such a brilliant read.
Helen is back in her home town to run the family diner but she can't keep her eyes of the hot guy every time she sees him.
Everett is loving his life running the logging business with his best friends but feels like he is missing out on something as all his friends have settled down and have families now. He is drawn to Helen but she is keeping her distance.
When they eventually start talking they can't get enough of each other and spend all the time together.
The chemistry between them is off the charts so when she starts to ghost him he is confused and sure that she is going to break up with him.
I loved how they were together and loved the ending.
This is a must read.

Their Whirlwind Love Story -
Everett was a sexy as hell, warm, kind hearted and lovable alpha male and Helen on the other hand was a hardworking and talented chef, who would do anything for her family and friends. The connection was instant the moment they met, but it took them time to get their act together and once they did, all hell broke loose, with a few bumps and bruises.

You will definitely be hooked on the story from the beginning, with the characters from the previous two books also making an appearance in this story to make it really interesting. This is another page turner, which I absolutely loved and I am happy to recommend.

The men of Alphabet Mountain never disappoint! This series is full of hits and Everett is another one I couldn't put down! Natasha L. Black has hit a winning formula for steamy alpha mountain men who you can't help but want to notice, protect you and who will do anything to make you safe. With strong alpha men sometimes the heroines will be overly weak to compensate but not here. Helen is strong in her own right, she is sassy and edgy. Helen ghosts Everett making their happy ending a bit uncertain but their chemistry is sure to win out. I couldn't think of a better couple to round out this series.

Helen’s work has been her life. Now she’s had to give up her city dreams and return home to run her parents restaurant. Having been away for so long it’s tough trying to fit back in to home town life. She initially comes across as a bit standoffish. This doesn’t deter Everett who would definitely like to know her more. Although a friendship begins between them, these two give off so many sparks it’s only so long before they act on their attraction to each other. Are they ready for what comes next?
This story will have times of passion. It will also have plenty of angst and miscommunications between Helen and Everett. Overall this was a good read of new and existing relationships and being able to deal with whatever life throws at you.

I was very curious as to how this would start out ..
The description sounded very good and I am happy I gave it a chance..
I liked the characters a lot they are very relatable and it took me a minute to like Everett I was kinda not liking him early in the story but I got to understanding his personality better further in the story.

I do like how she slowly built her characters personality up making them more in-depth as the story continued and they slowly interacted with each other and their chemistry was amazing!!
And the ‘background characters’ also made the story very funny .. enough so that I’ll be looking into the rest of the series.
A book I would definitely recommend!

Omg what a great book, i have enjoyed this series, all the book have been excellent and each one is stand alone but all characters interlock. I enjoyed this book about Everette, he thought he could never have a family and find happiness. He is jealous of his friends who have found love and have children. Along comes Helen who has been a chef in the big city, but needs to come back and help her family. They own a cafe and her father is sick, her sister did a poor job doing it before and did a runner. When Everette and Helen meet they have a strong connection, only they are both afraid and hold back. Will one make a brave step, have to read it to find out. It's a great read and i highly recommend .

Great Read!!!

I enjoyed reading E is for Everett(Men of Alphabet Mountain Book 5)!!! All about Helen Carmichael is thirty-two years old and a Chef, working at parents diner & Everett Westin is late thirties and a Logger & a partner in the Logging Company.
Everette meets Helen at the diner one afternoon, he drives home thinking about her the whole way! They keep bumping into each other, and leaving lasting impressions all the way around! Read about Helen & Everett and all the unlikely places they keep ending up together!! This is the fifth book in this series, and in order to understand all the players you should start with book one!!! It’s a fantastic series, you won’t be disappointed!!! I can’t wait to read Book 6!!!!

Loved this book

I enjoyed this love story a lot. Helen moved back home to take over running her parents diner. She and Everett met but neither knew if they wanted to get to know each other better. She gave off vibes that she didn't seem to like him. Until she got to know his friends and saw they were really great guys. She gave Everett a chance. Everett came from a dysfunctional family with the exception of Uncle Harry. His parents would just take off and leave him with the servants until Uncle Harry would get him. It was sweet the way they both changed when they found love. Read it, I think you'll enjoy it too. You'll enjoy the dog too. Written by Cindy :)

I received this book as a arc member. Give my thoughts of own free will . The book was little slow at the start but couldn’t put down from then on . Everett is the last of the single mountain men that are friends from the military life . He starts dating Helen from the diner like the rest of his friends . She has to go to Chicago and sell her condo and ghosted him not having his number he thought she was gone like the rest of family did . Helen wakes up sick now she thinks it is worse like her father until she goes to the doctor and surprise something else is going on . Everett steps up when needed just like he always wanted to be .

E is for Everett is book #5 in the Secret Baby Mountain Man Romance. Everett is the last single man in the group with Carter and Deacon who were together in the marines and never thought he would get his happy ending, but when a feisty Helen shows up to take over Dinas Dinner since her sister made such a mess of it will she stay or will she go back to the big city of Chicago and go back to her fancy job there? This book was absolutely so good and had me enthralled from the beginning until the end and had all the right feels. I absolutely have been waiting patiently for This book and trust me it's a must read!

Helen has to return back to the small town she grew up in, to help her parents. She doesn't expect to find a sexy single guy, who just might be the one for her. Everett is a bit envious of the happy couples around him, but he is also happy for his friends finding their special someone. Now he just wants his one. At first it doesn't seem like Helen even like him (at least to Everett), but when they finally connect, they have some sizzling chemistry. I enjoyed their story, both Helen and Everett were easy to like.

Book 5 of Men of Alphabet Mountain. Can be read as a standalone.

'I thought she was running scared
But she turned up with a box of donuts
A secret I wasn’t expecting to hear.
It could tear us apart,
Or make sure we last forever.'

The characters were very complex and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Another great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

This final book in the series is by far the best in my opinion. Helen and Everett are very low drama as far as couples are concerned; no stalkers or abusive exes, no mob families looking for revenge.... and this is what I loved about their story. Everett is at a point in his life where he wants to settle down and have his own family, Helen is not there at all. She has tons on her plate, and thinks she needs to be elsewhere. A wonderful small town vibe, with cute and quirky characters. I was drawn in by the simplicity of the story and the quality of the story telling. Beautiful read.

Everett the last one of the crew thinking her ways going to be lonely and alone forever. Helen decided to leave her Chef dream in Chicago and come back home to help her family out with the diner she had grown up in. They met and attraction was there but Helen wanted to fix the diner so she could go back to what she wanted. Lucky for her Everett did not give up and even if it was short term he just wanted to be with her for what he could have her for. If you want to find out what happened then pick up this book but do t forget to read the other ones also.
