As a whole this is a really fun set. It features smart modern women and kind swoony men, lots of heady NASA/Space science-y stuff, and plenty of steamy bits. If you can get the bonus epilogues after each book they're really worth it.
Book 1 Space Junk ~ Female nerd romance. The women's equality rep is amazing, and it's a really sweet love story between Jackie the rocket scientist and Flynn the mechanic. It's got one of the best epilogues I've ever read. This is my favorite book of the series.
Book 2 Space Cowgirl ~ Opposites attract trope with cowboys, wedding planning, home rehab and stalker drama—a little something for everyone. Astronaut and alpha-heroine Jules gets in touch with her softer side as Holt the humble cowboy and Cookie the cow break down her walls.
Book 3 Space Oddities ~ Forced proximity. Two unusually tender beta MCs who are so much stronger as a couple. Ian the flight controller and Trish the wandering barmaid/romance writer both have big hurdles to overcome. Once Ian learns to be a fighter he won't let either of them down.
Book 4 Space Balls ~ Age gap, friends with bennies story with two stubborn MCs who are dealing with their pain in all the wrong ways. Rose the free-spirited college student and Bodie the astronaut could be just what each other needs if they'd just let each other in.
Space Age ~ Originally in 2020 this was Book 1, now I guess it's just a little bonus novella. It was written first but I can't really call it a prequel and I wouldn't advise that it be read first because it's very different from the other books and it doesn't really give you the flavor of the series. The NASA theme is barely in there and Jules is the only character they all have in common. These two MCs, Rebecca the NASA physician and Ryan the fireman, aren't really part of the rest of series. They have a cute cougar romance here that's enjoyable, but that's pretty much the last we see of them.
Overall, this is an interesting series to read not just because of the unique setting and content but because we can see Ms. Hudson's style growing and getting better as it goes along. These are all light and fun stories that are easy to read and will lift your spirits. We need more original and imaginative ideas like this in the romance genre.

Great Series
Finally! Great to have heroines who are emotionally mature as well as age appropriate, and intelligent!
I’m tired of reading romance books about hs that are twenty something year olds who are emotionally immature, don’t take charge of their lives and heaven forbid that they actually finished college with advanced degrees and are settled in their careers!
I read the Space Series and the hs are of various ages along with the Hs.
My only complaint is the worn out trope of the brilliant nerdy h without social graces including a filter when they say out loud what they are thinking and that may be inappropriate or, at the very least, ingenuous.
This is the third book I’ve read having the same trope and it is boring and unimaginative. I’ve met brilliant people and had yet to come across one that didn’t know how to speak or interact with others.
One other plot line that didn’t fit was with Jules having an online stalker and not reporting it to the authorities right away. She’s ex-military, an astronaut who has access to top secret or at least highly classified information but doesn’t preserve evidence, electronic or physical, she received from the stalker??!! I understand this was to make her seem vulnerable but it just didn’t fit with how her background and character were developed and described in the book.
All in all the books contained in the Space Series Box Set were a good and enjoyable read that, on the whole, won’t insult the reader’s intelligence.

space series
This series has been on my TBR for a while now and all I can say is what took me so long. I recommend this series to anyone and everyone. I even listened to a couple of the books on Audible, but as I usually enjoy the Audio more, I definitely enjoyed reading this series more, why? Well the narrators were great but one of my favorite things is the banter and humor in any book, but this series was a hyena laughing, out loud belly cackling , roll on the floor laughing series. When listening I had to go back again and again to catch the sentences that I missed because I couldn’t hear it over my own laughter but when reading I could set my device aside, laugh out loud as long as needed and then resume where I left off. This series also had so much heart and emotion that you also shed a few tears. The Characters had depth and were relatable, and the insight into NASA was informative and never became boring. This box series also has an extra shot story thrown in , that was one of the funniest and enjoyable shorts I’ve ever read. I recommend this series whole heartedly but especially if it’s a gray day outside, or you’re a bit down in the dumps, this read is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Let me set this up by saying that waaaaay back in the olden days (the '90s), there was a short-lived TV show about the astronauts at Kennedy Space Center. I was going through my NASA phase, as one does, and I devoured the show. Sadly, it didn't last longer than a season, and I have grieved its loss ever since.
So imagine my delight when I discovered Sara L. Hudson's Space Series—it's set in Houston, not Cape Canaveral, but eh, potatoes, po-tah-toes for this space-loving girl. And even better, they're SPICY, which is way more than I can say for the poor one-season wonder of my youth.
I just loved the series. It's a lot of fun, and being set in Houston gives lots of opportunities for not only astronaut hijinks, but also some cowboy shenanigans, too. The MCs are well written, relatable, hilarious, and definitely the kind of people I'd be friends with. The women are smart and strong and independent, and their men are absolute suckers for them ... in several ways. ;)
If you're looking for smart AND spicy, the Space Series is for you!

Get ready to binge is just what mindset you need when you go into this one. There is a full set of laugh out loud romance. The women are smart, strong, witty and most of all real women.
Bk - Space Junk - fell in love with Dr. Jackie Darling Lee. Her brain was just a perk of who she was.
Bk 2 Space Cowgirl - Julie Starr was a riot. She was a straight talker. She laid it all out for you and others.
Bk 3 Space Oddities - Tiny Trish was a southern woman to her heart. She had a lot more to her than her sky high shoes.
Bk 4 Space Balls - Wild and full of life Rose was more than the world saw her as.

I very rarely read books with sequels that follow other characters introduced in the first book. I never find them as compelling as the original.
This series totally changed my mind! It was my first time reading Sara L Hudson and it won't be my last.
Each storyline was unique and the characters were all fleshed out to be different from one another (another issue I've come across with books set in the same world). There is a great balance of humour, angst, and tension in each book and I'll definitely be looking for her other works.

Space Love
This is a fantastic series. The box set is a great way to read it. I suggest reading Space Age first as it is really a prequel to the series. I had read the first 3 books before I found the box set and loved them. My only problem with the box set is that it doesn’t have the links to the bonus epilogues.

Cute and sexy
I don't read a lot of contemporary, but this series was fun, sexy, and cute. I loved all the characters and their interactions. Although Jules is my favorite of the bunch, they all grow on you over time. Well worth the read.

Addicting and entertaining!
Loved these STEM romances - each and every story gave me the feels. So fun to read, I couldn’t put it this down. I felt like every character endears themselves and my heart was warmed the whole time. Definitely binge-worthy!

Fun read!

I have to say that the first book in this series is still one of my all time favorites, if we could just get rid of the "Yo!" it would be outstanding.

This was a good series. I wish more authors interconnected there books like this. Only complaint was Rose in her book. She was a little childish.
