Murder Casebook Volume 1: 12 True Crime Cases

Rate this book
Calling all true crime enthusiasts! Are you looking for a BRAND NEW collection of true crime cases you’ve never heard of?

In this volume, you will read about deadly deeds, coldblooded killers, and appalling acts of violence, as the book takes you on a dark and dreadful journey through some of the most sensational murders in recent history.

Read on for a teaser about what you’ll discover within the pages of this book:

How did a simple pair of glasses give a murderer an idea for a diabolical plot?
What was so unique about a serial killer’s physical appearance that made headlines across America?
Why did a bizarre email lead the police to a callous killer in Montana?
How did a London train design flaw give a vicious attacker an opportunity to corner his victim?
Which British killer emotionlessly wrote about the weather in his diary after killing a young girl?
How did a young Penn State student meet an untimely end while she was avoiding ANOTHER serial killer’s reign of terror in her home state?

….and many more hideously compelling case histories!

The 12 stories within these pages tell us that true crime is never completely black and white, but an unsettling shade of grey. Killers walk among us and come from diverse backgrounds, seldom fitting into a neat little box of psychopathy, pursued by investigators who combine DNA and forensics with old school boots-on-the-ground police work to catch them.

From poisonings to cannibalism, from female killers to violent gangs, Murder Casebook Volume 1 has you covered. If you’re a true crime fan who loves to hear the stories of both killers and victims and to understand the sinister motivations behind murder, this book is for you.

A welcome addition to my TC collection. Unlike the authors previous book I just wanted to kill, which is mostly historical true crime and cold cases, this one contains mostly modern cases, many of which I was unaware of. The author does a fantastic job in describing the events, the killers, victims and manages to interweave other useful info surrounding these horrible homicides. Splendid effort.

Good read

Stories I hadn't read before that held my interest. These stories are heartbreaking and some are still unresolved to this day. Not matter what the author gave a good background and detail too each one.

Boring!

For a book about real murders and reasons for people to kill, this book was boring. I think the old saying about not enough meat on the bone fits this book. Just a little information does not a story tell.
