Our anthology becomes a fairy tale about a little magician delivery boy on the most important delivery of his life. One involving a troll, fairies who kidnap babies, and colorful magic action! Be warned, however, that though you may be thrilled, you may also get your heart broken…

This book continues to be a “fun” read that reminds us of the grotesque horrors of global capitalism. I appreciate how Ba is trying out different narrative structures and styles of storytelling, leveraging the anthology format well. The sort of fairytale/myth divulged in this issue is a nice spin on the troll under the bridge tale. Ba brings aspects of picture book animation into his distinctive, cartoony style.
Some of the satire in this issue is a bit too on-the-nose, but also there’s a strength to just calling out abuses of power pretty plainly.
